So the first thing we have to talk about is this nonsense that you hear in mainstream media that the short sellers and the hedge funds are chilling on the porch drinking my ties, they don't feel the pain. This is nothing the mainstream media. Wants you to think that the hedge funds and the shorts are a couple of pilots flying a plane and they just felt a little bit of a turbulence like, and that was all they're chilling they're having a good time. Joking with the stewardess sorry, the flight attendant.

I'm sorry, i don't know i'm russian, but here's the reality. They're full of this is not what's going on in the cockpit right now. If the virtual cockpit of the hedge funds was actually live streaming right now, what you will see is two dudes screaming at each other mayday they were going down they're freaking out. This is not like they want you to think about.

This is absolutely pandemonium. Hedge funds and shorts lost over two billion dollars already from this sort of quasi beginning of a short squeeze. They haven't seen nothing yet, and it's already very, very painful. The problem is that there's no way out, they don't have a parachute.

They're commercial pilots, they got ta bring the plane up or they die quite simple. That is why they can't let you see that, but, unlike mainstream media, i'm gon na tell you the truth. I don't care they're, panicking they're in deep and they're, definitely feeling the pain. My name is tom nash and i quit my corporate job as a senior financial analyst to break down companies for you there's one thing you need to know about me: i don't take from anybody.

Every short squeeze has a beginning, a middle and an end in another to start as well as end. It needs a catalyst now in order to end it needs a bad catalyst, but in order to start in order to ignite it needs a positive good catalyst. In the case of gme, we had ryan cohen, join the board and actually create that massive catalyst for the jme short squeeze, and i actually think we have our first piece falling into place in this whole domino effect, which is supposed to happen in the amc short Squeeze saga now, yesterday, news just broke that actually changed everything and as you'll see in a second. This is not clickbait.

Okay, so last night at 10, 46 p.m. This thing broke the news. This is from reuters, u.s movie theaters remove mask mandate for vaccinated people. Now i actually headed to the amc website to make sure that this actually applies to mc, and what i found is that they just posted this masks not required for fully vaccinated guests in accordance with the cdc guidelines.

Masks are not required for guests who are fully vaccinated now check this out. This is huge news and i'll explain in a second. Why, but, first of all i have to give you a caveat. I have no skin in this game, i'm not employed by hedge fund.

I have no relationship to any hedge funds or anything like that. I definitely hold no shares of amc. I'm completely objective. I don't try to sell you, nothing, no fear-mongering.
No, nothing! There's! No courses on my website. Don't click! Nothing! Don't smash! Nothing! Just listen to me and i'll tell you some of the things you won't hear anywhere else. Also i'm going to talk about how real is this bull case, because we need an honest, real bull case for this thing to push forward. Let me just explain: without the ryan coyne catalyst joining gamestop, the gamestop short squeeze doesn't happen.

We need a real pull case for amc to push the short squeeze forward. I am rooting for all the people who are participating in this amc, crusader or saga. Whatever you want to call it, i definitely hope all you make money. I hope this goes to the moon to a thousand dollars whatever.

I am absolutely ecstatic for those of you who are making money. However, i personally will not be participating and in this video i'll, also explain why i'm staying away from this. But this is just my personal choice and my personal opinion, which might be inaccurate, must be completely wrong or even the ramblings of a madman. You are free to do your own research, which i advise you do, because these might be the realities of a madman, allegedly blah blah madafing.

Let's get started with the analysis. Okay, so let me offer my honest, unbiased opinion about what the hell is going on with amc and, more importantly, what's coming next week, because this is probably the thing you're more interested about, and i suggest you listen to what i have to say, because this is Coming from a guy who has no skin in this game, trust me this is just my opinion check this out. So for those of you who think that this is a cheap stock, i want to cool you down a little bit at 26. It seems like it's a little bit cheap.

However, you have to understand that this stock was two dollars in the beginning of the year. That means an 1100 markup just in the past four months, and you have to remember that amc went from a valuation of 260 million to 12 billion in just four months, meaning that it has the equivalent appreciation of putin writing shortlists on a horse nft i mean That kind of thing don't come cheap and i get it. I bought one in fact, just from the last friday in the past week, this stock is up from twelve dollars to twenty six dollars. Just in the past week, the stock did 116, meaning it's gone.

