Hey this is tom and welcome to a daily dose of the insanity. That is the stock market right now, and as always, i just ask of one thing: please don't click nothing, don't smash! Nothing! Keep your hands inside through the duration of the video. Just your attention. That's the only thing i need: let's get started with the first 30.

Second bottom line recap because i know not all of you have time to watch the entire freaking video. So, let's start the recap, those of you who want to stay for the full video more than welcome so quentin tarantino, getting bullied by miramax over his own nfts, lucid hella, expensive, according to morgan stanley. Also, morgan stanley, talking about the stocks that they think they're going to be strong in the 8 trillion market. That is the new metaverse.

I think it's a little bit of i'll explain a second, why alibaba missing revenues and profits completely crashing down? Also, we have some news about rivien and how their success is correlated with tesla and, of course, we can't forget evergrand, evergrand long time no see is crashing down as they're, making their final fire slash garage sale, trying to salvage whatever they can ain't going to make It let's get started right away. So, first of all, let's talk about quentin tarantino and the whole nft lawsuit with miramax issue. Miramax is suing quentin tarantino over his desire to sell certain nfts regarding to the film pulp fiction. Those of you who are too young to ever see this movie.

I think it's safe to say that 27 years after the movie really aged well, you can definitely watch it today and not miss the heartbeat one of the best movies ever made so quentin tarantino is actually selling some handwritten scripts for the film with his own commentary. As non-fungible tokens, nfts early scripts uncut scenes stuff he's going to talk about on audio and the only person who gets to see the whole thing is the purchaser. However, the party pooper is in the story is miramax, who all of a sudden remember. They can make more money from this movie, even though it's been 27 years by filing a lawsuit over something, that's completely not theirs.

This is early scripts and also not even the script itself mainly what's being sold here is the commentary or the rather the personal commentator of quentin tarantino over these pages. It has nothing to do with the movie they're filing this lawsuit. You know out of pure greed. Just to basically block any future director from getting this done, i think it's a very important lawsuit, not for quentin tarantino, because there's you know a lot of money.

He doesn't really need these. I think it's a precedent that needs to be set who owns their intellectual rights to commentate on scripts and sell it as nfts. Obviously, the studios want it. That's why miramax is suing they want to set the precedent, and i think it's really important that they actually take it through the full course.

I don't think it's a good idea for them to settle if i'm quentin tarantino - and i know this guy really cares about his legacy and his movies and the stuff he's doing. I think he doesn't settle. I think he takes him to court. I think he actually wins, and i think he sets the precedent that directors own the and can sell nfts.
My own opinion might be an accurate, might be wrong, might be reminiscent of a madman, but that's what i think you doing. Research find it for yourself. Now, let's move on to the second item in the news: morgan stanley and the converted, born-again tesla fan adam jonas - is talking about the target price for lucid, which is according to him 16, which is 70 down from the current price. I mean this stock went 130 up in the month and i think adam jonas is actually speaking my language.

The problem with lucid is not the car i, the car, actually seems very decent. The price might be a little bit steep, but a good product. The problem is that they got a scale to justify this price, and scaling is obviously the most important and most difficult process of getting a car out there just ask elon and how he almost went bankrupt, trying to get it done. While doing this, as adam mentioned, through a chip and logistical chain supply issues that are going to make it really a hell for them to scale, so it's going to be a real challenge for the next two to three years, not rather building the prototype.

But more about getting this car in a mass production scale. So let's see what happens with that and of course we got to talk about evergrand, actually making a fire sale selling one of the biggest assets they have 273 million for the film and the streaming company. Hington, i know the sound of the name might be weird, but in china this is a pretty big company, with some really good ip that sells really well they're selling it for 270 million dollars 24 below the market price. This is literally the definition of desperate selling to try and save themselves.

The problem is even if they get this money, they're not generating any cash flow. They ain't got no projects, they ain't get no prospects. They ain't got no future. So this is pretty much a postponement in what is to come, which is inevitably the crash and collapse of evergrand.

So this is just a postponement, and the market actually agrees with me about six percent down in pre-market, there's no future to ever ground. There's just another stay of execution so to speak. I wouldn't bet my money on this company. If my life depended on it and speaking about companies, i wouldn't come close to.

Let's talk about alibaba and actually with alibaba, it's not their fault. The company is actually great. The problem is china, so what happened with alibaba alibaba reported some abysmal, abysmal, quarterlies whoo eleven point two dollars per share, which is one point. Two dollar miss oh head stuff, i'm looking at numbers right now down 38 from the previous quarter.
Guidance is down from about 28 and a half percent for next year, growth only to 20 to 23.. That's a big shift, but the problem is that i think that a lot of people are going to misinterpret this and not a fan of chinese companies. But let's be real: alibaba is a good company, they're really solid. They still grew 30 quarter of a quarter.

They still provided a lot of revenue, so a 30 growth at a 15 x. Multiple, that's not a bad deal. If it's outside china, the problem is the location like every good realtor says, location, location, location, a great company in a really shitty location is what makes it impossible for me to come near this now. There probably will have a really good q4 with singles day, and you know christmas coming up and all that good stuff and they will probably bounce back, but over the long term.

