It's actually called " holding the bag"
Hedge funds by definition is "a technicqe used to reduce or eliminate financial risk by taking two positions that will offset each other if prices change" reduce or eliminate . Meaning not completely impenetrable there is one successful documented riposte that has been successful in the past.

I had no issues buying 1400 more AMC at open. I use RBC Direct Investing in Canada.
Dumb question (sorry, noob here): when you say “lock in profits” do you mean to literally set up a “sell stop limit” for the amount you are up with the stock so if it dips back below that profit price then it auto sells at a profit??

i tried buying a ton of amc at market open with a market order and it would let the order go but it would never get filled even after about 10 minutes so i would cancel and try again and it would just never fill

Very SAD that they keep PREVENTING people from purchasing GME and AMC stock. People need to buy on a different platform from Robinhood and TD Ameritrade that are trying to manipulate the market and help hedgefunders

Not buying anymore but holding my 100 shares bought at $14.92 for the principal. I think it has potential to move during the week. This was definitely a stock I didn't think much about and just jumped in. I can't let my emotions get to me like I did with Gordman stock when I first started years ago. Learn from me, never let emotions get to you.

I wasn’t able to Sell 10 shares of AMC yesterday
Cash App and TD and WeBull were all rampantly screwing people with the same trading delays. Saw HUNDREDS of complaints on Reddit of people only being screwed on GME and AMC delays of up to 3 hours. They were specifically waiting till the price goes up to process morning BUYS, and then waiting for the dip to process SELL. And the difference is ridiculous. On buys it'd be 30 minute delay, on sale itd be over an hour etc.. It was perfectly manipulated to cost all of us as much as possible to force us out of the stock. Then they threw naked shorts and short ladder attacks at us like the criminal scum they are to force it down. I literally have zero respect and confidence in the fairness and integrity of the stock market anymore. The whole thing is rigged.

look at the incredibly low volume on $gme as soon as it starts going down. Short ladder attacks to trigger sell-offs. Wont work let those diamond hands sit
