Ape has 400% short interest or more than 4x the float currently shorted! But, the SEC is currently doing something about it (apparently).
Yahoo is currently showing 481% short interest for APE, or 2.5bn shares shorted, which lines up well with the estimate of 2bn synthetic shares.
This is likely caused by funds failing to deliver, failing to report shorts and failing to report options trades, all leading to billions of synthetics having been created.
Currently, none of the brokers/data providers know what the real data is/know what to report, thats why there's so many different data points.
However, the SEC has listed AMC as under investigation and the short selling investigation is also on its next leg.

Your still pumping these stock's? I made my money and moved on to far more profitable trades last year. All these videos are click bait filling people with false hope when the smart one's got out before the economy tanked and drug AMC to the ground!
I think we need to get rid of banks. As crazy as that might sound. Lol They aren’t worth it at all. We need to come up with a better way to manage our money or restructure banking as a whole. They have way way way too much power and should actually have no power at all. We are the bank’s customers and look how they treat us. They act like they are rich when they have nothing really. They have fake monopoly money they print whenever and they steal our money which of course is also fake because they made it. Describing what banking truly is sounds more crazy to me than no banks at all. Lol We just need to strip them of all these ridiculous advantages they have. Undo all the laws that help them. It will never happen. 🤣

Yahoo has somewhat corrected the mistake in the number of outstanding shares reported from 5.17M shares to 513.33M, and have adjusted the short % of shares outstanding to 9.95% accordingly. The true number of outstanding shares for APE should be the same as AMC at 516.8M shares. Please be more diligent about verifying the information you post. Third party sites often have mistakes such as these as they must gather the data from SEC filings and then compute the numbers.
Understanding that this downturn is something to be happy about, not stress over. Best birthday gift anyone could ever asked for. The more you learn about money, the more confident you become in building wealth. Invest make those dollars count ,stay committed to the craft . It takes the same time to make $100 as it does to make $100k.
The only good news, will be will be when these companies all go bankrupt.
