So he does it again, people he he does it again um it doesn't fail with him. Uh today is a very again: it's it's predictable, but it's like: when does it stop? When does it? When do you? When do you let up um? So you know yesterday, if not two days ago, the house passed the two thousand dollar stimulus and then it had to go to the senate to be uh reviewed mitch. Mcconnell now is blocking that effort to increase the stimulus payments from 600 to 2000. So what that means is back to 600 again there, as of right now will not be a 2 000 stimulus check.
There will only be 600 and maybe 1200 for married couples, and so you know 600 for dependents, but there will not be a 2 000 stimulus check, um or 4 000 for married couples. Disappointing um, more and more. This country shows us, you know exactly the morals um, the people in the senate that were, and, unfortunately, the republican, the leader does not care at this point. It has nothing to do about being liberal democrat republican.
It has to all do with being human and having one common sense and having two having emotion, having understanding uh for other people's situations. We all know he's not hurting from this. We all know he still has a job he's getting paid. We know his family's probably taken care of for years to come.
Uh and a lot of people in the office are but it's not about them, because they aren't the ones struggling. It's about us, it's about the people and uh they. Let us down big time um. I don't expect this to sit well with anyone.
I'm sure you guys are um upset and i'm truly truly sorry uh. You know for anyone who who got their hopes up. You know i think it was gon na go from 600 to 2000 um. I just i had a feeling i don't ever want to be negative.
I don't ever want to be negative, but i had a feeling that um it was going to be blocked by the republican party mitch mcconnell uh, to be exact. So you know the article's right here and i'll show you guys and i'll put a link in the description. If you guys want to read up on it. Um senate majority leader mitch, mcconnell on tuesday blocked an effort to quickly pass a measure to increase direct stimulus payments from two from six hundred to two thousand um.
So with that being said, pretty much more than likely. This round is going to be 600 bucks. It seems like anything that is more than 600 will be blocked at the end of the day by him, and it is crazy to see that one person or one party out of the majority mind you. The majority vote the popular vote.
This goes also with the presidency. The majority of the popular vote doesn't mean anything. It all comes down to a few people, people who are in the senate and depending on what party you're in you typically can predict. What's going to happen, we are in a very old-fashioned and unfair uh country as far as how it's run, how things are done with the law.
A lot of things need to change. This country is not i. I would not rank this country to be like people say this is the best country. This is not the best country in the world um, and this shows you why we're not the best country in the world this right here is why we are not the best country in the world, and i urge all of you guys who have all this love And respect for this country to give it the bare minimum, give it what it gives you um, don't give it more because you know you see what happens right um. So that's all i have to say about it. What do you guys feel and again? I know a lot of you are furious um, but again a lot of you such as myself, were not surprised, but we are majorly disappointed because we thought i thought for even just a little bit that maybe he would be like mitch. Mcconnell, two thousand bucks. It's been almost a year.
Families are getting eviction, notices, families are being um, losing their jobs, they're losing family members um. You know, due to this pandemic, give them 2 000.. That's the least we can do 600 is crumbs and uh yeah. That's it.
I will keep you guys updated, please, you know, unfortunately, there's nothing. We can do to really fix that decision um. So i urge you guys to have emotions but get over it quickly and um just try to progress and control what you can control and just kind of just move forward. Why are you surprised , it's been known since May that the political heads in Washington don't give a F about the welfare of the American people . Washington is willing to give other countries more support then for it's own citizens .
