So why do i always talk about position, size and also reducing position size during uncertain times? I want to use right now. As an example, i just posted my profit on tqq. I had 14 000 shares and i reduced it to 7 000 shares. Why would i sell half of my position if the stock or the etf was in the green? Well, if the past five months have taught me anything is that we can never be so certain right.

The markets have been bearish and my job as of right now, because of the previous five bearish months is not to prepare for the best case scenario, but to at least anticipate the worst case scenario and what happened a couple hours ago. Well, the market began to pull on back and thankfully i sold half of my position because now i have a remaining 7 000 shares that i can buy more of and therefore i now get it at a discounted rate. The beautiful thing about managing your position size not just thinking that it's always going to go according to plan, but anticipating the worst case scenario.
