So on this channel we talk a lot about credit cards and personal finance, but every once in a while. We do something interesting where we talk about what's inside of our wallet now i think it's been over a year since i last made a what's in my wallet, update video and a couple. Things have changed within my setup, so in this video we're going to be going over what my wallet is some advantages and disadvantages of the wallet itself and we're going to be talking also about the contents of what is in here and what i like about it And some of the cards that i also recommend to you guys to add to your own wallet. So before we get started with this video, i have one big favor to ask.

Let's just get straight into this video. So one of the reasons why i chose this wallet was just because one it was unique and two. It held a lot more cards than some of my other wallets. As you can see, this thing has a ton of different pockets.

It has like this unique triangle thing where you can put a card in here cash in here, and then you can put some more cards back here. You could also put some more cards in this other column and you can put cards back here and you have about four different slots where you can also squeeze a couple different cards. This has been a great wallet to me. I would say the main advantage is because it's a little bit more bulky than your average wallet you're, definitely going to notice it.

So if you do lose it or it falls out of your pocket, i know instantly if it's gone, just because of the weight and how heavy it is. You definitely don't want to put a bulky wallet like this in your back pocket you're gon na get like instant scoliosis or something, if you do that, so i just always manage to keep this in the front of my pocket. I don't lose it. I know where it is so this pocket organizer has been great for me.

I do plan on getting another card holder, i'm not sure which one yet, if you guys have any suggestions or recommendations of your favorite ones. Let me know down below in the comments now. Other than the features, let's actually talk about the contents of what i keep in my wallet, so here we go. I have the american express gold card right here.

This is my daily driver. If i go out and i'm eating out and it's not a business meal or business expense, i will oftentimes use my gold card without any excuse. So the next card in my list is going to be the american express business platinum card, an amazing card, but the only times i primarily use this is, if i'm trying to separate my personal and business expenses just so, it makes it easier for my accountant and Bookkeeper at the end of the year, if i'm purchasing a camera lens, if i'm purchasing, um studio, equipment or or i don't know just anything related to the business, i will put it on the business platinum card just to make it easier. I know that i could definitely be making better use of my points.

I could be getting the freedom cash back category depending on what month it is. I could be finding other promotions, but when it comes to organizing my finances, i value that a lot more than getting a couple extra percentage of cash back points, and on top of that, the american express cards offer some of the best purchase protection and extended warranty Out of all the cards in my wallet, so i will put that on my most expensive annual fee card, the business platinum, i know i'm covered. I know it's easy to track and it's just a reliable card. The next card in my wallet is gon na, be the chase freedom flex card, so i've already hit the welcome bonus for the chase freedom flex card over this past black friday.

Cyber monday weekend i bought a lot of things i used paypal. I got my five percent. I got the additional welcome bonus, so it's been a great card. Another time i find myself using the chase freedom flex card is, if i'm at the grocery store, if i don't want to use my gold card for whatever reason i know the flex card is giving me a higher cash back percentage and with this card right here, I was approved for a 12 000 credit limit, so i'm not too worried about utilization at all, but this is the card that i use when i get gas groceries or anything that doesn't accept american express.

So the american express platinum card is the next card. In my wallet, one of my favorite cards, like i've, mentioned on this channel they're sitting right on the top of the throne, with the chase of freedom flex and the american express gold card, the platinum card, it's a solid card right now. I don't know what else to say other than that i use it a lot for those free credits that they've added for this year, but other than that, if there's a travel expense that i have, if i'm taking the flight somewhere or i'm getting a hotel booked, It's usually gon na be on the platinum card and i keep it in my wallet for that reason. Now guys that was a video talking about.

What's in my wallet, i'm curious to hear what you guys keep in your wallet as well, so comment down below what your top three or four cards for this year is moving into 2021. I personally believe that my wallet might look a little different, a couple things. I'm looking to change is american, express, i hope, one day, they're gon na release that card that is in between the platinum and the centurion, so american express was rumored to release a card. That's much better than the platinum card.

It's gon na be more expensive to hold, but i would love to get rid of one of the two platinums i have in order to get that higher tier card. If that happens, i could see a switch happening in my wallet right there, but as of now, this is generally the setup that i'm gon na have. If i do go to any co-branded hotels, i will use that card and throw it in my wallet instead. So if i stay at a hyatt resort, i'm gon na put the world of hyatt card in there.

If i stay at a marriott resort, i'm gon na put the bon voy card in there. Although the platinum card gives me actually a higher status than some of those dedicated cards, i do have other rewards with them that i would just feel more comfortable with carrying in my wallet, if you guys are interested at all in learning more about some of those Cards watch some of my other videos on this channel check out the links down below in the description.
