Agree with Abishek, there is SIGNIFICANT near-term and maybe even long term risk in Tesla's physical role in Germany (energy shortages/price) and China (political interference/energy/competition). But I am a Teslarati still, and the fairly certain secondary technology values interest me a lot more than just the car company. Possible more.

When the recession hits, its going to hit the consumers who prefer teslas the hardest. These people arent going to be able to afford their tesla's anymore and sell them. This is going to have an exaggerated effect on Tesla demand because the secondary market tesla's will eat into new tesla demand considerably.

Hey Mr. Ford! Stick to making Fossil Fuel cars. The EV's are not as safe, not as reliable, not as affordable to maintain, and not as affordable to buy. EV's are a disaster! Stay out of that Socialist Utopia market and stick to making cars that run reliably and safely.
But you forgot Tesla is overhyped when it comes to stock price, when the hype is gone it will fall to its real value which is little bit higher than GM stock, so they will lose the most. 😢
Tesla PE ratio at 55 in 2025?
The near future demand is for high mpg vehicles, including hybrids. Full electric will not be in high demand for at least 10 to 20 more years. IMO Tesla needs to tap into the hybrid market while the company still has equity for leverage. (CEO Musk is a genius for figuring out how to bypass dealerships. He needs to realize the gas and hybrid markets are not going away any time soon.)

I work in automobile industry it’s coming writing is on the wall I work in a machining shop two biggest contracts are for ford bronco front end transmissions and F-350 ford bronco orders dropped off a cliff just two weeks ago other contracts are Toyota and Harley thank God my wife works in healthcare

I’m certain I am not the only person who ordered a model 3 and has refused to take delivery until 2023. It’s the obvious thing to do with the tax rebate. Is there some reason that this is not an obvious factor in inventory buildup?
I sold everything a long time ago lol. As soon as interest rates were going up. Only buying good cheap companies. I would've lost so much if I held it. Rather report losses for taxes and regain those losses later.
