Will there be a forced AMC settlement? Will the SEC halt trading and create a settlement price for us?
I think its looking increasingly more likely that they will, as the market gets ever closer to crashing, a forced settlement seems the only way to prevent an entire financial system collapse.
This is largely dependent on a number of unknown variables like the number of synthetics, but if AMC runs high enough for the financial system to collapse, a forced settlement will need to be made to save the system.

#AMC #ShortSqueeze #AMCStock

Welcome back to channel everyone today, i want to talk about whether there's going to be a forced amc settlement. I also want to talk a little bit more about the plunge protection team and what their role is actually going to be during the amc squeeze so stay tuned and let's make some money, and now i want to dive straight in with the key information. So there's a lot of apes that are going to be holding until full settlement is actually reached. They're not going to sell a thousand dollars they're not going to sell it.

A hundred thousand dollars they'll continue holding until the fed and the dtcc and the sec step in and force a settlement for amc holders. Obviously, if amc continues to run the fed the sec and the dtcc at some point will have to step in and settle all outstanding amc shares to ensure the entire financial system doesn't collapse. Now i guess the big question is when exactly are the plunge protection team? The sec, the dtcc and the fed actually going to have to step in is it going gon na be when amc reaches the low or high hundreds, the low or high thousands a hundred thousand dollars per share, a million dollars per share above or much much lower. Now, as i've spoken about on the channel before, obviously there's so many factors, and so many variables that are unknown at the moment, such as the amount of synthetics actually being traded for amc, is there zero synthetic shares? Is there a hundred million synthetics, two billion synthetics, 20 billion synthetics, or even more, as i showed you in my video last week? If amc has around 2 billion synthetics, then the price of amc can only really get to 10 to 20 000 per share before the entire financial system collapses.

If amc actually has 20 billion synthetic shares, then the price of amc can only really reach 1, 000 or 2 000 before the financial system collapses and therefore, depending on how many synthetics there are and if amc continues to run at some point, the fed and the Plunge protection team will have to step in and settle all outstanding amc shares or the financial system will be collapsing, and now i know this is the case, because the sec has been constantly throwing hints at us apes about what they're planning to do when amc and Gamestop run out of the hedges control. Gary gensler, basically posted a tweet asking us how long the sec can suspend trading in any stock for as i've spoken about in my videos before there's a few different rulings that allows the sec to do this and the sec can suspend trading for up to 10 Business days now, if it comes to it and amc, runs up so high, the entire financial system is in danger. During those 10 business days, the sec, the fed, the plunge protection team and the dtcc will calculate a forced settlement price. Now, what that exact price may be, obviously i can't say, as i don't work for the sec or for the plunge protection team.

However, i imagine the settlement price will be the price that the sec halts, the trading of amc at, for example, if amc runs to a thousand dollars per share and the sec halts amc at exactly a thousand dollars, then i imagine that thousand dollars per share will Be the overall settlement figure now i think what we need to keep an eye on is any potential secret meetings between the fed, the dtcc, the sec and that potential plunge protection team. We know that secret meetings like this actually happen because they've happened many times in the past. This article says in a secret meeting two years ago this month, members of congress were briefed on what the rest of america would soon learn. A deadly pandemic was spreading rapidly overseas and was headed for the united states.
Some lawmakers acted immediately, not in the public's interest, but in their own. They sold stocks weeks before markets crashed when the scale of the threat posed by the novel pandemic became broadly known. So obviously, these secret meetings do happen because members of congress were briefed before the pandemic and given the opportunity to sell their shares. Also many of you may not have a lot of confidence in the stock market.

At the moment, there seems to be tons and tons of market manipulation and market fraud, that's seemingly going unpunished, and that's why i've personally also been investing in cryptocurrency, especially during this massive dip with blockfy. You cannot only buy some crypto, but you can also get up to 250 dollars in free bitcoin when you sign up using the link below and make your first deposit, but that's not all with block fi instead of just buying some crypto and forgetting about it. In a wallet you can also make your money work for you and you can earn up to nine percent interest per year on your investments. Block fight also have a rewards credit card with an introductory rate of 3.5 cashback on your purchases also paid in crypto.

So you can continue to accumulate more and more there's, also no annual fees and no foreign transaction fees. But unfortunately it's only available in the us at the moment and not in the uk and also when you generate a massive profit on your investment. Instead of having to sell off your crypto and recognize all of those games for tax purposes and potentially miss out on the next run, up with block fi, you can take out a crypto backed loan. That way, you can get cash for your day-to-day expenditure without having to sell off your crypto, and something that's just been uncovered is that it looks like there's a closed-door meeting or one of these secret meetings on february.

