Reddit is already a dumpster fire of a company. Going public, there's a solid chance they'll ban/limit the amount of "adult" content on the site, and I guarantee this will cause a mass exodus of users. I personally would not buy the stock.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @Seagaltalk says:

the begining of the end of Reddit. Although it really ended when the moderators became dictators

there is no other platform that perhaps knows more about my hobbies than reddit, yet when I get ads on reddit I get ads from things that I most hate, their ads algorithm sucks, that's their main problem and should focus on improving that

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @bogatyr2473 says:

The reason for the API revolt was simple, a lot of mod tools needed to keep subreddits working needed the API because reddits native tools were terrible and biggest of all their official app is absolute garbage.

10mins on reddit shows how people are going to be hoping it tanks

Reddit makes so little. Also AI is going to make it completely useless. Can't wait to short it.

I don't understand how a 19 year old company that don't even generate a billion dollars in revenue could ipo 😂. Like after 19 years is it magically going to start growing more users and start generating multi billion in revenue? This will be a penny stock.

"Made famous by the subreddit WallStreetBets during the short-squeeze".

Really? Wasn't famous at ALL until then? Wtf are you smoking.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @KeavyGoesLive says:

I was banned from Reddit almost three years ago yet I still got the email offering me an opportunity to buy their stock.

Like, why would I buy stock for a company that’s made it VERY clear it doesn’t want me as a customer?

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @chiquita683 says:

Reddit is a goldmine for AI but I doubt they will capitalize on it correctly. Its better than Google for finding accurate information

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @asdf0747 says:

historically, Reddit has never made profit until recently afaik.