Parabolic now, without an actual pull case, without a guy like deep value without ryan coin, without a legitimate bowl case. This short squeeze cannot happen because without a legitimate bulk case that actually makes a lot of sense. This is going to be a pure short squeeze play without any fundamentals, meaning it's going to be very short-lived and not going to be as extreme as what we saw with gamestop. So we need that bookcase, and the question is now that the masks are off.

Is this enough to push this thing forward and if you take a look at the numbers, this was posted on cnn 91 of moviegoers feel blockbusters must be seen on the big screen, meaning in the cinema 87 say movie going. Experience cannot be duplicated at home. So without the masks - and as you just saw according to that cnn posted poll, there's definitely a lot of pent up demand. People are cooked up at home, they want to get out.
They definitely want to go to the cinema. The tv didn't kill the cinema, the netflix isn't going to kill the cinema. The cinema is here to stay. I don't think cinema in general, as a cultural phenomenon is going anywhere.

So in that respect, mc will do much better than they're doing right now. There's no doubt in my mind, however, that doesn't solve the major cataclysmic, structural and financial issues that amc are facing before the pandemic and are still facing now they're still in deep, and none of this actually solves this and with the way the share is behaving, it Becomes quite dangerous because the share was already 36.72, it closed at 26.5, which is 50 cents away from the 27 record we had in 2015, which by now has already been broken by the apes who took it to 36.. I mean this is getting into dicey territory. I'm not telling you it's a bad idea or it's a good idea, i'm just letting you know that in this kind of territory it becomes a very dangerous game, and for that i'm going to show you both sides.

Like neither wants you to see, i'm going to show you the fear-mongering that are being brought to you, courtesy of the msm mainstream media, which is completely bogus and untrue. I'm also going to show you the flip side. The risks that most of these retail investors that are hyping up the stock, for whatever reason, don't want you to see, let's get to it.

If the virtual cockpit of the hedge funds was actually live streaming right now, what you would see is two dudes screaming at each other mayday way they were going down baby they're freaking out. This is not like they want you to think about. This is absolutely pandemonium.

Hedge funds and shorts lost over 2 billion dollars already from this sort of quasi beginning of a short squeeze. They haven't seen nothing yet, and it's already very, very painful. The problem is that there's no way out, they don't have a parachute, they're commercial pilots. They got to bring the plane up or they die quite simple.
That is why they can't let you see that, but, unlike mainstream media, i'm going to tell you the truth. I don't care they're, panicking they're in deep and they're definitely feeling the pain. The other method here in mainstream media is that the short interest is just not enough for a short squeeze. It's nowhere near the 140 percent we had in gamestop.

That is true in amc. We have about 20, which would make you think that there's really no chance for short squeeze, but contraire there is, and there is a significant risk of an actual short squeeze. Unlike what mainstream media is saying, there is actual risk of a short squeeze, and these guys are terrified. The main reason is because the short squeeze happens when the prices to borrow these shares to shore them out becomes more expensive, meaning that every day these shares outstanding, and these guys can't actually exercise they're losing a ton of money.

I'm talking about thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of dollars per day being lost on interest payments just to borrow and short out these talks. So every day that goes by it becomes more and more painful. So the only question becomes is: does it become painful enough for them to actually start covering their positions, because it's kind of a poison pill to them once they start poisoning themselves by covering their own position, they're going to be pushing the share price up, causing the Short screens so in a sense, they're kind of stuck in this problematic situation where they can't actually cover because they'll push the share price up. But if they don't cover they're screwed, because the price is going to get out of hand and they're going to be melvin capital, so it's kind of a nasty situation.

So to say there is no probability of a short squeeze on a 20 short interest. It's just trying to rub sand in your eyes, don't believe the now. The other high story i hear is the june 2nd there's going to be a massive dilution. Amc are going to issue.

Another 500 million shares doubling the outstanding shares. This is nonsense. This is a pure lie, of course, the june 2nd is just a bogus date. That's just the share count date.

