SMCI provides solutions to NVIDIA, AMD, Intel (three major players in chip industry) in building data centres. They have got a competitive moat while its clients are competing amongst themselves. So, I guess they are not a shit company but definitely overvalued.

14 months or so ago i was trading SMCI alot in 2022, had 100 shares at 54 sold at 62 thought i was cool now look. great company especially in the 50s,wow think about that, so i havent touched it sucks but i never understood the fast rise and hey maybe im wrong

Did this guy make a video on why he is so bearish on smci? Fundamentally it’s not a bad stock. Overvalued is subjective. Going by p/e or p/s nvda is much more expensive than smci.
A 15% move in nvda is over 150b in market cap. That’s 3x more than the entire market cap of smci. Not that confusing to see smci up 25% tbh.
NVDA’s next significant low will certainly be lower than were it trades right now. Last low being 108.

SMCI beat its earnings tho
All AI stocks are overvalued in my opinion. I understand it this way, if someone just hand me an NVDA card (chip), it does nothing, I need a PC to pair with it. SMCI is that PC builder- since these chips runs hot, you need a good power and cooling solution (much more complicated than a PC). They are working with NVDA and AMD (and Intel i think) – Taiwanese buddies – they will sell if either of them wins the AI race. There are other server management companies as competitors such as HP or Dell or IBM etc, but they don't seem to have the biz opportunity to the AI infrastructure yet.
I think Nasdaq is $1 min requirement
Did great on RIVN short today but doesn't make up for going long on PANW at $299…

Not sure why SMCI is jumping higher than NVDA. SMCI is up approx 35% today at $1000 towards the closing bell!
This is a prep to short once I get confirmation. Waiting for this short to play out like last time! Staying patient!
