I'm looking forward for cleaner, less choppier charts yeah in otc, mainly and definitely not like i'll us and cvybl, but maybe they do hold up and later uh, maybe next month or they can just like reset up and just hold, and maybe that breakout would be better Going into the hotter months, but right now, just um try to be as like, consistent as possible and then get ready for when it is, but just showing up like consistently is kind of like my main goal. Just to like gain the most experience that i can for when it does get hot again, but if not just making sure that, like i recognize what is up guys uh twist, we are back. It's been at least a month, if not two, we were just talking about this um, as you can see, matt's not here matt doesn't want to hang out with the cool kids anymore. Mariana is stepping up the plate way better anyways, um.

Sorry, matt, sorry to see you go, but it is us three now permanently um, which is even better because, like we're all moderators in the breakouts and breakdowns chat, room um, it's just gon na be a better. You know view into what we do in the chat room every day um, but we're gon na keep it the same. We're gon na keep it twist just basic uh market environment breakdown. What we're seeing what the trades we're taking! What we like to see going forward in the market um, so we're gon na we're gon na get back to it.

You know the market's gon na hopefully start speeding up in the last quarter of the year. I know we can talk about this, how the market? Generally, in the winter time, we're very excited: it's definitely a more uh busy time for us as traders, especially for us otc traders, which we all primarily are um. So let's just run right through it jack. What do you you know? What have you been doing? The last two months - i know we saw each other in italy, but like uh, you definitely took a break and you're.

I think you're back to really start grinding it out if i'm not mistaken yeah for me personally, my smallest two months have been this month in august uh, not too much relative to the amount that i made this year. I think i hardly locked anything in in august and this month i'm up just a little bit more than that. It's been a little bit difficult in the summer months, but it was as expected. I'm you know pretty much five years in now, and i know that summer time is really slow, so it was as expected.

I wasn't expecting to have crazy action, but as it becomes october november december january february, that's when i think there'll be some better action. That's what i'm hoping for at least. Actually i mentioned that on my instagram post. If you guys saw that that you know now, it's really time to start trying a little bit harder as the more volume and volatility is likely to come into penny stocks.

And so far we have seen a few decent runners, ious and cei ceis, really cool, because there's a ton of ton of volume on it and it is pretty much a pump and dump and it's one of the worst tickers in the nasdaq market. So it's just really incredible to see that it traded 700 million shares today at around three bucks. So that's a ton of money being traded in a pump and dump kind of crappy ticker. So it's nice to see for momentum moving forward totally uh before you go mariana.
Are you wearing a jack? Are you wearing your instagram post there you got it on no uh, he doesn't have it on darn it all right! Well, mario, what are you thinking? What are you seeing how's your past couple months been so for me definitely august. It was my first ever red month and now, coming into this month, i'm actually up a little bit older than that, but basically in between both i have been break even emotionally, because i have been making like silly mistakes, and this is actually my first summer that I have kind of known what i've been doing. I started in 2019 and then june of 2020 was actually when i crossed pdt, so this month has been like this whole summer. It has been a new experience for me and getting to know the market and what it is like during the summer, because i came from like us, uh a very hot market around the winter months.

So now getting used to, it has been different and maybe it's a little bit choppier a little bit less volume, so it like i've been prone to make a lot um silly mistakes and that's been how both of these months have been yeah. I couldn't agree more. You know, like you, said marian you weren't around for 2016, but me and jack were or sorry not. 2016 2019.

I mean that's when you were. You was just starting or just learning um, but yeah this the last august and september. I mean it really reminded me of 2019 2018 was worse um, but it was it gave resemblance and it showed for for me to august uh. I don't even remember what i made in august, but it wasn't a lot.

I got ta go to my excel here. Um, i guess i shouldn't say a lot disclaimer, it's it's! It's 34 000, which is great yeah. I know, but in comparison to my previous months, um, certainly the lowest month of the year um augur in september. I am above that about like 48 000.

