Hey this is tom and welcome to another video and, as always, i'm going to give you a recap of today's stock market. Everything you got to know and as always, don't click nothing, don't smash, nothing don't buy. Nothing. There's no need just give me your attention.
So, as always in our videos we're starting with the bottom line first, because i know you got to do, you are probably in a hurry. So here's the bottom line in 30 seconds and if you want to stay for the full video grab, a chair grab, a coffee grab a beer and let's do this. So, first of all, let's talk about reviewing running into some operational problems. Oh that's! A shocker also tesla emails of elon musk to all employees come out and they're funny, but also really interesting.
Robin hood, according to deutsche bank, is overvalued wow. Another shocker and goldman sachs are saying that amazon is actually undervalued again. What a shocker also apple is heating up all about the apple car. The rumors are getting hotter and harder 2025.
Apparently it's actually happening. Let's talk about the implications to the evmarket. Also, it actually hit a target price of 160. We started covering this at 132, hit our target price 160 bucks.
I'm gon na tell you what i think is next for apple as well as the other stuff that we have coming up in this video for you. So if you decided to stay good for you, let's do this. So let's talk about rivian, so rivian actually started off this ipo with a bang. They went up by a whole lot of percent, but over the past few days, they're down 26.
So what the hell is going on so obviously the hype is wearing off, but now we have some operational issues which is not a shocker, so the global director of fleets of amazon just came out and said well, basically, the testing vehicles that we got from riven Are basically 40 underperforming as far as range? If you turn on the ac, the range goes down by 40, which is obviously unacceptable for a delivery van, and this is just the one of many many problems to come when you're building a new vehicle at scale. You have to foresee a lot of issues. I think that that's where irvine is in a deep situation, even though it's a good company with good vehicles, really good vision. The problem is that, based on the current valuation, they have the level of expectations, for them is so high, it's impossible for them not to bust unless they're the new michael jordan, pretty much so unless they play to mj's level they're going to be anthony bennett, the Guy who went number one and never did anything in the nba shout out to anthony no hate for you, i'm just using you as an example.
When you get overhyped, it's really hard to meet expectations and raven has not even started scaling yet so they're. Seeing a lot of issues in the future and everything like that is going to chip away at this bubble, people created our vivian. So if you hold the narration shares, i suggest you really think hard about what your next move is. Now, let's talk about apple, more rumors, coming out about apple, actually working really hard on the apple car at 2025.. Now here's what i think about this. I think that if they actually do it in a true apple fashion, it's going to be extremely paternalistic. I don't think they're going to have a steering wheel in this car because they want to drive you like their phones like the computers. They want to control everything.
So if they're going for full self driving, i think that's kind of the futuristic cars. You don't get to choose nothing, it's all there for you. If you like it good, if you hate it, also good some people like it, some people hate it. I have apple products all over my desk, so i'm good with it now do.
I think they can make it. I think it's gon na be extremely challenging. The amount of capex investment they'll have to put in to build an automotive business is insane we're talking about a lot of money. They have the resources, but for them to allocate so much of their future into the automotive business.
It's going to be very difficult, not to mention that it's really hard to create a car company from scratch, although on the good side kind of things, it is a company with a lot of cult following they are good at selling value. So i think if they come out, they probably compete with the lucid not with the tesla, because i think they come out with like a lucid type car more of a value high-end product, not something that competes with a 30 000 product. So i think they can do it. I think they definitely have the money and the drive to do it.
I think it's going to be insanely difficult, although i think they're not behind tesla behind as lucid, so i think the gap is not as big as it would be if they were actually competing with the tesla model 3.. So, let's see what happens with this also we have some leaked emails from elon, musk and tesla. Now you'd expect to see some. You know um horrible things in these leaked emails, but they're actually pretty amusing.
One of them is basically ill and tell employees they can listen to music on the job. That's fine, even if they put like one earbud and they leave one ear open for safety. That's fine, not something! You usually hear from a trillion dollar company ceo telling to his employees. That kind of shows you how flat the structure is there and one of the things that people love about this company is the fact that almost any employee have access to elon through email and he actually responds so pretty cool.
Another example of how involved elon is in every micro, not just macroeconomics, of this company really impressive. Actually, the second email is actually more amusing. I think it was half a joke. He basically sent out an email said.