The third now nathan assumes that this is most likely a big fish doing some shady stuff. The sec is stressing the importance of keeping the information discussed confidential nathan then linked to a page out the sec holding open meetings, which gives the exact criteria in which the sec is allowed to hold a closed meeting. For example, if that closed meeting involves accusing a person of a crime or if the information discussed that closed meeting would impact law enforcement purposes or, for example, where the sec regulates currencies, securities, commodities or financial institutions, that could potentially lead to significant financial speculation about those Stocks like amc and gamestop, obviously i'll link this page down in the description below. So you can read all of the circumstances when the sec holds closed meetings, but it could be very much applicable to the wider market crash and also to amc and gamestop as well.
But so who are the plunge protection team, and what do they actually do? Well, the average ape posted this tweet saying the plunge protection team were created in 1988 to provide market advice to the us president during violent economic times. This plunge protection group consists of the secretary of treasury, the chair of the board of governors of the federal reserve, the chair of the sec, the chair of commodities, futures and trading commission and potentially other individuals as well. Investopedia suggests that critics fear the plunge protection team. Doesn't just advise the president on what to do, but actively intervenes to prop up stock prices colluding with big banks to rig the market? Obviously the plunge protection team's official mission is just to advise the us president.

During times of economic and stock market turbulence, and supposedly they never actually get involved. However, as i spoke about in my video last week, there is evidence to believe the plunge protection team interfered with the markets last week, injecting massive amounts of liquidity to save the market. From a meltdown, why is this an issue, though, because obviously it creates a serious problem for retail investors and breaches a lot of those fair market rules and breaches a large amount of trust at first sight, their potential market manipulation may seem like a positive, because, obviously, What investor wants to lose money in the markets? But obviously it's not that simple, because there's always two sides for every trade. For some people, the market crashing might be a good thing, but in the case of amc and gamestop, the wider market crash is likely to cause the squeeze and also preventing the market from a crash.

Isn't necessarily a good thing if asset prices have just been pumped beyond belief over the last two years to an almost ridiculous, unsustainable level, and on top of that obviously there's the matter of deceit. Investors operate under the assumption that the u.s stock market is free, any manipulation if found results in a criminal investigation by the sec, but obviously, if the sec are the ones manipulating, the market or the market, manipulation works in their favor and they just ignore it. It's not really a free market and obviously the plunge protection team's job is to serve the market and not to serve investors. If the plunge protection team manipulate the stock market to create excessively high prices, they're not really serving the investors and they're just continuing to pump the market unrealistically, and this is why the plunge protection team is likely to step in either when the market crashes or when Omc and gamestop squeezes to overall protect the wider financial system and therefore it is likely they will cause a force settlement.
I suppose, at the end of the day, it does depend massively on what this force settlement price actually is. If the sec and the plunge protection team settle on a force settlement, value of say, ten thousand dollars per share, i think that'll be life-changing for most amc holders. But obviously, if the plunge protection team and the sec decide on a settlement value of only a hundred dollars per share, i think that will cause massive amounts of uproar. But obviously, as i said earlier, i don't work for the sec, nor for the planet, protection team and therefore i can't tell you the exact price of amc in which they'll step in, but even robin hood have said that they're in a strong position to face unlikely Market events and they've highlighted the steps they've taken to avoid imposing trading restrictions and said it was in a strong position to support customers through unlikely events and therefore it's likely that robin hood have actually made a deal with the plunge protection team.

In order to suspend trading on amc as a whole, and not just to suspend the buying of amc in robin hood alone, and therefore it's starting to seem ever more likely, there will actually be a full settlement of amc during the short squeeze guys be sure to Let me know down in the comments below what a full settlement means to you and whether you think the plunge protection team will give us a fair settlement price and, as always guys, if you enjoyed this video, be sure to check out some of my others. Alternatively, subscribe to the channel and bring that notification bell, because that way, you'll be alerted. When i upload a new video cheers.

  1. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Excaliber SC says:

If they do a settlement, you know it will not be a fair price. The government is over extended now. And even the insurance company does not have enough money to cover it. They will figure the outcome will be the same for them. There will be lawsuits, and people pulling out of the market either way. So in their mind might as well do it cheaper. And they know any suites that happen will take years to settle. So effectively kicking the can down the road.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Captain Obvious says:

It's the SEC fault because they didn't hold the hedge funds accountable

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Midwest Slots says:

A force settlement can be good and bad.
The good: it's locked in (amount unknown)
The bad: there's millions of fake shares out there, the forced settle needs to reflect that.

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Excaliber SC says:

I think if they do a forced settlement, Many people will pull out of the market forever. It will destroy the world confidence in the USA stock market. It will confirm that that Wall Street and the market is rigged, And there is no way for the little guy to ever get ahead. But the Hedge Funds and the Market Makers can do all kinds of illegal stuff and only get a slap on the hand for it. And they will protect the crooks who pay them by letting them stay in business and continue to rip the retail investor off. So tell me? Who is stupid enough to want to stay in a market like that?

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Amar says:

Why dont they just give us all10k per share and we call it a day so we can all bludy move on!!

