Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

All right everyone. So uh, I thought for today, uh, today, the market is kind of slow. we don't have a lot moving. uh, right now.

So I so far haven't taken any trades and although it's 10 past nine and I typically would be trading right now since there isn't anything on the scan that I'm really in love with, I thought maybe what I would do this morning is, um, go over how to build a watch list. And so today, I can still build a watch list. Although I may not take trades off the watch list today because the quality of the individual patterns may not be strong enough. I could still walk you through the process of building a watch list, so this is a good opportunity to kind of go through this routine.

The nice thing for me is every day I sit down and it is exactly the same routine. so this should be fairly quick. uh, and fairly straightforward for you guys, so I hope you find this helpful. Okay, so for me, the way I find stocks to day trade whether it's penny stocks, large caps, whatever it is, I'm using scanners and of course the scanners that I'm using.

As you guys know, it's the day trade dash platform right here. so you guys who are warrior members, you all have access to it. You can also sign up to it, uh, individually. at Daytradedash.com you can go over there and sign up for it.

So this is showing me stocks moving up in in real time. So just for instance, you see this ssy moving up here. So I'll take a quick 2 000 share starter on that. It just hit the scanner so the scanner right there is going to pay me 180 on that trade.

That's a quick scalp of a half dollar whole dollar. I wasn't really expecting to take that trade, but as it turns out, Ssy is now our leading Gapper. So the way I build a watch list is by looking at my Gap scan and I decide which one of these stocks have potential. Now, what's interesting about Ssy is that it's actually continuation from yesterday.

It started to move yesterday and it's continuing higher so I just added right there at 220. My next ad is 225 and then I'm gonna go for 235 and 245.. I'm going to keep scaling into this move because now Ssy is our leading gapper in the market. Watch next, add to Uh 30.

watching and looking to add at 227 and 228 Watch right here. adding it 225. Now looking for the break of 228 230 and let's see if we get 235. there's a nice bid on this one.

I like seeing good bids holding a 221 average profit 800. It's stalled out at 230. I'm gonna let it dip and then I'm going to look to add back new orders 231. it's up 40.

Added it to 29 to anticipate the break of 30. next ad is 35. One of the things I mentioned earlier today is that it only takes one. So if we have one stock that starts to open up, then just like that, we're going to have probably a lot of traders piling into it because nothing else really looks that great today.

So Ssy would be on my watch list because it is the leading gapper right now in the entire market. Let's watch the first one minute candle to make a new high high of this candle is 232.. Reminder for those tuning in for the morning show on Youtube that the broadcast on Youtube is slightly delayed versus the ultra low latency streaming servers that we use for all the Warrior Pro members and the day Trade Dash members. So I wasn't expecting to have a trade here added at 225.
Now looking for the break back through 230 and then 235 for a squeeze up. There's 230 added to 232. There's 230 on the bid. This will put me up just over a thousand.

I think 996 989 probably should have bought more shares. Watching for another dip, it's up 40. Um, the interesting thing on this is that we have. We actually have pretty decent volume.

It's a cheaper stock which I'm not always crazy about, but as it popped up there to two, I jumped on. For the break of that level, we got to move up to 214. The first trade was just a small scalp, smaller share size 200 bucks. Added another 800 as it squeezed higher high.

This current candle is 34. float shows as uh, pretty low. Five million shares, new orders at 35. watching for a dip? Macd is opened it 30 right there.

Green on the tape. Now let's see if we get the breakthrough: 34.35 Book a little bit of profit on that move flat since it didn't break right through me just over a thousand. Um, so so now let's rewind for a second. So that was a little bit of live trading on.

Ssy, it's up 40. Uh, we have a double top now at 34. there's a 10 000 share buyer down there on the bed. but we're starting to get into a kind of tighter range here.

Where it's um, it's it's within like 225 235. It's a 10 cent range. It needs to break out and start to open up, and if it does, then that could give us some more opportunities. But if it can't then well, I guess then that's that.

The low of this dip here says 18. I didn't actually see that. That must have been a candle wick. All right.

So my job each morning is to sit down and watch the scans. So this scanner just made me a thousand bucks. I wouldn't have seen this. I wouldn't have noticed it if it didn't hit that scanner right there.

So this is what brings the stock to my attention. I see it hit the scanner now it was moving up the gap scanner but this is a list, so I'm not always looking closely at the list. I'm really just looking at the stocks that actually hit the scanner and are triggering. Therefore, an alert, right? So this hit that scanner triggered an alert and that gave a nice quick trade.

So by the way, for those that want to check out Daytrade Dash software, you could subscribe to the software standalone. If you want to be a member over at Warrior Trading and go through all the classes and everything else, then that's fine too. It's whatever you want. Sometimes more experienced traders just want the trading tools.

It's less expensive. Other traders want the support and the community and the mentoring and everything else, so it's up to you. But in any case, um, so this hit the scanner there at 9 12. I had already looked at it earlier this morning because it was gapping up about 15 earlier and when I looked at it earlier, that was when it was right around this level of 85.
Around 8 a.m I thought, okay, this is interesting. Um, you know it's a continuation move. Yesterday had a nice big green candle continuation for second day. We'll keep it on watch.

We also had Kavl on the top list here of the top Gappers at 28. This one to me, um, it popped up here to 90 but it didn't really open up. it didn't move higher and so it ended up for me, not really feeling like it was worth trading. The 200 moving average is up here at 222.

So I looked at it, I did my analysis and I said nah, I don't think that's going to work. Vacc: This one floats a little higher at 35 million shares. I wasn't really sure that was going to work either. Ssy Watching this down here dip on Ssy at 20? Why? that's a dip below V web.

