Say you out $1000 in an account. You make 1% every trading day, without putting any more money in. By the end of year 3, you'll have $1.8 million in the account. And 1% is very doable.
$1k with 3% per trade once a day compounded everyday would give close to $50 million in a year.

IMO…if you are just getting started…you shouldn’t be trading out of a margin account anyway. I’ve seen too many people burn through their money before they have even honed their skills. Trade a cash account and then the PDT doesn’t apply. Perfect your craft. You’ll be over $25k in time. Just be patient.

PTN after hours closed at 2.12, curious on your input on that. I think the support is around 2.00 now. Also, total authorized shares = 300M, total issued share = ~203, PTN in remarks for 2020 funding in a release of 40M more shares to fund 2020 research. Now this is a volatile biotech stock but is there a potential long position? We know it is an orphan drug ("low market share"), however, we are talking female viagara that coincides with a basic human function. We have the largest aging population. Though insurance companies may not "cover" the drug, that likely will not stop the world's consumption because we know the male version can be bought from online retailers without prescription. So question remains. We see TEVA trading around 8 and PFE trading around 40.

Hey Ricky. I know this is an older video but I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I've been dabbling in the stock market for about 4 years now and never once before I started watching your videos has it been easier to understand. The 3-5% growth strategy really works!
The hardest part is staying committed to this strategy because it's so easy to get greedy when there is a huge uptrend. I deviated from this once and paid the price, but as soon as I started back to the more conservative technical trading strategies like you teach, I quickly bounced back and not only recouped my losses but grew my account bigger than before. I learned my lesson.

I did not start by paper trading; I jumped in eyeball deep. I'm a newbie…experiencing a 0.3+% increase. Not much but I'm not losing. My goal right now is 10% a month. After that, I'll step it up a bit.
Does the PDT limit apply no matter who your account is with?
People that do nothing but bring down other’s is because they are just negative kinds of people… I’m 45 years YOUNG lol and I have tried so many different businesses to become my own boss I personally don’t believe in a 9-5 or building someone else’s dreams instead of my own unfortunately for myself I haven’t found anything that’s worked for me but I haven’t given up . I have lost so much money it’s heartbreaking but I believe I can do it I just need to find the right path . I can care less if you are younger then me obviously you found several things that work for you I think it’s amazing 😉. I want to learn how to do trading I have always been interested but was scared to learn on my own …. I think it’s great what you are doing because it’s not something you got to do to help others but you do thats great 👍