The actual shareholders meeting is in july, i believe, july 29th or whatever beyond the fact that the 500 million share issuance has been taken off the table in q1 by the ceo, adam aaron or aaron adam, whatever the hell his name is, i don't care, so this Is totally bogus, there is no delusion coming they already secured over a billion dollars in funding, they don't need to dilute and issue shares. This is a completely bogus story both on the date. Nothing is happening in june, 2nd and both on the money, because they already got funding way way back. This is cancelled.
This is just recycling, this old story to create this fear-mongering fud, this ain't happening, and now that we ended some hedge fund and short sellers careers. It's time to talk about the flip side, the risks and why i personally am staying away from this. So, first of all, i don't believe in the sport case, just the reopening, essentially no mass, going back to cinemas. People actually wanting to go and see movies in the cinemas, which i absolutely agree with, is not enough of a bull case for me, because amc has massive structural financial issues that were an issue before covert will be an issue after covert, and even though i believe That reopening is going to do wonders for this company.

It's not going to solve these issues, they're waiting for a long, painful journey to recovery, which i don't think presents a bull case enough, at least for me - to invest in this company and play this. But this is just my opinion. It doesn't mean it's not going to happen. This stock might go to 500.

Who knows honestly, i'm not just being cynical and just to be clear. Mc isn't going bankrupt, they have enough money, they secured the billion dollars they're. Reopening things are going to improve it's just, in my opinion, they're not going to improve fast enough versus other investments, which i like better now. The other part here we absolutely have to talk about is something you have to understand.

There's a lot of short interest in that 20. That really is not affected by you. They don't give a because they initiated their short position at 24, 25, 26. Basically recently, so they don't care.

All they need is the share to go 20 to make a ton of money they're playing the later game. So if you actually take these out, you probably have anywhere from 10 to 15 actual short interest in the lower prices, where they're actually feeling the pain and that kind of increases the risk that a short squeeze isn't coming, not saying it's not gon na happen. I still think it's a good chance that the short squeeze actually happens, but the realistic percentage of short selling here, i think, is less than 20, because a lot of these shorts are new and they're not really relevant. For this, but again just my opinion.

The other thing is that you have to understand that, unlike what you hear in reddit, the short squeeze did not start yet the shorts have not started to cover their positions. All of this everything you're seeing the parabolic rise is just increased demand on the retail side. A lot of people are buying the stock in anticipation of a short squeeze. Not that is inherently bad, but it's not the short squeeze so if you're buying now or you bought lately, you're essentially gambling on the short squeeze to happen, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a gamble now what's happening here.

Is that you're betting, that the rita investors will outlast the hedge funds and the short sellers, because at some point something has to give either people are going to pay per hand out, or these guys will get margin called. I mean the hedge funds and the short sellers, or it's going to get too expensive for them and they'll have to cover their positions. But whichever comes first actually applies to the result. If they crack first meaning the hedge fund in the shorts or they get margin.
Call first, then, the retail wins vice versa. If their people are getting paper handed, then they'll lose. So it's essentially a bet on who cracks first, and it's not a bad i like to make. I don't like the odds now.

The bottom line here is that the amc story is all about two things: greed and a deep desire to stick it to the man. Both i completely identify with - and i hope you all make a lot of money - sticking it to the man. Greed is actually a good thing if you can make it. Why not you deserve money? You deserve to win every once in a while.

The retail investors have been screwed for so long. One of you. Why not, but i do have a few words of warning. I want you to listen to before you make a decision on what to do with this.

First of all, you have to understand that you're playing an unfair game - 80 cents on the dollar 80 percent of the money in the stock market is institutional. Only 20 is retail money, meaning by definition structurally you playing a rigged game. You're underpowered. The system is rigged against you, so the mm, the money machine, is designed to win and if you get a few in there sure why not? But you have to understand it's a very dangerous game.

The other thing is, i don't think it's a crusade and i don't think you should think of it as a crusade either you have to understand that hedge funds and shorts and rich are everywhere. They're playing both sides. I won't be surprised if a lot of the money on the long side of mc right now is short, sellers and rich and hedge funds as well, because they think it's gon na go up. So i don't think it's a crusade to get hedge funds.

