Why is Maxine Waters, who demonstrates very little understanding of how the markets work, in such a position? Please don't make this about gender or race, only about understanding and knowledge. The disclosure doesn't include specific individual job responsibilities within the company, but also the company as a whole (as they are perceived as financial advisors…all of the employees). It also is used as a deterrent to insider trading and other illegal schemes.
As a CPA that's worked as 3 of the 4 big CPA firms, I can attest that we are held to strict standards such as these….are you saying that professional investment advisors are not held to the same standards in profession investment advisement firms? SUS.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA we tried to cheat (and incidentally destry a company that employs a lot of real people) but we failed because our story was bullshit. All Keith Gill did is recognize the bullshit behind the ridiculous short position so he bet against them. He was right, hedgies were wrong. But you know what, since we are shining a spotlight on it, lets toss all the hedge fund employees and owners into jail for stock manipulation. It's still a crime to steal even if you get caught and lose.
