The British pound collapsed on Friday after the new UK Government announced major tax cuts in an emergency Budget.
The markets started to panic on Monday with high trading volatility and by Tuesday mortgage companies were halting new mortgages and UK treasuries saw the biggest yield hike in history.
So what's causing the drop and what does it mean for investors?

Dca into world index still the best thing to do in the long run, pound could recover 20% and markets go down another 20% would leave you 40% down though in the short term but the opposite could occur short term too, long term markets will go up with inflation and cash will fall behind.
Trading is risky unless you are close to lizz lol.
I intend to keep a larger than normal amount of emergency cash thoigh, 1 or even 2 years worth rather than the recommended 6 months.

So the IFS thinks the £2500 energy cap costs 100bil next year = £1500 per person, so in a free market, what would the actual price be for a family of four? £8500?!
Where do they get these numbers from ??🤔

<All cryptos communities should be uniting to combat the gov. They are much more dangerous than eth maxis, btc maxia, xrp maxis etc That being said, Trading went smooth for me as I was able to raise over 18BTC when I started at 7 BTC in just few weeks implementing trades with signals and insights from Michael Charles, I would advise y'all to trade your asset rather than hold for a future you aren't sure about.

The US have Tesla which will decimate legacy auto in coming years. The UK have wind expertise. Export that. Be the Tesla of wind (plan for 50% CAGR and don’t let any obstacle get in the way).

Way too late Sasha to tell everyone this.

One thing I'd say about the pound now is it kind of looks like it has a floor but no ceiling.
The Bank of England will probably heavily raise rates if it falls below the dollar to retain credibility, so it's not going much below that level; but it's possible it could recover to higher levels, especially if there's a government u-turn.

We are living in brexit Britain, the only country in the world to place economic sanctions on themselves. The people in government are stupid, the people who think they have a clue are also stupid.

We have amateurs in office. And, now they get a pension, too, that we get to pay for. Then, after Daggers has moved out, we get another sponger in No. 10.