I think there's hedge funds on both sides. There are no good and bad guys here as much as i like the narrative, but if you're willing to take the bet, excluding the whole crusade argument, sure why not but remember, even though we had the whole melvin capital meltdown, which was a huge win for written Investors, usually that's not the result, 85 percent of time retail investors lose to institutionals, that's because the market is rigged. We all know this. It's not a fair game.

So, if you get in on this, make sure you understand the odds. Only 15 of you will make a ton of money. 85 of you will lose some sort of portion of the investment. If not everything.

Now, i'm not saying do it or don't do it, but you have to understand what are the odds of winning here, because at this point i think, if you're buying amc shares you're betting, that the short squeeze happens without it. It cannot make you any money. You're betting, that the hedge funds and the short sellers will get either margin called or run out of money and they'll have to start covering their positions, which will actually trigger the short squeeze and make all of you a lot of money. And i get it.
And i hope you actually win, but i personally don't like the odds - and i don't like playing against institutional investors in their own game. I'd rather play the slow game where i actually have the advantage and not play their crazy, run and gun game which i'm underpowered in but again just my opinion, just my decision. I wish you all the outmost of luck. I hope you stick it to them sure why not and as always a huge thank you for the channel members and the patrons for the massive support you're providing for our channel, you allow me to make content like this.

Thank you. So much we'll see you guys. Next, video.

The crusade is about calling out illegal practices and forcing reform because it will be politically detrimental for policy makers not to. Weโ€™ll see what a share count just in USA and parts of Canada will say.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mat W says:

Short interest was 20% + when it was fluctuating between $8-$14. Utilization was also 95-100% for March, April and until very recently. So saying that most of the short interest are shorts in at $25 I donโ€™t think is entirely accurate. If anything itโ€™s the other way around.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Humire says:

AMC Is super risky BUT they already paid off a lot of their debt during the last memestock short squeeze and are reopening much sooner than they had anticipated. So AMC stock might get a good bump bull spike this summer but the reality of AMCโ€™s financial situation will come to bear either at the end of this year or next year.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars greg medbourn says:

Listen to a 58 year old conservative investors advice:
AMC is something that doesnโ€™t come along maybe in a lifetime..

    Note:
With 99.9 % of all companies
Financials are the main key to whatโ€™s has happen
and whatโ€™s happening now with the current stock price..
Amc doesnโ€™t have good financialsโ€ฆand itโ€™s not something that season investors would consider at these ($25-35) current price range..

    Butโ€ฆ
Iโ€™m not buying into amc cause of there financial picture or buying to hold for long term stocks like Apple-Amazon-Tesla
Iโ€™m buying like every one else
Iโ€™m buying the very highly likely hood that the facts are true that it will squeeze and itโ€™s looking like itโ€™s going to be bigger then most think itโ€™s going to be.
(For me itโ€™s kinda impossible for it not to squeeze)..

    Itโ€™s a generational opportunity..
And remember these words for a wise 58 year old man..Greg

A lot of Millionaire are made when a opportunity comes there way and they have knowledge that most donโ€™t and they do there research and seeks wisdom from others on that research..
And finally act a pond it with there money and taking a risk thatโ€™s most others are afraid to take..

All the financial stars are truthfully aligning
and when itโ€™s $40-80-120-200 plus) itโ€™s a steal where the price is at..

You will not remember weeks from now that you bought in at $32 and if if you just waited a day you could of bought in at $24

(Itโ€™s going to be volatile from now on )
You have to have the stomach to see it gain double in a day and then lose it all back in more the next day..
    But itโ€™s going to popโ€ฆ.
I canโ€™t say when but the facts are the facts..

    Just buy what you can..
Iโ€™ve been buying 50-100 shares a week for the last 2-3 months
    I have 1,100 shares and
Iโ€™ve closed several positions in other stocks I was in last week giving me about 10k that Iโ€™ve spent 5k Friday and will again buy when the markets open on Tuesday and not losing sleep during this price roller coaster ride thatโ€™s happening til the hedge funds run out of options..

That will happen and you will be wishing you would of bought more at these prices..

    Blessings in this my friends
    Greg
