I've been >around< for more than 1/2 century and I have seen my share of stock market contractions. Saw the birth of video gaming, and the birth of the internet, to name a few. Now, I get to witness the birth of blockchain and Crypto, and I can personally attest that Crypto is a completely different beast from the US stock market. 100% agree that there should be a guarded approach to crypto investing. You may not win hearts and minds of everyone, but you have and are earning respect for telling the truth and trying to help others to look out for themselves. I'm super picky who I listen too for crypto analysis.. I have made over 23` btc from day trading with Shirley Bagshaw strategy Signal in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.
From what the whole market has been seeing is the new jobs report didnt crash the market today, but it was the nordstream 1 pipeline shutdown due to oil leak. the market had plenty of opportunity earlier and later on into the day to crash, not until the oil leak and shut off again of the nordstream pipeline did the market crash.

Actually Ricky your analysis is little off, the market actually liked the jobs report, it had softened as they need it to be. What happened was the gas pipeline in Europe ruptured and going to add to European shortage combined with Jenet Ellen had a interview on MSNBC and doubled down on hawkish talk in regards to interest rates, otherwise we would of had a super green day as the spy could of potentially got to 405

NVDA eyeing that one for the longterm I bought a small amount of my total entry into that stock I still have cash on the sidelines if we continue to come down but I really like NVDA. It's way below 700 pre split around 550 pre July 2021 split. I like them around these prices especially if we come down to 100-90 if we come down that low but I have a feeling we might see those prices not to long from today. But that's just me I already bought in with a small amount today; just thought I should point out NVDA. Make your own decisions!

Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals

Honestly, these drops are actually a GREAT THING. (Big picture.)
At the end of the day, we all want the same thing: A stable stock-market that delivers "x" amount of returns.
However… that CANNOT HAPPEN until inflation gets dealt with. And, inflation can't get dealt with properly until the market retreats.
Furthermore, every time these huge drops happen, all it does it brighten the results of the corresponding CPI report, and those have been the #1 market catalyst for the last 6 months. (That and Fed Meetings.)