If i give you instructions, you have three options. Convince me i'm wrong because oftentimes i am or execute it to perfection or ask qualifications of how to execute. If you're not doing one of the threes you're getting fired, i think it was kind of amusing. I don't think literally, it means people are immediately getting fired like donald trump style, but i think it's very clear he's not saying that he knows everything in this email. He actually says: hey, i'm mistaking a lot of the times, but unless you call me out - and you tell me hey, i think this is wrong because abc if you're, not following my instructions, here's the door buddy, i think it's fair. Both emails are amusing in true elon styles, just to show you how involved this guy is in management and how accessible it is to be able to communicate like this with everyday employees. But then again this is tesla very, very different, and now, let's have a chat about robinhood, my favorite stock of all times, along with nicola and lucille and rivian just kidding so deutsche bank are now coming out saying well think robin hood is overvalued. No sherlock! I mean basically they're saying they enjoyed a lot of the game, stop issue and the amc issue, but their growth is really slowing down.
Now, if you go to tip ranks which is a site i actually have in my affiliate links. In fact, this is the only affiliate link i ever had and i've been using their stuff for a long long time go to their affiliate link sign up for tip ranks. Trust me you'll. Thank me.
So if you go to the pranks, they have the service called web traffic. You can see what's going on with robinhood even before the reports, so you can see what's going to happen in q4, they're already losing pace and it's been going on since q2. They've been losing traction slowly in the growth, but now you can see what's going on q4 before the reports come out, you can see they're still in this flat decline. I think robinhood is slowing down because people are getting back to work.
Things are reopening and you know the whole game stop amc thing is over and the money is now in crypto i mean everybody that used to play these gambling games on revenue are now at the exchanges. Basically, betting on these new cryptos, so they're losing a lot of this business. That's why i said when you count on these people to support you, the people who are chasing the quick gains. This is how you end up.
I don't argue with deutsche bank. I think they're 100 right so before we move on so apple just hit a target price 160. My entry price was 132.. I told you my target is 160.
We hit it friday. What i'm going to do, i'm going to post a dcf on our patreon page. If you want to sign up, the link is below five bucks per month, i'm going to post the dcf on our patreon community and i'm going to show what's my next target prices, if i'm staying, if i'm selling, so that's going to be posted on our patreon Page within the next 24 to 48 hours now for the final story of the day, we have goldman sachs, actually come out and said that amazon is their top pick for 2022. Again, no sherlock. A year ago, i told you, i think amazon is a 5 000 stock they're unbeatable. The only thing that can stop amazon is regulatory constraints, some sort of anti-trust issues which doesn't seem to be happening, at least in the us. The anti-trust authorities are basically asleep. They don't care about anything at this point so unless somebody stops and completely breaks apart, amazon they're taking over they're pretty much a monopoly already in what they do as far as cloud they're, the best as far as e-commerce they're the best.
So i think it's a five grand stock assuming there's no regulatory issues. I completely agree with goldman sachs and, as always, if you want to contribute, please comment below. Let us know what you think about these events. If you want to just call me out, that is fine as well as always a huge shout out to the channel members and patriots for supporting this channel five bucks a month.
You can do it as well. The link is below i'll, see you tomorrow.
Apple doesn't even build its own phone much less their future cars. They'll line up a failing Chinese EV maker to build their design. Meh
I wish Amazon do a stock split, currently per share price is too high. Yes I know about fractional shares and don't care for them.
From someone who has fixed Computers for almost 30 years as a living, self driving cars are likely the worst possible place auto makers should take the industry. They will either cause more accidents or bankrupt the companies for failed components from said accidents.
Tesla has plans to make a Tesla satellite phone in the future to connect to Elon’s Starlink internet. So far SpaceX has 1600 satellites functioning and licensed to add 2600 more = 4200 in service to cover the world except for the North and South Pole!! I think Apple should concentrate on their Apple phone advancement to world wide coverage before Elon takes over the phone industry also! IMO 💎🙌😎🇨🇦TESLA
Apple has $200b in cash. They can invest what's needed. The question is, will they?
In many multinational companies you can send email to high exicutives or CEO's, the difference is that they don't listen to people below their social position, whatever that is in their heads….
Ford just announced this weekend that they will no longer partnering with Rivian on vehicle production! Ford also indicated they will be selling their Rivian shares after the stock lock-in period! I do wish Rivian success! 💎🙌🇨🇦😎TESLA
When Microsoft opens individual store fronts [because they can] people gonna be like, Amazon who? Yep, $MSFT is the $5000 stock, not Jeff Bezos' overvalued bookstore.
Just think- would you trust Elon Musk with your life, with your kids lives, your family? Or would you trust Apple?
Elon musk has lied a lot to pump his company and FSD, I would NEVER trust him to give us safe robotaxis!