So it's good to see, i am still you know, holding green um, but i agree like just choppier uh setups just aren't working. My win rate's been lower um, even this month, where we've we've seen some pickup um like ilus or like uh, fern or cybl they're working, and they they go um but they're. Just still different, like i still haven't, executed as well as i want to, especially on ilus. I think i'm right on that ticker for the month so and i'm actually thinking i'm mostly right on otc's uh majority of my my win or my.

I think all my gains this month are from listed, which is not usually something you see from me um, but let's jump right in. Let's go to the charts here. Let me share my screen. Um i'll go over i'll just run through each one like shortly, and then we all can because i think we all have something to say which each one of these stickers we all traded differently but ious, like i said, i've just been reading this ticker um.
You know, i think i made a little bit of money on this breakout and then, after that i mean the rest was history i sold way too early um tried shorting on this first red day and absolutely butchered it ended up paying. I think i think more than half of my loss, uh was in commissions, so back in this red day. Here i think yeah we got, i think i know i know i remember talking to you jack on this day, where you covered and i covered shortly after thinking it was going to squeeze even higher um again half my loss was in fees. I think i only lost like 2500 on the loss, but i think i paid upwards of 2500 to 3, 000 and just just commissions, because i was shorting.

Cobra fees were super expensive um and i ended up re-shorting some more. But at that point i had lesser size. The damage has already been done and i made a little bit of money back, but i missed this main panic and i ended up red on the trade. The whole short thesis here, which is really frustrating um, then came the long trade to kind of think.

Like you know, it came back so strongly. It should break out again, and everyone was thinking like if breaks 40, those low 40s. It should go to like 50 or 60 or 70 like we should get this huge. You know tsnp hmbl, you know kind of um shmp back in what is the 2019 um some huge massive run again uh to excite like this market and bring the otcs back um and it just didn't happen.

It was super choppy every day, um yeah. You could have swung it and maybe took it from you, know the 30s into the low 40s or mid 40s, but um. That's not my style, and so i pretty much lost money trying to long this thing i think every other day at least um lost. Like 300 bucks on it today, taking it overnight from yesterday, so that's ios.

For me, i don't know if you guys have uh how you guys have been trading it, but it's definitely been. I'm hoping it just ends, and i don't have to see it ever again, because i just haven't: haven't traded well, um i'll us. I think that that was like one of like the main breakouts that i've ever had on watch and also one of the ones that i've traded the most because i've been trading, the breakout not really from the beginning, but mostly towards the end when it started to Hold around thursday friday. So that's when i started to kind of get the get the breakout thesis going because it held for almost three days.

It consolidated also right below the right below the breakout. So i thought that it had great potential and mostly like the friday, was the day that i was most convicted on, because it was going into a weekend. It also had good volume. It was one of the main otcs that we've been watching and it's also held for a few days, so i thought that it did have good potential going into monday, because monday gap ups are notorious for being really good and spike, which did happen.
But it just closed two week on friday for me to actually be convicted into the next day, so i just sold for a last thursday i sold for another loss, and then i saw again on monday thinking that yeah it was the first day that it actually Held over the breakout in this morning, it was gapping up very well, so i had um. I i just thought that maybe at least over five we could we could, but then i just ended up selling into that panic, but yeah overall, i'm pretty sure that i am also right on the ticker between all of like the past few days yeah. I was thinking the same thing. You were mario and primark.

I saw it gapping up like 47 48 and i was like we're gon na spike over 50. This would be great that that didn't happen so and then they released news and then it panicked - and i didn't even short it um. But what are you gon na? Do it's just it's one of those things like on the stickers, i'm just i don't even care about trying to make money back or make money on it all anymore, i'm just ready to ready for it to end and just move on to the next next runner That we have what about you jack, i know a large portion of your month is. Was this main swing here yeah? So if you actually go out to the daily chart on that, if you're able to let's say here there, we go something that was very nice about this ticker, especially was it did break out over the all-time high of 19 cents, and then it ended up holding That high for three days so to me, that is very, very bullish that it created a multi-month multi-year breakout over a very key level and then held that level for two additional days and i actually started logging it that first green candle above the breakout - and i Got in somewhere in the 19s, let me go to introduce the intraday yeah: let's pull it up there we go cool, it was pretty picture perfect, as you could see it broke over that multi-day range, which also, like i said, was a multi-year multi-month range and held That level all afternoon, even though it did look weak, which was very nice and had a little bit of strength into the clothes and then i ended up buying that and adding more the problem was was, i was actually right on the month by about 10 000 Or something so, i didn't push big size on this breakout.

