GameStop's (NYSE:GME) stock price fell more than 30% on Monday, as Robinhood and other trading platforms limited investors' ability to buy the video game retailer's shares.

This is the man controlling the poor for their rich buddies, why? because there are more of us than them and that can be dangerous like a slave uprising. also, that is what they think we are just wage slaves have no business operating in their playground unless it benefits them, as soon as it does not, they call in the economic bullies to keep us in line, laws are made for slaves not them. They can break so called laws because they are the ones that make them the rich always feed off the poor that is how the stay rich

I can't believe people actually believe GME stocks were gonna keep going uphill. It's obviously a media stunt similar to a pump and dump. I guess congrats to the winners and profits

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars R M H says:

Do you know what it means to buy the float. Float is 51million. GME. Those are the shares that are publicly available. When those shares get bought up, the price goes up. More ways a stock can go up.

If you can't buy the stock then who the hell did the sellers sell it to!? hmmmm…not suspicious at all.

These investment app are really trying to protect you dumb-monies from getting rekted in these WSB pump and dumps. If you all lose your money then they'll lose their business. They get paid if we trade.

You should never end a sentence with a preposition.

"…where it closed at." = Incorrect
    "…where it closed." = Correct

Isn't it pretty obvious it was gonna drop? Like the only thing holding it valuable was personal stocks, and of course people are gonna sell them at "peak".

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Matthew Badley says:

Dude volume did not increase, it massively increased. The sell off was real.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shura says:

I spent 1k during its £99 blow up and didnt cash out at 4k 🙁 Should I pull out now or hold. Only experienced investors comment as I've lost £300 BUT is it worth pulling out and just buying more at a lower price or will it actually blow over 400 again in like a month.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Logan Smith says:

I was in for 59 shares at $138 avg 2 weeks ago, that massive dip thursday triggered my stop loss at $130. watched my 26k profit turn to 5k profit and sell. that was my college paid for, feels bad :/

counterfeit stocks are seeming more and more likely. who was lending the stocks to the shorts? take a look. could it be blackrock? fidelity? did anyone here read the article on reddit?

Great video, the restrictions really screwed me over.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sam Miller says:

"crashed" is rather sensationalistic. How about "dropped"? Do you usually use clickbait-like titles instead of just putting a percentage in the title to let people make up their own minds instead of telling them what to think?

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars JimL says:

Pump and dump, and there will be more instances of these pumps. Kids are going to get schooled by these day traders on Wallstreetbets that are pumping the stocks.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Riegel says:

This video is just part of the r/wsb propaganda machine. Trying to continue to pump up the price so early investors can gain more profits (and continue this scheme with new stocks). The price is simply down because the short squeeze already occurred last week and because it's way overvalued, more expensive then many casual investors can afford to invest in. Limiting trading has had an impact, in making the inevitable happen sooner rather than later, but either way the stock already had its big move.

Ultimately, the value of GME wil depend upon its ability to generate a profit and positive cash flow. Having said that, GME is a bricks and morter business that does not have any competitive advantage or means of differentiation. Therefore, I cannot see how they can generate significant profits and the current price is unsustainable. I am not sure of a fair price, but it is certainly less than $100, and probably closer to $20. My guess, but I could be wrong!

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim AQ says:

GME short interest 112% as of 29. Jan. Dont listen to media. Got the numbers from nasdaq website

On Monday, investors were able to buy only 20 shares of GameStop, a total that included any shares they already owned. Let me know what you think about this!
