Traditionally, penny stocks are single digit stocks in the $1 to $9 price range. Traders tend to rush into trading these low-price stocks because they need less buying power, and can trade them with a smaller account.
It’s important for you to learn the “Rule of Ten.” Instead of trading a thousand shares of a $1 stock, you trade a hundred shares of a $10 stock. If you get a 10% or 20% move, you'll make the same dollar amount.
Use the power of StocksToTrade to scan for these stocks higher than $10 and know that you don't have to deal with the crazy volatility of the penny stocks. Trading the higher-priced stocks can help you learn those techniques, hone your skills and discipline. Then when you're good at taking a stop, when you're good at taking a profit, when you've refined your process, apply that to the low-priced stocks.

I'll start looking at higher priced stocks, if anything I'll have a couple on my watchlist that I may be able to make a play off of. Taking it day by day, right now for me it's finding my process and refining it to get consistently profitable.

If a stock has range and volume money can be made even with a couple hundred shares. Gains add up and cut those losers. Prepare, plan, patience, discipline. Stick to your rules as Kunal says “you chase you die”!! 🤓