Unfortunately, and i think i bought like two or three hundred thousand shares and it started working pretty nicely, and i took about half of it off into that initial spike into the 25s and then that other half i ended up just putting a stop loss in on The green to red level, which was very nice because it did have a big shakeout midday there and if you could just scroll the chart so left a little kyle. And then oh yeah, like that yeah and then i ended up having a huge rally into the close and i sat or i was able to capitalize on that because i wasn't at my computer. I probably would have sold it if i saw that dump happen in real time, but it ended up having a nice spike into the close and the next day it gapped up and spiked even more, and i ended up selling the rest of my shares into the 35 to 40 range - and that was my best trade of the month for sure, but then that created some problems with me. Knowing that i did so well on it once before, then i tried to take a lot more size on the next breakout, which was around that 40 cent area like mari and kyle were just talking about, and i chopped myself up pretty good on it as well, Where i kept getting shaken out on the big dips, because i had a lot more size this time and since it was already very extended, i wanted to see it go quickly instead of sitting through these harsher dips, because the dips can get a lot more harsh.
Since it is a lot more extended, so i ended up screwing myself over and taking some losses on it these last four days and it's been really really annoying to trade on the long side, not not really sure what it'll do now. But kyle mentioned a really good point that i'm just kind of ready as well to just move on and focus on different plays that come into next month and this one's just been a turd for the last four days. If you can, if you ask you know anybody who trades the otcs like we do, it's just been really really annoying. I like that you brought up just the point about like what i just said earlier like.

I think i think it depends on for every single person, but i know traders who or seen traders just never give up on a ticker just keep coming back, keep trading. It feel like it's gon na work and they just they almost become. It almost becomes like an obsession, and i think personally i i know my tolerance now um, where once a tigger hits a certain point of like i just can't get a win on it or it just doesn't work the way i want to uh. Eventually, i just blacklist it, it's like you know, ious isn't actually blacklisted um, but it's just at the point, like you said jack, where it's like we're over it.

Just it's not worth we're. Gon na take the overall l on it um. It's just move on. You know so, and so, let's actually, let's move on uh so cybl for me, uh was actually a great win.

Today i made about seven grand on it. Um very similar daily chart to ilus ileus had a very awesome breakout, huge run and then, instead of pulling back it like held and then wants to break out again now i remember screwing it up pretty bad on was it i believe it was friday um. I had a i used a stop loss for the first time, guys, i'm very proud of myself. Jack, had to show me how to use a stop-loss um as embarrassing as that was i just i've, never i've.

It's always been a mental stop um and i put a stop-loss in on friday because i couldn't watch it and um. I got stopped out like they just they just knew exactly where i put it uh the market makers and took me out. I put it at red, green on friday. I didn't initially have it there, but because it held in the morning.
I then moved it up there as i was leaving my computers for the day and of course, this little washout stopped me out. It sucks, but that's just how i trade, i'm not necessarily gon na pick this wide stop, because i'm not watching it now. You know i would have picked red green. Had i been there in front of the computer, so i don't really regret that.

It's just funny that that was the that was the low they set there for me, so um, but then the next day, uh very similar to ilus, where it was finally now holding over the breakout level. This, like 4 8. These high force level was finally holding uh, so i start getting long after this perk after midday, you know we're kind of entering late day. Um, i add on these dips.

I added one more time in this dip and we just had a rip back which was really really impressive and from there i was pretty confident at that point we would go higher the next day come out to this morning. Um, i sell a good fourth of my position with this morning spike. I stay. Super patient thinking, we're gon na go even higher um, but we ended up just double topping right here.

