Puts, calls… it’s really hard to win on TSLA unless you’re rich and lucky. Because damn even today my 1130 got destroyed, but last week, my 1125 ran EOD but I sold at a loss before it pumped. I hate it. It’s impossible to time tesla and it’s too late for shares. I think I just need to let it go, all it ever does is rob me no matter which direction I take or how much I spend on a call.
I put 30k in the market last year then it went down to 9 grand, but I did make the right decisions on all but my amazon puts, I would have only lost about 5 k if I would have cut losses. I had roku calls I held for about 2 months, and when they finally turned around into a 1400 profit I sold, if I held for 2 more weeks each one would have been worth about 1700 dollars each. I had 6 that I had paid about 1200 dollars in total for. I just had my timing wrong on most of my bets. They all went the way I thought they would eventually. That is why I only use leaps and pmcc now. I recovered from 9 thousand back to 45 thousand so far since November 2020. Yolo is great if you hit it perfectly, but if you miss you lose everything.

His biggest error was buying options rather than selling them. He went for the gamble and lost instead of covering his bases with assets
To be honest, if you've got these amounts of money to put into Robinhood you must have uber-rich parents. Nobody but nobody who works their ass to the bone to save $600k would then put it all in Robinhood. It's just not a feasible scenario.

I actually made about $600k from March to September then did some more yolo plays that sank all but $32k of the $762k I had at its high.. pretty killer.. I traded a total of $17 million dollars in that time frame tho. Haha!! Got killed big time. Oh well it was fun.

If those dudes just spent time diversifying their income strategies they wouldn't be losing entire portfolios like this
You can short it you just have to scalp it and cut your losses quick if it goes the wrong way. I got into 685 strike calls week before last and sold way too soon but made some decent cash then when Tesla was hovering 714 thurs and got some 710 same day exp puts for 2.30 and sold for 6.30 early too they hit 9.50
