Here’s the thing: Until the next round of Stimulus comes through, or until it’s HEAVILY debated within the Senate, it’s unclear if we’re going to get anything. As excited as we get about proposals, it’s too premature to see what actually happens with them and if this actually becomes a reality.
At this time, it SEEMS like there’s still a strong likelihood of something passing…but, given the comments from the White House today, we have no idea what’s going to be done, or if people are going to be receiving another round of checks. I would NOT be surprised if another $1200 was re-issued, among some other state and local government funding…but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they took a “Wait and see” approach over the next month, and then re-evaluate what’s happening with our economy.
Either way, it leaves all of us somewhat in the dark, without any clear guidance on what to expect, or what’s likely to come from all of this - other than to continue reading new updates that just leave us more confused the longer we read them.
Everything we do will have a consequence later on down the line, and at this point - the best we can do is pick the option that we feel will do the least amount of damage long term. Even though that’s for the house, senate, and White House to debate…it IS apparent that, most likely, something will need to happen - and, until then, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
But, I’m still remaining cautiously optimistic that there’s a good chance of there being SOMETHING happening over the next month or so…although, who knows if it’s going to be as good as getting $2000 per month, tax free.

The whole handling of this economy, joblessness and small business situation has been a clusterduck. I have the lowest of confidence in our current govt. We're basically on our own with this "for the people" government. Might as well take out that 10th job people! I know I will be.
Really???? Where is the money coming from??? Use the good sense you were born with!!! If we are Not working, there is No money to give " away". Seriously, to continue ( or like me, never received yet. Live under poverty line. Receive no government assistance. Never have in my life) giving money to people is a recipe for diaster.
You need to support yourself to stay Free. Or take their money( which is worthless) and continue down the path of slavery. Each and everyone of you will be in true serfdom then ( slavery). With zero rights!!!!!
You have to be brave enough to free yourself. Break the chains. Stop giving up your rights for the illusion of security and protection. Stand with us and just say NO to the tyranny that is about to swallow the world. They can't fight and win against everyone. We already know they have no qualms about printing trillions of dollars, and we know that the majority of that money didn't go to the people. Let's not pretend they're just trying to do what's best for the common person.

Well I feel that if they don't sign another bill an decided it to reopen the businesses the people not going to spend any money . If they do sign another bill of stimulus package an people get $2,000 until this corona virus clear up is the chance that people can bring the business back so this way economy can be successful an hire people to work period . You can't incentivise employees to go back to work and businesses to open if their state government WON'T LET THEM. That's the problem.
The payroll tax cut would be great…if people were ABLE TO GO BACK TO WORK. Many of us aren't because of indefinite closures. Trump needs to let the big boys work and just sit back and wait
If you're going to say over the age of 16, there should be stipulations that they are the primary financial factor in their household. If there's kids who work 10 hours a week doing non-essential jobs who live with their parents, no.
If the Treasury doesn't buy bonds, they can produce trillions of dollars without adding to the national debt. They do that anyway, on a constant basis. If they buy produced bonds, it's called quantitative easing. That money does not go to the public, but rather to banks, and affects interest rates, etc.
