This feels eerily like one of those videos that Kevin is going to recall somewhere down the line (6 – 12 months) and remind us all that he continues to make some solid decisions based upon his knowledge and research. The problem is, most of us can't absorb enough of what he can say (without being financial advice) to act upon without doing our own lengthy research. By then, the train has left the station. Always. Sorry Kevin, supply chain increased demand due to lack of inventory. Now overstock will hit earnings hard, like really hard. Next is unemployment further reducing production and spending. I see at least 16-18 months before bottom.

One thing the video misses is the inventory levels and the bull whip. Retailers have made huge orders anticipating supply shocks and that will result in supply glut and no takers for the same. With Layoffs this will only get worse. While correlation is not causation, the fed pivot can cooincide with retail and associated suppliers filing bankruptcies and still trigger a massive crash instead of a bull run

This recession is driven by inflation. Food, energy and housing. A FED “pivot” will undeniably be bullish for the markets because you want to own equites during (hyper)inflation. Your entire thesis seems based on the FED driving down inflation in under a year.. after 15 years of QE and ever lower Federal Funds Rate. I assume even getting to 4% inflation will wreck the economy. The FED can either save the dollar or the markets but not both.
Stocks did not increase in value the dollar devalued due to printing money to buy shares

Dude, the point you're making is fed didnt cause the previous crashes so they couldnt control it. This time its all them so they can. Currently, there are multiple forces around the world sick of US Dollar printing and unlimited debt that benefits US. So as soon as they pivot, oil producers, exporters and opposing forces will do their part to crash US economy just like the 2 mil production cut. i agree with your point its not the same as the other ones but we have not considered geopolitics, nah ? apologies if this makes no sense.
