This business called Back Rub is now worth 1.1 trillion dollars. So how did this happen? In 1995, two computer science students at Stanford saw the World Wide Web and wanted to link it all together on one website. All of the world's information would be available through this one website. They decided to call it Back Rub because the website analyzed the web's backlinks.

Backrob operated on Stanford servers until eventually the business grew so large that Stanford could no longer handle the bandwidth. While that business called Back Rub is now Google.