I sold the rest of my shares on this crack um, which ended up to be the right decision, because then it failed even or harder later in the day, but locked in about 7k um, pretty good long trade. For me, considering, i think i've been red on the month. I was definitely read last month on long's um was, i think, was just read or break even on lungs this month. So i think a cybel just took me green uh, at least for long trades.

So it's cool to see i'm happy with it um. I think, mario, you took the same breakout, i don't know if jack you traded it, but it's kind of just for me on this one yeah. I took that same breakout and i was also expecting kind of like the same idea as ilus where they had very similar uh dailies. So that's what i was looking for, but i was mostly convicted just on ius.

So most of my time was pretty much spent. Just trying to focus in on ius, which i thought had the biggest potential but cybl, ended up having great morning strength and i sold some at the open on the gap up and then i sold some um on the level two turn, but that was it. Wasn't it was for 3 000 on the day, but it still wasn't, like my main watch, that i've had totally um and just looking at it now like this, this run up late day, back green. This is what i was thinking of when we were saying earlier about how, like we have these runners but they're choppy like ios ileus.

We know we clearly went over the last few days, how choppy it is and just a headache, but even things like cybl, i mean in a different market like this doesn't happen um, you know you go red and it stays red and then it fades for a Very long time, um the comeback that this had super impressive, and so now this wouldn't shock me if it wanted to go higher now am i going to long it? Probably not you know, i'm kind of over it. Like i said i've made my money. I took the most predictable part of the move that i know well as my own personal style um, but just this choppiness like anyone who held through this dip and then it's now like thinking, they're smart because they came back like it's just this market, that's unique. I don't think this would be a sustainable thing um as a strategy.
In my personal opinion, just a very choppy market, um, tgg or tggi - was a ticker like this, where, like i, never traded it because it just kept going red, green red, green and before you know, at the end of the day, it's up 20 higher than where It was for like seven days straight so um jack. Do you have any any comments on on cybl yeah cybo was a pretty good trade for me as well, better than isle us right, where your mouse is right. Now that's was the best spot to log there at 3. 8.

4.. I know that's where kyle you first entered, that was a great spot to buy it and put that put your risk on that support level created all day. In hindsight, that's what i wish. I did, but i actually ended up missing it so for the next couple days i ended up uh.

I think i lost on it. That day i tried to buy that perk after it held the open price around um. No, the next perk yeah around there, risking that support level and ended up stopping me out. So that was frustrating.

I lost a little bit on it, but i didn't really want to swing it. It was very up and down. It ended up going a lot lower anyway, that day very difficult day and then the next day when they all gapped up, it was a little frustrating because we were trying to buy both of them on friday for gap ups, and then that day i ended up Buying some shares at the open and selling it into the first push um selling, that into the first push yeah, and then i rebought some shares around five cents around ten o'clock somewhere around there and i held those shares for a while. But i i was really tired monday, so i just burnt out and ended up selling those shares into the five cent support level which was frustrating again, but then i ended up nailing it buying that late day into that late day, um last, the last portion of The day uh got in and then ended up selling it into the six cent area, and i actually added some at the open as well, which was a nice additional amount of money and i sold it all in the six.

So that was a pretty good trade. Um and recuperated, most of my ilus losses from the past few days and like i was saying like yeah, these plays, are just have been really really choppy. I think in another market this holds and goes a lot higher after creating that kind of support level. But in this market it double tops, it dumps, goes back down and then goes back up liquidly.
So it's just really really hard to trade um. Hopefully they get a little bit cleaner moving into the winter, and it's not as choppy as this yeah. I agree. I think they will that's a great point too, like looking at the volume, it's like so little compared to what it needed in the morning.

It just made this massive move from you know 510 to nearly to six on, like not even half the volume it took in the morning, so just just weird, very odd um, but cei i'll i'll leave i'll. Let you leave this one jack, you know what are you thinking? This is clearly the most potential biggest runner we've seen for first or for september um i mean even the beginning of september had a great run, and now it's had an even bigger run so um. I i know you're thinking but uh share with us. Your thoughts, yeah, so cei actually ended up being a really difficult stock in the beginning of the month, because no red day pulled back significantly at all and it always bottomed in the first like five minutes and then rebounded all the way back up and like.

