I had to save from the moment I could to get out of an abusive home tho, so I guess I had to learn and never stopped thinking that living on as little as I reasonably can and saving everything I could is the best way to go

My husband has not received a proper raise in 20 years. He works in tech and his company name changes more than my nieces diapers. This might have been true in the 80's but most companies don't pay for shit so you never get out of the hole.

I am going to try and retire early by investing in stocks and not spending too much on things I don't need.
Started saving in highschool after I inherited quite a bit and look at me now ….i am in debt and no savings left. Got no drivers licence(it's expansive where I am at) or car and haven't been to any vacation or even on a proper nights out in over 6 years or precisely since I started working. Lifestyle inflation is definitely the reason I won't be able to retire and definitely not being cronicaly underpayed, the hidden expansive for further education or the rediculous prices for health-care insurance despite it being mandatory where I am at. Heck I can't even remember buying something nice for myself that isn't my weekly groceries :'D

It’s wise to save, I mean no one’s stopping anyone from spending or enjoying their life but saving 20% and taking this percentage a bit higher as the years go by is quite efficient both in the case of short term and long term.
I work at Volvo Trucks Belgium and they save money for my retirement and the government will pay me 1700 a month when I’m retired.
Yeah, accurate. The number of times I’ve blown the money from my totally average $150,000 salary on a Lamborghini.
What guys like this really want is for you to let them tell you how to save and invest your money, take several percent off the top and have zero liability if their ideas end in your financial ruin.
U can earn money but don't live your life with it coz we will punish you when ur at the end of ur life.. SLAVERY