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jose Vasquez says:

I just don't see why it's not running now if it's a given that the hedgie's are in fact, hold AMC down. What's fair is fair. AMC at the very least should be at fair value, don't you think Tom. πŸ€” Which is about $180 usd.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TheArgosReed says:

All I need to do is hold my shares. There is a reason the media bash AMC. There is a reason HFs pay people to post FUD. There is a reason brokers have been having "anomalies" with AMC price and purchasing. THEY NEED NEED NEED YOUR SHARES. Hold and win.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Ku says:

A forced settlement will not satisfy retail investors no matter what price they set. But the biggest problem will be the integrity of the US markets and to fix that many people would have to go to jail and companies would have to pay huge fines.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Thomas Ridenour says:

In plain English, if the "system..aka, the SEC, DTCC, Fed and US government" screw the retail investors it will kill the credibility of the entire US market. On top of this, the US brain trust obviously understands that there are many non-America share holders. It they force a low settlement it will kill the market and make raising capital formation impossible for the near and midterm future with the help of US and foreign investors. NO ONE will trust the market again. As for me, no matter what the MOASS payout comes, I will be biased 80/20 crypto to equities. I don't trust the bastards.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars KC Fly Fishing says:

They need to put a no shorting restriction on all meat stocks and force share to be covered and shut down the dark pool till this mess is cleaned up

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kevin Fuller says:

Another good video Thomas. I have no idea how they will actually settle this mess, but I have always believed the wall street elites would use some kind of malarkey to make sure most of the big boys survive. In 2008, Lehman Brothers was the sacrificial lamb. This time, it looks like Melvin is getting sacrificed (with golden parachutes, I'm sure). One thing I am 100% certain about: the financial system will NOT be allowed to crash and burn and regulators will sacrifice individual investors before destroying the banks, stock markets and the world economies. In 10 years… we'll be going through this all over again.

The PPT also needs to consider what their actions will do for public perception of the market. If other countries see AMC and GME apes getting screwed by lowball settlements (e.g. $10-90k per share), then they will likely think twice about trading on NYSE.

Because, if it happens to us, what prevents PPT from doing it to others in the future???

Lastly, anyone thinking four-digit settlements are acceptable….you are a clown. I didn't HODL for peanuts and neither should you!

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Ajero says:

Your numbers do not account for the fact that there are other stocks that have been shorted like GME, BBIG, MMAT, etc. Why do you think that AMC is the only stock that will cause a market crash? Why don’t you consider the other dozens of shorted stocks that will go up when the margin calls start?

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars cptriker1 says:

When they go to screw us in the open market they'll be telling the entire world that there's NO TRUST in this market. It will say that anytime (they) decide you are a threat to the elite it's game over.

1k is NOT life changing. Get real.

    Even 10k isn't life changing.

Remember fed and state is going to take a MINIMUM OF 42% of your money in taxes if still short.

When you figure taxes and such they've got to get to 20k MINIMUM.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The One says:

Do people realize Biden was trying to spend 7 trillion dollars with the build back better plan and the infrastructure bill. Where was that money coming from. We had the money then, we have the money now. The reality is the number of people in the play dont matter. If it hits 1,000 dollars and 2 people are in it or 1 million. They only need to cover a certain amount of shares. If u was hold all the shares and I wanted 10k a share or millions of people wanted 10k. It's not about the number of people it's the number of shares needed.

They have the money, how can we trust youtubers when yall went from 100k to 1 million to 100k to 10k to 1k a share.

We got here together, we must stay together. Do not sell for pennies and HOLD. 1k is nothing. We need atleast 5-10k. We won fair and square and remember the price is 13k a share. Where is all that money going if we sell at 1k a share.

13k a share is 6.6 trillion dollars but it's catastrophic if we hit 1 trillion. Get out of here. The fed prints that kind of money all the time

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars HarfTimer says:

Does this mean they just force sell? Or does it mean, that Gary Gensler drags Ken Griffin down to my house and tells us to make up?

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jae RN says:

So you mean to tell me the Hedgies and Market Makers can short this thing into oblivion and the SEC does nothing, but when we start to run up and its time to pay we get haults and forced settlements. WOW

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nino Brown says:

The distrust in the market and uproar this would cause will be tremendous! This is fud! If that happens the entire market would collapse. Nobody would ever invest again due to a forced settlement. Stop spreading fud sir!

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lamont McGee says:

I will only accept the amount of the settlement plus:
    Land and properties,
Unclaimed funds from seizures of drug lords,
Maximum social security for me and my wife for life,
Tax free completely for all properties and funds for five generations.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Calls Deep says:

So the SEC would intervene in trading when it's finally benefitting retail investors? Where was the SEC when numerous companies were shorted into nonexistence by their Wall St pals? I don't trust anything being fair that the govt comes up with.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Peter says:

Question, if they make a forced settlement. Will they then let it run first before the settlement?
As I see it, if they let is run first, they will need to make the highest settlement price, as no retailer will settle with amount lower then the highest price the stock ran to before the halt – or what do you think?

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Midway Inn says:

Its been said a forced settlement would just prove that the market is completely rigged and who would invest if they had final say on how much you got per shares after all the πŸ’© the hf have done through the last 100+ included crushing retail businesses in last 10 years fxck their settlement offers😑
