Hey, what's going on team? It's working with Techbook Solutions Hope that you guys are all having a great Friday Just wanted to provide you guys with a quick little update. Sorry for the delay. Uh, as you can tell, I'm a little under the weather, but uh, very quickly I'm gonna start sharing my screen and talking about uh, what exactly happened today. So on the one minute time frame, we could see that one hour before the market opened NASDAQ Market was actually in the green and then we saw a quick change of Direction Uh, We did begin to see slight signs of our recovery nearly back to previous highs from pre-market session and then we quickly gave it all back and ended up literally.
uh, right back at where we were during that pre-market session. It really doesn't surprise me. there's just a lot of cell and pressure I'd like to call it headline momentum. There's a lot of selling pressure due to the idea of, you know, we were on track for one of the worst weeks in September of 2022.
It's fine, it's just one, you know one day and and the PPI report isn't super significant in the sense of how the market reacts to it. And as you can tell, although we did drop, uh, we went from up two percent on the day Dad to down two percent on the day, so it was about a four percent move. Uh, for those that are unaware, there's a PPI report that came out one hour before the market opened that is the producer. Price Index Market expectation for this PPI report which is the inflation on the producing side of things.
Expectation was 0.2 the prior was 0.3 and the actual was 0.3 So it actually wasn't off by much. Uh, we did see a little bit of a higher rate of inflation increase uh, than expected, but it wasn't anything that was. you know, um, like out of left field right? So PPI report. Which means that inflation is a little bit higher on the producing set of things for producers in the United States not necessarily for consumers in the United States Uh, for the next week, we do have this up and coming.
CPI Data Report: I Just want you guys to know the date so you can mark it down in your calendars I Know some of you guys don't watch all of our videos, so if you watch this one I Just hope that we can guide you in the right direction. So this is that CPI data report known as the inflation report. It's going to be the most significant, one of the most significant, um kind of events for next week. It's going to be on the 13th of December Which means on Tuesday of next week, this is one hour before the Market opens.
So literally Tuesday one hour before the Market opens, you're gonna see the market reacting. They're in a very positive way or a very negative way. This is going to be a very detrimental like uh report, right? Because the day after that we have the Federal Reserve and their FMC minutes meeting on the 14th of December and this is when Jerome Powell had who's the head of the Federal Reserve will be coming and announcing the interest rate hike right? It's to be expected based off of his last Beach that they were considering point five percent. But because of these inflation reports coming in hotter than expected Again, I Just because they're they're coming in hotter than expected. It's not out of the question that they can continue to report a 0.75 interest rate. Just so so those that are unaware or don't know what to expect if the if the Federal Reserve announces a 0.75 interest rate hike, the market will most likely sell off. If the Federal Reserve announces a 0.5 interest rate hike, the market will most likely react in a positive way. Remember we want the Federal Reserve to begin to slow down and we want that CPI data report uh to also come in lower than expected our current inflation rate 7.7 percent.
I'll make a video a little bit more about this if you have any questions and I mean this: If you have any questions about inflation, the up-and-coming inflation reports the Federal Reserve interest rate hike ask me down in the comment section I'm going to be making videos over this weekend. Um, and I want to answer every question you have. My my goal is for someone that's just getting started. for you to be more prepared for this CPI data report and for this interest rate hike than you ever have.
It's not that you're going to make a ton of money. it's not that you need to trade, it's not what it's about, right? I Just want you to be aware of if this happens, how does the market react if this is reported, how's the market reaction? If you have any questions, shoot me either a direct message via Discord or just comment down below and I would be more than happy to make that video for you guys. I'm just going to be catching up on some rest. Hi Ricky. Thanks for the videos. I always appreciate the knowledge.
What is your plan to play the CPI report day? Are you concerned that Market Open 1 hour later will change momentum or do you believe momentum will remain strong and carry in one direction as it did when JP spoke last week?
Thank you for your time.
New and learning Here, love the content. 🍻
Dude tell your thumbnail guru to chill on the fear mongering FUD titles. Been at it for months. Beyond old
Thought you didn't get sick?😆
My Gosh, Ricky! You're so Awesome. Please do take it easy, and get some rest, my friend. I hope you, and your family has a speedy recovery. Prayers. God bless.
When would be the best time to start investing (properties and stocks), before inflation, during inflation or after inflation?
What’s the main difference between CPI and PCE, 🙏
Hey Ricky,
Is it likely for the CPI move and FOMC minutes to move to be in the same direction?
get well soon!
Someone said the market will not rally until the fed lowers rates is this true Ricky.
Hang in there Ricky!
Where can I find the inflation reports
May You Get well ASAP and thanks for the game
To break down fever you could do every 3hrs Tylenol 3hr Motrin if fever last more than 5 days you may need antibiotics I had it 2 weeks ago here in surprise.
I know you are sick, but your hair looks great!
Get well, buddy
Okay here are my questions.
I understand that inflation is the rise in ' price ' of the dollar compared to other asses, commodities, and food/services. Also that the fed is trying to fight this inflation by hiking interest rates.
1. Hiking interest rates have what affect on the dollar/dxy, and why ?
2. If we come higher than expected or lower than expected, what impact will that have on the dollar ?
3. What affect does a high dollar have on the market ?
4. What role do bonds serve in this whole equation ?
5. What do you think will happen in the coming days ?
I think a general re-cap of the last couple of months would be helpful for anyone just getting into this world myself included. I've been doing a bunch of research but am having trouble putting all the ideas together in a way that they all sit nicely and interact with each other.
I definitely think it will be .75% again, none of the reports have been good enough to look at it from the FED's point of view
Feel better, thank you much for the update!
Get some rest and get well soon bud.
Have a good weekend.
Thanks!👍
Who are these people that sell for every little thing? How do they make any money selling low and buying high?
You’re a trooper, Ricky! Thank you, now get some rest
RSV only typically affects kids, dude has flu
Even with the fluctuation in the economy, I’m so excited I’ve been earning $45,000 from my $10,000 investment every10days. kudos to JOSEFTRADE
Jesus ur voice crack lol
🐲
thanks buddy, take care! Could you reflect on each of the CPI basket components please?
What do you see for the following week after these reports and Fed moves are digested?