Now looking to add over 225 for the retest of 230.. So I like to try to buy these bottoming tail candles and then look for the first one minute candle to make a new high. So new order on Ssy is at 25.. watching green on the tape 23 24.

watching here, looking for the break back through 225 and then a retest of uh, there's 22 on the ask added at 23. There you go, there's 25. So nice trade there 200 winner. I actually thought that that I was hoping that would go up to 30.

So a so-so trade only 200 winner kind of popped up. Uh, right at the end of that one minute candle up to 26. didn't actually make a new high. Might watch it again for a dip.

I wish I'd gotten filled a little lower on that dip, but uh, whatever. Okay, so we'll keep it on watch for a five minute trade at the open. We only have nine minutes to the opening bell, so we're getting pretty close to the open here. Um, let's see.

So uh, going down the scans, you've got Vacc, Kavl Ssy. Then you have some higher priced stocks 190 right there. you've got some lower price stocks. You've got some higher float stocks.

So generally speaking, I'm looking for stocks between well under ten dollars, usually between two and and and twenty. Uh, but you know that that's kind of the range between three and four or five. Those can be good stocks, but eight to twelve can also be good. In any case, generally under 20 or so looking for floats of under 20 million shares as well, and then looking for something starting to move.

So I usually will see that on the scanner here. But when I first sit down, I've got my list here of the top Gappers in the market and this is the same type of thing a lot of traders use. They sit down, they look at the top gainers, and so right now a trader who's sitting down at 9 21, you know, as we're getting ready to go into the opening bell 922, whatever he's or she is going to see. Oh Ssy is the leading capper right now, so this may be one of the first stocks they'd watch they would probably see.
Oh, it's a green candle, but a higher volume red candle. A little choppiness. Macd is starting to cross over double top at 234. Okay, we're at the V web.

Okay, so stop down. Here is 213. yeah. Okay, so if I had sat down and was looking at this right now, I'd be a little concerned about Double Top.

A little concerned about the high red volume. It's a technical setup only. so um, I don't know. It would be a little bit of a little bit of a maybe which is not ideal.

You'd rather have some something that you sit down and it's like a definite yes. I'm interested because you know when you have maybes, traders may not take trades on it and then you don't have as much volume at the breakout and then it doesn't go higher. So we sort of need stocks to be clean and obvious and I'm not sure right now that we've quite got that. So plug power Some news earlier on this one it is higher float.

but news with Amazon I was a little slow in seeing the headline. I thought I it might be a little too high. Had these two topping tail candles and sometimes for me, um these can these higher priced stocks that move quickly. You know from 28 to 30 they can retrace the move and come back down.

S P 500 Had a little bit of a bounce yesterday. a green day this morning we're gapping up so that's good. We had Gdp this morning came in we also had jobs numbers unemployment looking. I think it was unemployment was looking okay so you know the only problem there is.

Sometimes good news is bad news. If the um economists at the Fed want to see the market cooling off a little bit, they might want to see unemployment moving a little higher because that would then reduce disposable income and reduce spending and then curb inflation. So hard to say for sure, but those are the conditions of the overall market. Ssy here this morning still on watch and then you know going into the opening range we'll see if anything holds up.

Ssy is in a fairly tight range here. Double bottom down in this area. is it 13. the high back there was 22.

so we're back below V Web. Uh, the high of this candle is 24. If we break over 24 we're gonna have first five minute candle making a new high green on the tape. Big green order there at 18 goes up to 19 and 20 though not huge so today definitely feels a little choppier a little slower.

I was thinking as I started this morning show that there was going to be no trades today, but um then Ssy hit the scanner So reminders always that trading is risky and my results are not typical. so make sure you take it slow. For those tuning in on Youtube, don't try to blindly follow me or anyone else. We've got about five minutes to the opening bell, so we've got Macd crossover stocks below V Wap Peloton.
Good morning! Yeah, we have an ipo today, but I'm not really sure that it's going to give us anything that exciting. To be honest, the ipos we've been seeing the last couple weeks have been pretty risky. I felt a lot like a gamble. So Kprx, um, it's too cheap At 23 cents for me.

it's up nicely, but it's too cheap for me. So going into the open, we'll be watching scanners and we'll see if there's anything else that pops up the way Ssy did and we'll look to jump on that momentum as soon as we see something starting to pull away. So going into the open, I don't have a very defined watch list today. Ssy not really very interested in the others.

About two and a half minutes, uh, or so to the opening bell, so Warrior members Detroit Dash members will keep broadcasting here. We'll look for some opportunities between now and the opening through the opening range. Hopefully we see something start to open up and become obvious since there's not a lot moving. I think if one does start to move it will be obvious.

so just we'll wait for that. But if it ends up being a slow morning then it'll be a slow morning and we'll be back at it tomorrow to finish off the week. So that's the game plan. he.

Put FRTG on your watchlist for tomorrow. It's moving the past couple days and has the right share structure. OTC, so it's a risk.

Ross what do you think of the market for today and past 3 days. I’ve been per trading for the past 3 weeks and I’ve been incorporating your momo strategy. The results were as expected , a couple of green trades here and there. I felt my progress almost daily and it was almost just about entry improvement . However , the past couple of days , nothing is really breaking out clearly , it’s mostly false breakouts after another . Can you share your opinion on this.

    Much appreciate your videos

Thanks Ross for the tips on how to build a watchlist. Very useful information! Finding small cap stocks worth my time is the most frustrating part of learning how to day trade.