I can't see china staying away from this company and just letting it do its thing. That's why i'm never investing in chinese companies and since we haven't spoken about the metaverse in like 15 minutes, let's get to it. Morgan stanley came out with a really interesting report, talking about what's the size of the market, potentially they're, looking at an 8 trillion dollar market for the metaverse in just a few years, and the companies they see taking over are companies you already know about, which is The f part in this whole story. Basically, we have roblox facebook, sorry mera.

We have unity, snap and google, with the exception of snap. All of these are pretty much. You know, fang of fang equivalent companies like massively big cap companies. Everybody already knows about this is the sort of report that comes out of morgan stanley.

Basically me saying: well, no sherlock, i mean find me something a little bit more with upside. I mean all these companies are definitely competitors and the next metaverse. In fact, i like roblox, even better than mera, whatever their name now is, but this is not news. I mean this is not why people pay morgan stanley to do research and for the final story of the day.

Let's talk about reviewing and how the rivian story really shows how much people appreciate what tesla has done in the past few years now event, even though they already pull back 20 since yesterday are still flying on top of the everest people are pouring money into them. Like steph curry draining threes, it's pretty insane. I think the main reason is because people really were impressed with what tesla did, even though 99 of them didn't put money in tesla because they didn't believe originally and now they've seen it happening. They ain't about to miss the second coming of tesla, which is basically what's going on here.

The problem is that, even though the riven is probably the best candidate ever since you know, we had tesla to basically recreate the success. I think it's more of a grant hill than the lebron james. If you understand my analogy who was about to inherit michael jordan, i think they definitely are a good candidate, especially with the amazon backing, especially with the fact they put trucks on the road, unlike nikola. Unlike lordstown motors, they have a product that works, that people love getting rave reviews about the truck it's on the road they're, making it they're producing it.
Amazon is their jeff bezos they're pre-orders from amazon, 100 000 vehicles plus the money to so they have everything in place. The main problem is that they're facing the same risks that tesla faced the countlet - i don't know if you say the countless in english. Probably you say gauntlet, but it is what it is: i'm russian, the gauntlet that is scaling production and even though tesla made it through there's no guarantee that, even with all this money from amazon, they can still pull through. It's a huge question mark and betting.

This insane money on them right now at this price just doesn't make sense to me. I want to sit on the sideline and see a little bit more from reviewing before i put my money into it, but then again, hey it's a great company with a great product. They do have a shot, but i mean at this point it's a little bit of a scratching a lottery ticket. I'd rather put my mind in a little bit more probable projects and, as always, a huge shout out to the channel members and the patrons.

Thank you. So much for your support on the screen right now, you're seeing yesterday's video, which you can watch if you missed it or the subscribe link, which you are not allowed to click see you later.

Now, one can argue about which approach to take in treating your employees will be most successful, and Elon is currently the richest person in the world, so you’d have to say that his isn’t wrong. But you could also say that that isn’t the only thing that matters, and there’s something to be said for treating your employees like humans.

Lucid actually hasn't done anything wrong to date, tho. They have so far delivered on every promise. They are legitimate. I don't think anybody expects them to actually fail. Their stock is currently caught up in the swing trade cycle, tho, and will probably stay there until they successfully scale and break past the day traders. But even with that, at the end of the day their stock is seeing steady growth week to week. Those peaks and valleys just make it look different. Rivian on the other hand…..good luck getting truck guys to change brands. And if you don't understand that, then you don't know anything about truck guys.

I’m glad to hear your opinion about Rivian, I share that exact same opinion. I’m hoping after the Q4 report, reality will set in for some people and it will pull back. I’m willing to scratch this lottery ticket at $50 a share, but not 120.

I have 7 puts sold on Rivian for 110 strike and not going to directly buy this stock. The next Tesla will never be this company. It could very well be Apple as they are working secretly on their car and I stopped trading and selling calls and keeping a large investment now in Apple. They just announced the car today.

The U.S. government takes politically motivated actions against companies as well, they just do it another way. But as an investor you need to ask yourself, what are the ten biggest companies in the world, and where are they located? Then ask why it shakes out this way.

Tom you should probably do a video on the fact youtubers have pumped lucid for the past 2 months as it's run up and now all these long terms investors, people who preach to hodl to the death have sold their shares, then when people are like wtf they say ohh of course I sold its run up heaps and there's alot of problems with the company.

It's like hang on a sec didn't you just pump this thing for months, isn't your hole channel built around being a long term investor, hodling to the moon?

These guys are worse than people who pump shiba and doge, because at least EVERYONE knows putting your money into shiba token is like playing the pokies and the youtubers state as much, but people have invested into companies because these youtubers state how great these companies are to hold onto for 5-10 years then they sell as soon as there's a run up, morally this is a million times worse.

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars HR Hamada says:

I think VERY positively about Rivian.
But the IPO was WAY overpriced and it's price (and that of many other ev companies) since then was driven more by the success of Tesla. Once the price reflects it's actual market value, I WILL buy. But now, heck no

And I agree with Tom's view of Lucid. I think it's a very nice car. But getting it to scale is difficult. And that difficulty is not priced into the price of Lucid stock

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Jesus says:

I agree with you on never investing in chinese companies. Lucid will succeed thou. They are overpriced atm but I'm holding for the long run, truly believe in the quality and thec of the cars.

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Saablives says:
