Hey, this is Tom Welcome to another video Now in today's video Obviously we have to talk about Tesla. According to the latest 10K filing from yesterday, it seems that Tesla is being investigated by the Doj. We're going to talk about that cover that in full. Also, as far as Tesla Jim chain is one of the most vocal, Tesla Shorts is doubling down on shorting Tesla We're going to talk about that the International Monetary Fund the IMF is saying the Us could narrowly avoid a recession in 2023.

We're going to talk about that. It seems that lucid, the fart that was developed yesterday. as far as Lucid being bought out by the Saudi fund, it seems to be weighing down. but Lucid reassures you that no matter what happens, the Saudi will keep paying for this little Adventure by Peter Rawlinson which is good I guess if you're Peter Rawlinson And of course we have to talk about Ford dropping prices on the Mac E as a response to what Tesla done.

and we will talk about what it means for the Auto industry in general, what it means for Ford and how does this all play out into Tesla position in the market? And obviously we have to start with Tesla Tesla Just filed the annual report the 10K and in that report they point out in a little paragraph that the Doj the Department of Justice requested information from Tesla requested documents about autopilot with regards to what seems to be an investigation. Now is this a nothing? Burger Is this a huge deal? I don't know Tesla Didn't say in the report, but guess what? This isn't the first time these driver assist systems by Tesla are being looked at by politicians by Regulators by legislators I Just have to say one thing when I see systematic self-destruct, it really bothers me. You guys have fallen ass backwards into the best car company in the world, miles ahead of the competition as far as EVS Toyota is starting to figure this out VW got it Ford and GM starting to get it. but Tesla is so far ahead of the curve and now you're actively trying to sabotage your own Golden Goose your own Holy Grail I Honestly don't understand why I See the President does it by calling the GM the leaders I see politicians and Regulators do it.

I Honestly don't understand what's the issue with autopilot. What's the issue with FSD It's driver assist systems. Come on guys. Now the problem is it's not going to hurt Tesla in the long run because Tesla is so far ahead that even the petty regulators and Petty legislators that are trying to slow it down are not going to get what they want.

But why would you even engage in the self-sabotage I Honestly do not understand this, but hey, maybe I'm wrong now. Jim Chain is one of the most famous short sellers of Tesla Pretty much have come out and doubled down in the short basically saying hey, the competition is here basically Tesla is getting wrecked. The margins are gone, blah blah blah the same fat we keep hearing about Tesla just regurgitated in 2023 Now He actually had the audacity to mention that the mar the multiples the Tesla is trading on are way higher than the Ferrari or a Porsche. So he's comparing Tesla to Ferrari or Porsche and he thinks that it makes Tesla expensive.
Now to me, it shows a little bit of a lack of understanding not disrespect Mr James but a little bit of lack of understanding of what Tesla is. Tesla sold 1.3 million vehicles in the past year. It will sell 2 million the next year and based on this article just came out an electric of the 10 most sold cars in the world not EVS the 10 most sold cars in the world Tesla has two cars in that top 10 list number four Tesla Model y number seven Tesla Model 3. like two out of the top 10 selling cars in the world are actually a Tesla Not to mention the fact that the entire world is Shifting towards EVS Look at what's going on in Norway 80 of new cars sold our EVS look at what's going on in the UK One in every three new cars sold is an EV The EV industry is cannibalizing the internal combustion engine industry, but the problem is that who are you going to bet on Mr channels if Tesla is not your bid? Who byd? Well, that's a good bet.

But the problem that Byd carries so much risk with being located in China To me, it seems that Tesla is the more sense possible bet versus Byd long term I Know For example, Warren Buffett thinks otherwise and he invested in Byd. but Warren Buffett investing in Byd is very different than Jim Chain is actually shorting actively shorting Tesla which is a crazy move. Now he may make a lot of money because shorting a company in the short term might make you a lot of money, especially in this crazy Market it's a very volatile Market Tesla might very well go to 100 per share in this insane Market based on this macro and he may make a lot of money. but as a long-term investor, it's very hard to bet against Tesla giving the numbers, given the fundamentals, giving the market.

So Jim Chainus might be playing a little bit of a short-term game and that's fine. But for long-term investors, betting against Tesla just seems absolutely insane. and I just want to quickly mention Ford and Lucid On the one hand, Lucid flooded this balloon yesterday about a possible buyout by their own 65 shareholder the Saudi fund. It seems to have fizzled out it seems, at least for now until further notice, it ain't happening.

but Lucid have been reassuring everybody that the Saudis will back them up financially as much as needed. They have plenty of cash, which they do, But guess what Elon mentioned this years ago. It's not about having money. You can have the most money.

