So what makes the Bilt card so special is the fact that this here is the best card when it comes to paying rent.
I’ve been living in apartments for the last 3-4 years now and over that course of time I’ve spent well over $150,000 in rent.
Yea just rent…
Normally what i would do though is use a credit card like my american express platinum card to pay the rent but I’d take a 2-4% processing fee. In certain situations you can still find positive value if you’re able to redeem those points for higher value but HIGH REDEMPTION is not guaranteed.
So let’s break down the math.
On average let’s say your rent for your apartment is $3,000 a month.
In a course of a year you would’ve spent over $36,000 in just rent.
In 2 years that would’ve been $72,000
In 3 years that’s $108,000 you’ve spent.
Let’s say you have to pay a 3% transaction fee for using any credit card of choice.
Over the course of 3 years you would’ve paid $3,240.00 in just fees.
Well with the Bilt mastercard you instantly save that amount because they waive your credit card transaction fee for paying rent.
So for this use - case just by using this credit card you’re getting $1,080 back in your pocket every single year.
That sounds pretty good- but it’s only the start.
The Bilt Mastercard offers you 1X back on rent payments on up to 50,000 points each calendar year.
So if you’re rent is no more than $4,166 a year you would be maxing out the full 50,000 points.
And 50,000 Bilt points isn’t something to take lightly.

So I've got quite a decent amount of credit cards I actually have about two binders worth of them, you know? I want to share with you what might be the best credit card that I've ever seen in my life? This here is the Built credit card. Pretty cool. You just open it like this and it comes out here on the side. So one of the benefits of this card is that you can pay zero dollars in transaction fees if you use a card for rent.

as an example. if you're paying three thousand dollars per month in apartment rent and you're paying a three percent processing fee, you're already saving ninety dollars a month. Now let's break this down into a yearly saving. So if you're saving 90 per month in a single year, you'd save a thousand eighty bucks.

On top of that, with this card, you get 1X back on rent payments. So three thousand dollars times 12 months is thirty six thousand dollars or thirty six thousand points equating to three hundred and sixty dollars, Built has one of the most valuable reward points. Instead of valuing it at one point to one cent I would value it at one point to two pennies. This means the total Roi in one year would be over 80.
