One thing is for sure…Jim Cramer is full of sh**
Another big driver for semiconductors is WAR.
ps5 still double price though
Hi, You are doing a great work and I have a great amount of admiration about all your work.
But I have a different take on this, I believe that Semiconductor Industry may not give good or any retunes in long team, since Government's across the Globe have realized the importance of Semiconductor and the need for self-dependence on it, hence these Government's have invested heavily in this sectors, which in turn will lead to increased supply of the good in the market which will dramatically affect the product price thus the stock`s will tank a lot.
Once again, Thank you very much for the all the great work you are doing, please accept my granitite from Bangalore (India).
Regards, Sid.
Kramer? Say no more.
Masterworks has him by the balls 😂
Wait for a confirmed bottom, I don't know shit about fuck, this IS financial advice!
Fwiw, the increased demand for GPUs was not caused by Bitcoin miners. Nobody uses GPUs to mine Btc. Ethereum miners are the ones who drove up GPU demand (though Ethereum mining no longer works on GPUs).
I don’t object to ads but man that ad read is just too much.
Personally, you and other finance channels lose a lot of credibility with me pushing this masterworks scheme.
LOL – Jim Cramer, 100% record of being wrong.
You know what doesn't help Semi stocks recover? Blocking sales to the largest consumer of semiconductors; china.
<Most beginners believe that investing in crypto and stock is all about holding till it rises, with the recent crash in the market and recession. We should know that long term price predictions are very difficult to achieve. It's better to trade short term and make profit.
I hear “fine art” i skip the next 30 seconds 😂
Any prediction on the bottom time for semiconductors stocks?
How much drop are we still in before a bottoming out?
Well I managed to get my Xbox Series X after a long wait, so I'm happy.
Vehicles run just fine without a computer. Even better, actually. Just one less repair expense. Cars can be designed and built without a computer, and they should. Free up components for computing devices.
silicon is going to get cheaper. always does. like you say.. prices are back to pre fed cash pumping of a few years ago… this is quite good as its already unwound the nuts P/E that the rest of the S&P has to go through. no chance that the bottom is in. buying while still going down is a risky and bally move. wait for the start of a reversal. you might miss a few % points but you will protect your capital.
as for new fabs, they will be more highly automated than ever before. so intel is right to ditch 1000s of staff. they are just not needed anymore in a highly automated factory. their profit margins are still pretty high. over 50%. ratios that other sectors would dream of.
I'm sure another comment has already pointed this out, but GPUs are NOT used to mine Bitcoin (though I guess you could use them if you want to waste electricity and make negative returns).
For an industry that moves as fast as semis, in terms of technological progression and rates of obsolescence, you simply NEED a just in time inventory system.
As better semiconductors come into data centers, the fewer chips they need
Despite all this bad news, Semiconductors are essential to what we do these days and to do the future as well. I'm sure there's room to invest after it falling so far into the red.
The semiconductor industry has always been boom or bust
The semi shortage is in the low end chip market. Not in the PC market. Think the CPU in your microwave, this is where the shortage is. So things like PC shipments have absolutely nothing to do with it. You should do further research on the topic
Wall Street millennial is so wrong so often. Just check out his previous adice videos. He is very clueless
I'm so happy I recently found this channel. I'm bingeing on all of your old ones.
I just like AMD. Coz my whole family (whole family on my side and my wife's family too) uses it. All AMD.
On the mid and long term it will all be fine.
