The short illegally colluded with each other once again to stop AMC and Gamestop from squeezing yesterday. But how will this collusion plan ultimately fail causing the squeeze?
Yesterday the shorts pumped HKD to generate additional collateral and used all 90m of their borrowed shares last week to short the stock back down. This was also timed with a media campaign used as a catalyst to convince retail investors to buy call options to steal their premiums.
However, both Gamestop and AMC will slowly grind over $30 in the next few months causing margin calls and liquidations, as they have now used these borrowed shares and can no longer create chinese IPO companies.
