You sound like a tesla fanboy. Shure Teslas are better on paper. You need to consider people dont buy things because of facts but because of emotions. If you like a BMW you probably will buy a BMW even if its worse than a Tesla. Also you sound extremly arrogant I mean its probably fun for your vieweers listening to you bashing other brands, I think you need to consider how much work the people behind those brands put into the cars even if those dont come close to Tesla.
i thought it was unfair to compare the volvo to the model 3, they are two very different cars…if you compare it with the X, the volvo could look very apealing 🙂

We to talk more about the production amount of these Tesla competitors, not just the specs and cost. If another car company produced a car with the same or better specs as the Tesla Model 3 at the same or better price as Tesla but was only planning to produce 20,000 or 50,000 by say the end of 2021, this wouldn’t have much effect on Tesla especially if Tesla is producing 500,000 or more Model 3s by the end of 2021. Production volume is just as important or more important than the specs and the price.
Bro. I'm the #1 Elon fanboy. But my dude… please try to have some unbiased reviews. The first vehicle wasn't even a competitor to the model 3, it was vs the model S, where its price and range and other perks were comparable.
And just because some companies aren't in mass production now, doesn't mean their very good product won't overtake in time. Be fair in your reviews. In fact, downplay Tesla and overplay the competition. Trust me, you'll provide an undeafeatable assessment that leaves Tesla at #1 for years to come.

The fact of the matter is without a domestic production or at least sustainable production of enough batteries for these cars they even with their combine effort can neither sell more cars nor make a better car with better range and better performance. Tesla has several years if not decade lead in the EV manufacturing. They have the whole ecosystem in one package and it is all own by Tesla. The charging network the hardware that runs everything inside your car the battery technology and the battery production. Their only real chance is to take on Tesla when they have the infrastructure to do it not just saying big words and the end result to be no better than Renault Zoe.

Rivian are way too expensive compared to the Cybertruck, when you consider what you are getting for your money.
Tesla has no competition for most of its model types EXCEPT the affordable compact car. That is Tesla's achilles heel and if they do not get moving on bringing out an affordable compact they will cede the market to this space, which represents – depending on who you listen to – 1/5th to 1/3rd of the market. That's a lot of market share. So the specs for the mini cooper or the VW ID3 means that Tesla aren't even in the race for the compact car segment. Personally, and like many people, I can't afford any Tesla model currently on offer, but I could afford the Mini Cooper. I don't want to drive more than 90mph because where I live you would get an expensive speeding ticket doing that speed, and I don't care for 0-60 times either. The only thing I care about for an EV is
range, and
price.
Tesla has wiped the floor with Sedans (model 3), sports (roadster), SUV (Y) and pickup (CYbertruck), or will do. But they do not have an affordable compact car to offer the market now, whereas VWID3 and Mini Coopers and a few other compacts are being made right now. This is Tesla's weak spot, and that's where you'll see them start to fall. They will continue to grow, but not as fast as some people are saying.
How much money these short sellers have lost? Beyond stupid. Well, even broken clock is right 2x a day. At some point TSLA will slip & the short sellers finally make some money and rejoice. I will then pick up the pieces & buy more TSLA stocks at a discount. Give me $380!

The new id3 is probably the best competition at 261 miles of range for the 40000€ version and 340 miles for the 45000€ version. In Europe, the most comparable Tesla is the Model 3 Standart range plus at 44390 and only 254 miles of rage.
OEMs will eventually tool up their EV products. What will happen if they can’t sell them ?

BTW Cybertruck factory not ready either so that mention about Rivian's factory not being ready is not a point. I think Cybertruck and Rivian divide the market for pickup trucks in half, between those who value utility highest and those who value aesthetics highest. I'm all for utility by the way.

Every new PROTOTYPE electric car that comes out is deemed Tesla's new competition. But every time they stay exactly that, just prototypes.
Tesla, produces more than half the world's supply of batteries and even then, they are supply constrained. How exactly does the "competition" intend to build these Tesla killers at scale? O.o