Apple products are overpriced low quality products, amazing how many people got sucked into apple Eco System
Apple 🍎 car? Heck! Tim Cook didn't even wanna meet w/ Elon
Tim Cook should’ve bought Tesla when Elon brought it to Apple during Model 3 production hell. This may be the biggest MISS of Tim Cook’s tenure as CEO
I never believe in so called leaked anything these days. Also, I know from my own experience in corporate America that people at the top always come out with these gems of wisdom which are really just BS at the end of the day.
I work in cloud and I don’t think they are actually the best. Azure is the best and this by long shot
Heated driver seat and steering wheel will help Rivian's delivery van's cold mileage range along if there's no heat pump option.
Must say…
APPLE the company who designs products that can'tr be repaired, who got sued because they made a phone where you could not replace the battery.
Do not believethey have the right "design philosophy" for building cars.
APPLE have a unique eco system with faithful customers that make it possible for them to have very high margins and remember, they do not build their phones, they just design them.
How would an APPLE car be??? You can only charge it with an APPLE charger???
Would they actually build cars (since they do not even make their phones)??
Doubtful…
Cars are a low margin business by including cars they would "crater" APPLE's profit margins as a whole.
What I COULD SEE is APPLE partnering up with car manufacturers and provide electronics as in connectivity, infotainment etc.
But considering APPLE's pretty closed ecosystem they would have to open up a bit or limiting themself to APPLE users.
Considering the future of profitability in cars will be software why would any automaker share this with APPLE???
To me it sounds like a dumb idea.
If they want to build cars buy an existing WORKING brand do not risk the APPLE brand.
Apple is the world's largest company and for them to enter the EV world so late and not be a leader makes me think Tim Cook won't be bold enough to pull the trigger risking their entire ecosystem and brand. At their level failure would be devastating.
@Tom Nash Hi bro in your opinion at what price I should start buying Lucid share.I am new to market. Thanks for guidance.🙏
Foxconn is building a car factory in the US. They manufacture most Apple products. Apple does the design and the software. They don’t make nothing. Nuff said.
Elon – Do what i tell you to do when I tell you to do it. Or clean out your office and leave. Unless I'm being an idiot, I'm sometimes an idiot. Refuse to obey my orders and tell me what an idiot I am and I will promote you. Thats just the kind of under bosses this organization needs.
This is basically how Julius Caesar conquered the Roman Republic
GameStop and AMC thing is over?! Not by a longshot Tom. Nothing's changed since you made your videos on the topic. Retail owns the float several times over. They will get what's coming to them. Be it in a month or an year, I got time.
Apple Car 2025 – Miss two payments you are driven off the cliff! 🍎 🚑
Makes me question how legit the lawsuits involving harassment working at Tesla are.
After how many years Apple cannot even get voice recognition to work right most of the time, so how could we trust them to to write software to drive a car! Apple even bought an excellent to use voice recognition software company and still it didn’t help, they just took an excellent software with abilities off the market!
My prediction. The apple car will be a partnership with a Chinese company and the infotainment will be from apple
My next move is to buy more RIVN shares. Please dump yours as cheaply as possible
I use Apple products. I'm typing this on a iMac while wearing my Apple watch with my iPhone at my side. Would I get an Apple car? Probably not. It's going to have to be much better than the Tesla offering before I would switch. Remember, there is a cost of switching cars. I tend to think the Apple car will likely be more Tesla than a Tesla and there are some features I'm not liking about the newest Tesla cars.
Apple fan here, but I doubt that they can scale an EV, it is one thing making a phone or Mac and an entirely different thing making a car
This is gonna look like a spam comment but I promise it's not. I recently decided to pull the trigger on doing some margin investing (via Robinhood). I saw a video recently talking about how Elon has been repeatedly hinting about the date December 9th. Either a stock split is gonna be announced or something else big. So now seems like a great time to get into using margin. For those that understand how it works, I decided to use 80% of the value of my stock as margin. I looked at the history of the stock and the biggest price drop I saw was about 16%, which happened recently. So I think it's a pretty safe bet! As long as nothing goes sideways immediately, boom, I have 80% more Tesla stock than I had before!
Apple will meet its "WaterLoo" if it tries to beat Elon Musk.
lol you are obsessed with Elon and Tesla Tom. There are other companies out there too.
Re: Apple, capex, and manufacturing…, how about a deal with Tesla for them to build the cars for Apple? It would certainly be one way for Tesla to respond to Lucid – without doing it directly…? 😉😀🤷♂️ …, and Apple don’t have to build a manufacturing plant and…, they get the best FSD on the planet…? Just a thought… 🙏
