US stocks lost momentum on Wednesday, as investors assessed hotter-than-expected wholesale inflation data and looked to Federal Reserve minutes for a window into policymakers' thinking on interest rates.

I Know I can't be the only one that just was really scratching their head and confused on why the NASDAQ Market was going up when the PPI report came out worse than what was expected. For those that are unaware, let me go Ahad and break this down for you I Really hope that you learned something new. If so, please consider dropping a thumbs up and subscribing if you feel like we earned it. I Do want to remind you that tomorrow 1 hour before the Market opens, it's going to be the CPI data report which is the inflation report.

On the consumer side, I will be hosting a free live stream on this YouTube channel. All I ask you to do is get this video to over 1,000 likes and again I'll be going live 10 minutes before the actual CPI data report. So I hope to see you there. Let me go ahead and show you guys exactly where I'm at for the day.

So my Tqqq position I closed it out, left myself with my one lucky share. Uh, I did a really nice trade on the rip up I Originally took a bad trade and then um, you know as it began to consolidate and form signs of a reversal I added more to it, stepped on the gas, it completely popped off. Went back to retest previous highs and then we were reduced our position. Then it became overbought.

Again, not rocket science. It was retesting previous resistance levels when looking at Sqqq right? This one goes up when the NASDAQ Market goes down. So it made sense. NASDAQ Market was beginning to pull on back when this thing began to sell off.

I began to add a little bit to Sqq making money on the way up. I Didn't go in as aggressive on Sqqq because again, Market was showing signs of it being bullish. I was just so confused. Um, sometimes the market is like this where news continues to come out.

Uh, different economic reports that are bad and yet the market reacts in a positive way. but like people were like, no, like this isn't too bad for the market if you look when the report was actually released right. For those that are unaware, there is a PPI report that was released today. This is, um, an inflation report on the producing set of things PPI and PPI Core.

It came out worse and higher than what was expected. This is showing that inflation is higher than what was expected on the producing side of things. Inflation on the producing side of things always gets passed down to the consumer. It's a forecast, that's how we use it right? Both came out higher, not just for overall, but core.

CP Uh, Core PPI as well. Yet, the market sold off as it should have, right? It's a bad report and then all of a sudden it begins to recover and then right at Market open it begins to take off. It was in a sense, almost like a trap, right? It didn't make any sense To me. Um, it it gapped up.

I'm glad that we during our live trading session. uh I waited for proper confirmation. I was about to jump into Tqqq but very glad I waited. It began to pull on back, it sold off and then it began to trade sideways.
It went back to retest and then when I really began to slow down is looking at this on the 5 minute time frame? it was very easy to see. On the pullback, we began to consolidate at the moving average, we broke above EMA. Then again, that's when it really began to show signs of progress. On the upside, went back to retest, locked in profits.

Very simple trade. There, we broke below the moving average here, right? We're um, overbought. So I opened the Sqqq trade based off previous highs, added more to it. Then we broke below the moving average, added more to it, and um, yeah, that's where I'm at.

So 4,000 on Sqqq, um 5,900 on Tqq. It's my first trades, uh for the overall week and uh I just I've been really scratching my head right because this. This doesn't make sense on why the Market's reacting that way. but I know the Market's been like this before where it almost right after every economic report.

It literally almost doesn't matter it, um just finds any reason to continue to go up and at the end of it right? I can have my opinions. We can have our expectations. You can have your opinions, Analysts can have their opinions. but guess what? The only thing that actually matters is Market Direction right? And that's why I didn't want to over complicate it, didn't want to put my emotions into it I just went with the flow, waited for direction to be favorable and then stepped on the gas when Direction was.

and then I locked in profits at overbought levels or at previous highs. So I kept my trading very simple today. I Really enjoyed my little session with the Lpp team. I Do want to remind you I trade live with them every single morning again.

Those reports don't control the market, they only show current data about the market.

I've come to the conclusion myself that they probably hope high inflation puts pressure on the fed to ease in some sort of way.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jeff Nix says:

Typical for fed leveraged Market manipulation. It's the FED tradedesk protecting the market against actual declines that would happen for the market not artificially propped up

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Larry Morton says:

the plunge protection team is all over these markets. pumping and dumping. makin millions if not billions for the fed, pumping and sucking in the retail investor. then dumping.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars short bus rob says:

Could this be because the market priced in this weeks ago. This report is for the month of September.

The market Is pricing in CPI data. If markets tanked because of PPI technically on the daily charts it wouldn't make sense to price in CPI data the next day. RICKY GIVE me $100 for more signals

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sir, says:

I traded this a.m. just looking at the premarket trend, then the past week trend.

, bought in 28k worth tqqq about 10-15 mins before open, then sold on the 1st spike up. Sketchy for $150 earnings but Ricky trades with 500k?

Does anyone get it yet. No society has ever been "taxed into prosperity" and likewise no economy has ever been "interest raised into prosperity" either. Every analysts you'll talk with will tell you this does not help the middle class. It is making banks rich and killing the middle class.
