What about reverse timing the market? I probably invested more than 5 times the normal money that I invested in 2021. I waited long for this plunge and gambled not to DCA in 2021 and saved it for a down year like this. I feel really good buying index funds at 30% off.

Glad I have zero mortgage, zero credit cards, zero loans. No debt whatsoever. However my stocks are down but that's something I can stomach especially when everything is on sale and I'll continue to dca in.

Honestly, that S&P chart makes a strong argument for dollar cost averaging and buying bulk during down years. My math maybe a bit off, but every 30 years seems to offer 7-9 opportunities to lower your base price for your total investment – or at least twice per decade. Call me lazy, but I think that's a smart bet.
I keep buying and averaging down. I’m not worried at all . 10 year hold on 6 total stocks. I’m comfortable with my decisions. I always comment on just titles. Lol I need to start watching first. 😀 appreciate the videos .

I understand the "don't time the mkt" thing but it seems the probability of recession -especially Europe – and hence stocks to go lower is so high, how can you not allege your positions significantly? It may take a decade to recover for the ones who recently went invested
Every month religiously i put into my s&p 500 index fund. Other than that im holding 8 of my 10 plays & cashing out 2 of my riskier plays in the coming months. Cashing up for the inevitable hard recession next year 👍
