Hey, what's going on? Team: A quick market update Overall: NASDAQ Market is up 1.1% Tqqq is up 3.4% on the day and this is after or following. uh, what's to come this week with big Tech earnings. So one of the biggest Tech compan is reporting earnings this week I Guess it's kind of an automotive but kind of. Also, Tech uh is Tesla Tesla is going to be reporting earnings this Wednesday if I'm not mistaken.
On the 18th of October after the market closes, a lot of you guys have been able to see that for the past couple of weeks. Tesla's pretty much just been trading sideways resistance right around the 285 support right around the 230. So we'll see if once it actually does report earnings if we see more of a clear direction, making you highs or pulling on back. but again, even if it does end up selling off I Think that's one thing that I'm very excited for is just to uh see a new dip by opportunity for Tesla maybe at a cheaper price lwi I Would love to buy more with where we're at right now.
Uh, when looking at uh, Tqqq? uh, looking at this on the little bit closer of a time frame I Do want to remind you guys that we have a very common resistance range right around the 375 and a very common support range right around 355. So it looks like today we are bouncing back from its performance on Friday and going back to retest right around 372 to 375. Um. I Ended up closing out my position on Tqqq here.
as you could see, this was a position that I carried over I don't know if you saw but on Friday of last week I made 20K on Tqqq. uh I reduced my position size but then it pulled on back and I gave back about 5,000 today I made it um all back and I'm up 18,000 on the day. So now I did my part and completely closing out the trade. As you can see, I left myself with my one lucky share.
uh I ended up selling pretty early I called it out with my Lpp team in the trade ideas and it was just making sure that I was aware that I'm respecting um, this like recent uh setup that it has going on for uh, Tqqq, right? we we have seen it struggle for the past couple of days. It looks like Market still still very sideways um and very choppy following the CPI data report from last week and I do want to remind you with big Tech reporting earnings as even just Tesla right? the market could be up today, but by Wednesday depending on what Tesla reports, it can set the expectation for future earnings. that's to come next week. That again, they just factor in expect ations right away.
So I'll make sure that I do my part in keeping you guys up to date as of right now. When looking at recent patterns, I see NASDAQ to be more on the overbought side then oversold based off of that resistance at 372 so just choosing to play it safe. that's why I sold it. We're traveling back to Arizona today and extended to resume back to our normal daily live trading sessions which will begin tomorrow right at Market Open.
