I think the reason why Chinese govt accused ant is because of the way ant cud potentially be another cause of global financial catastrophe. There is no basis for the lawsuit. Alibaba and Ant could not possibly have seen the events which occurred. The Chinese government is the wild card in this scenario. They can change the rules whenever they want. It's an inherent risk of doing business with China. The business practices of Alibaba and Ant did not cause the drop in price.