Let's say, you're building a soccer team or a basketball team and you have the most amount of money. You still need people to select talent to coach, to basically strategize to analyze you need infrastructure. Building cars in mass is very, very difficult. Lucid Have been finding this out for the past two years building really beautiful prototypes of beautiful cars.
It's not as hard as ramping up and producing 500 000. Vehicles No matter how much money Lucid have, they don't have the Manpower the human resource, the quality of talent, the infrastructure, the understanding and how to ramp up a car company. Now they might be a really nice niche producer of expensive luxury. Vehicles That's fine, but they're nowhere near Tesla I'm sorry now talking also about Ford Ford actually dropped prices on the Mach E, which I think is absolutely ridiculous.

Look, you have to understand that Ford doesn't really make any money off of The Mach e. There's not enough of them being sold. Also, Ford is operating on a 13 gross profit margin. Tesla's operating on 24 gross margin.

so Tesla literally has double margins than Ford now. Tesla Dropping the margins a little bit to sell more units makes sense. Where is this price drop is going to come for? Ford You're already at 13 cents on the Dollar on gross profit and now you're cutting prices. This is essentially a loss producing vehicle damaki at this point and I feel bad for Ford But I mean they got a match Tesla Tesla did this actively.

They've dropped prices as a strategic move to suffocate the competition. Now Ford is being tentative and being reactive, essentially putting itself in the position where every car sold will cost Ford money which is absolutely insane now. I Also want to mention real quick the International Monetary Fund The IMF A bunch of rich people talking about money have been saying that the Us can avoid a recession in 2023 because hope you I've tried to read what's the logic can't find United can't understand it. They have actually said that it's a narrow possibility and by narrow possibility I mean it's almost to the point.

It's a Lloyd Christmas kind of a moment. So you're saying there's a chance I'm calling BS on this IMF statement. There's absolutely no chance you guys can avoid recession 2023. I Think it's hoping for the masses and be careful who you listen to.

Now at Danny Group, the target of the Hindenburg research company short report issued a 400 page response. now I think what they were hoping is people too lazy to read 400 Pages side by side versus the Hindenburg report and a lot of claims about anti-india stuff et cetera. Etc And of course Hindenburg Research had to respond and they said something very short and brief. They basically said hey guys flooding us with 400 pages of nationalistic claims were not anti-india we're anti-fraud and basically you haven't addressed a single issue according to Hindenburg that was brought up in the report and at this point of course I want to say thank you to you for spending these few minutes with me.

I guess you’re Tesla share holder because you only talk about Tesla being successful. As a consumer, I wish only EV makers do better. I want cheaper EVs, don’t you?

    It's a pump-and-dump
In the stock market there real customers that they value of the big boys with
The small investors are just window dressing..

They tell the little guy to invest in 24 GM Chrysler in the other legacy autoCompanies meanwhile there's selling off the holdings by the big investors , I even here just a lot of institutional trading quietly buying Tesla.

Remember just before the 2008 collapse the Rockefeller foundation sold all his holdings in coal oil and gas.

Meanwhile talk shows another said you're a small investor you want to take part of the market you want something that's safe Cole has been around for thousands of years.
And did a 2008 crash millions of investors lost billions of dollars when the top five coal companies filed for chapter 11
    Another example of pump-and-dump

Tesla is not trying to sufficate the competition. They only want to grow their production. Read their mission statement.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Don Fields says:

Only one little critique… Elon likes competion and doesn't do anything to crush competion as stated here. Elon/Telsa mission is to get as many EV's on the road asap… wether they are Tesla or other "equally well made cars". I just wanted to point that out… they dropped prices because of the absurd stipulations in the tax deal buying EV's. Otherwise good work, good info, and keep searching for those thing you said you do not understand. Often when something seems illogical either we are missing something… or there is corruption involved… more likely both. Good work keep it up!

Biden did not invite Tesla for the WH EV summit. Now DOJ is probing Tesla technology. Biden administration is the enemy of technology innovation.

Like it or FSD fails dangerously, and it fails a lot. Many people aren't vigilant or have fast enough reflexes to catch it. At 70 mph half a second is life or death.
This is an immature software in Beta mode with control of 2 tonnes of metal flying down public roads.

Very true statement on why the heck the US would try to sabotage their golden goose: Tesla…
All their decisions are completely backwards… and it's obvious they aren't working for the betterment of average citizens