I was saying is being pumped by a few individuals on twitter and i'm not really sure how they're getting this much volume into it, but it's very, very impressive. There's probably some algos messing around with it as well, and a lot of people are just buying and they're, just holding kind of like an amc, gme type thing and short sellers know this company as a really really bad fundamental company. So a lot of people are short this as well, which um, i think, is what led to this squeeze from two to the mid three so far, and i actually was gon na - buy this breakout over two bucks on. I think that was thursday.

I was gon na buy an after hours at like a buck 83, but unfortunately i just decided not to because i didn't want the stress, and it was really annoying me on the short side, which i really need to just buy it next time. When there's huge volume - and it's holding like this, so it did end up making a really nice breakout run all the way up to the three dollar area. And now i will be watching it for the short setup, and today it was a pretty nice day where i think kyle and i can both agree a year or two ago. We would have been very aggressively shorting this today, expecting for it to dump and not come back, and we would have been really really frustrated with that price action.

But today we both kind of talked - and we said, like hey - we're we're not going to short this too aggressively right now, because of this blow off type volume, it's going to be very hard for to dump and a lot of the times. You see it kind of tap, go over under red to green and then bounce back and kind of make some consolidation in your vwop, which is exactly what it did now. Personally, i think this is a 50 50., whether it gaps up and continues to four bucks or if it gaps down i'll, be ready for both um. If it does gap down, i think it's a short uh tomorrow, risking the resistance levels in the mid threes.
330. 340, slash red degree. I think red to green is gon na, be like 3 20 tomorrow, but if it does gap up, i will be wary about the short, because i think it has a lot more shorts to squeeze out if it does gap up over 350 and uses the previous Day's highs as support, so i won't be too aggressive on it tomorrow. If that is the case and it gaps up, then i think the short would be into a thursday gap up or gap down on thursday.

If it does gap up. I think that would be the short if it has a big squeeze day tomorrow, other than that i'll just be reacting to the price action. A lot of speculation on what it's going to do, but just putting some ideas out there to kind of see how it will look in next twist episode, i'm sure we'll review it win or lose we'll be here talking about what we did right. What we did wrong for you guys to learn from yeah, i'm right there with you um.

I remember seeing in the morning of people a few chat rooms that i'm in um of people like shorting are shorting this on the front side here - and i remember thinking like like today - is not the day like, like you mentioned jack they'll blow off volume like There's so much volume it's gon na be so hard for it to dump. I was like i i'm gon na stay away. I don't like it um the fact that it did pull back all the way to green impresses me massively like. I did not think this move was going to happen um, but also, though, when it did, i remember thinking it probably won't go much lower for the reason like i'm just not going to ignore the big volume is still there.

The volume was still just as massive and when you sell off from from 340 all the way down to 260 um, that's a massive sell-off to ask for it to go even lower being this far away from v-web having this hardship itself. Like i said um i had a even i was even more i kind of even doubled down on my conviction of like i don't think this is going to die today i die today. I think it's going to come back, um and, like jack said: we've seen this before too many times of a ticker that would bounce like this, and i would i'm in 2019 kyle early 2020 kyle um would have been fighting this. The entire rest of the day would have been short in this, balance would have been covering would have very short, it would have covered again and i would have lost so much mental capital and energy, and i'm so happy.

I just didn't even didn't even consider shorting it um, and so now i have all this energy and and capital like no losses on it to be able to attack it when the time is actually right, uh, and so i agree with jack. I think if it gaps down um, it's clearly a good sign of failure that it hasn't been able to squeeze back um if it gaps up yeah, i mean if it gaps over 340. Anyone who's been shortened today and is holding is now kind of screwed um, especially if it wants to keep up this volume granted it traded like what was it. 700 million shares a day, which is just absurd, so it would take a lot for it to keep going, but it doesn't mean it can't um.
So yeah we'll see what whatever kind of happens, win or lose like jack said um next week there will be an outcome, but it's gon na be fun. This is definitely - and we haven't seen a runner like this in general um from a listed stock in quite some time to have this much volume, this much kind of eyes on it um this much kind of volatility. So it's exciting to see. Um already have any thoughts or comments on it, um yeah.

So i think that, like i agree with jack, it is 50 50.. I think there's a lot of people that thinking that it could go to five there's, also a lot of people that think that is, it is a very bad. Fundamentally, it is very bad like fundamentally so it could go either way, but the way that it reacts to when it does go red will be like what kind of when it picks the direction and they'll be telling with tomorrow's action totally right there with you guys. Um, i'm gon na close out by saying uh.

Just you know, september's ending, usually august september, like we said in the beginning of the episode, at least for me, has been like the hardest months um now that we're in october november december. That's definitely when things pick up, that's definitely when i personally, in my previous years of trading, have kind of entered the next level of just more experience. Newer risks, better runners and that's usually what leads me to then december january and february to really push it and just kill it now. Will that happen? I can't guarantee that, but it's just you know the fact that september august and september played out that way in previous years.

I have a good feeling, you know the odds are in our favor to play out, maybe the same way um so just excited for it, and i'm hoping you know eager to see what these next few months bring anything you're looking for in the next three months. From the market or whatever, i'm looking forward for cleaner, less choppier, charts yeah in otc, mainly and definitely not like i'll us and cybl, but maybe they do hold up and later uh, maybe next month or they can just like reset up and just hold, and maybe That breakout would be better going into the hotter months, but right now, just um try to be as like, consistent as possible and then get ready for when it is, but just showing up like consistently is kind of like my main goal. Just to like gain the most experience that i can for when it does get hot again, but if not just making sure that, like i recognize totally totally yeah, i'm i'm just more excited for more volume. A lot a lot of trades.

The past six months have really just been irritating me with the lackluster volume, and it's just very about too much size. Now man who could handle me bro yeah, just kidding it's just like it's just personally, been boring for me because for me to sit there and trade like stocks and not really maximize them. The way like i want to, i just i'm excited for more opportunity with volume to to grow again and not feel so trapped in the stage that i feel like i've been trapped in for a few months and not really have the opportunity to to grow. So i'm excited for potential growth and more volume and more fun totally um.
It makes me think of a point, my last. I won't ramble on too long, but i love that point because it's like there's this. I agree with you jack, where i'm like, and i've seen that a little bit of mice trading as well like this last few months, where i see a play and i think i can make money but the volume it's like yeah, maybe two years ago, i would Have taken it, but today it just it isn't worth my energy or my time or it's like there's a certain size that you and it's not about how much money i can make or lose. But it's just like the the game itself and you you've reached you.

Reach a level of size, and it's just if that, if that liquidity isn't there, it's just not it it's like a missing. It's like an empty void in a way i don't wan na. I don't think that's a it has accurate descriptions. I could say, but that's what i'm thinking of it's just so like, like.

I totally agree with you like this. Hopefully, this next winter brings a lot of big volume, a lot of big runners and uh. We can push ourselves to better better limits um, but anyways. Guys twist is back thanks.

This was a helluvan overview of your trades guys!! Which dvd/lesson from Sykes' course is similar to what you guys just went through? Determining risk points in previous HODs, sensing that short timing (on CEI) wasn't there yet, etc. Would love to hear more from you. Thanks.

Damn, what if the fundamentals changed at CEI. Stocks have had turn around stories. Not saying it’s not being pumped, it’s clearly being pumped by Zack and ladde. But if the underlying story has actually changed there is more reason to pile into it, squeeze the shorts and catch that nice pop out of it. I don’t think most of the volume is coming from Twitter I think other people are seeing something going on as well. Just a thought

Thanks Kyle, Jack, and Mariana! Love that you brought Twist back! Especially since I traded TGGI, CYBL and ILUS. I made the most on the foreboding TGGI run-up mid August. Greetings from Santa Barbara!
