Hey everyone welcome back to another market, open live stream, so i have the good old max doing it again to me. I don't know what it is with apple and expensive products, but they just suck. Sometimes it's so annoying, and it's so weird because this computer it just it it for some reason: it doesn't even want to go to google like the way it crashes just working on it. Uh everything else works whatever i'll get this up uh in a moment here, but in the meantime, let's go ahead and get started talking about what the heck is going on in the market very interesting sell-off.

Yesterday, at the end of the day, i was reading a little bit in uh bloomberg, uh quite a bit. Well i mean i read a lot every day in bloomberg and uh last night. One of the things i came across was that hedge funds are uh, really really exposed to tech stocks that one of uh by one measure, then they've not been exposed to this many tech stocks since 2002, uh attacking high growth, so their measure of of tech and High growth was anything with over a 10 times, uh sales to market cap ratio, which was uh really incredible, and it wouldn't surprise me that you had a lot of hedge funds that piled into tech really late this year, uh it mostly because we've seen some softness Intact throughout the middle of the year, uh, so a late pile on, and now you get a little bit of a freak out, because uh you're getting a bit of a pullback in some of the higher evaluation names, especially uh, the the finance uh related stocks. So i thought that was very interesting.

Uh, we'll see how uh today ends up going. Let's see, let me see if i can get this thing. Oh yep, here we go aha, perfect much better. There we go okay, perfect.

Can we leave that? Oh, so much better hold that so anyway, uh yeah, let's go ahead and take a look and see uh what we've got going on today, uh first, i do want to take a quick peek here at crypto, so we've got taxes softening a little bit: 56. 8 uh for bitcoin ethereum, really holding on, though be difficult to get ethereum under a 4 000. It's really incredible. Just super super strong support for ethereum, a lot of by the dipping happening.

Every time we get even close to 4 000 uh, which is very impressive. So uh, then we've got uh ethereum well yeah ethereum sitting at 41, 81 yeah bitcoin, 56, 796. uh tether uh. I mean tether's, always at one dollar plus or minus a tiny little fraction.

Sheep. 42. 33. Let's see here, dogecoin uh point 22: it's interesting! The the the divergence you have in sheba and uh doge again here, uh and then of course, some other moves here, mana up at the seven percent again here a lot of excitement over uh, the metaverse still uh, oh wow, that's crazy! I was gon na post a video yesterday on sand uh and i didn't do it.

I should have done it uh, because it's up 33 now, oh well, i didn't buy any but um yeah. I had a pretty thorough video on on some catalyst coming up, but anyway uh, maybe i'll post, that a little later so uh okay, then we've got. Let's see we did have biden releasing oil from our strategic oil reserve in coordination with multiple other companies. Uh.
Opec is not expected to be very happy about this, though. What are they going to? Do is kind of the expectation, so uh the expectation or the hope here is that this will send a signal that you've got countries uh responding to high oil and energy prices and that maybe this will send a signal to their constituents, whether that's americans or canadians Or whatever that we're like something is being done to try to lower oil prices to to make things a little bit more affordable, given the madness that we've seen uh, you know, if we jump on over to oil, we um waiting for the darn thing to pull Up there we go. If we jump on over to oil, we actually don't really see a decline in oil prices uh at least yeah, so it'll be interesting. Maybe maybe it'll just be a matter of time before we actually hit the markets, but i'm surprised there was no sort of uh pre-pricing in so maybe it's just not enough to even make a difference with the uptrend that we've mostly had that's another thing.

So, like you could release oil from the strategic oil reserve, but you're in such an uptrend that what you're really doing is you're just taking a little bit of uh trend away from from the uptrend um yeah, who knows uh, okay, so uh. Let's go ahead and pop over to uh stocks, see what we got over here, all righty, let's see! What's selling off today so uh! First of all, we got x, ping motors, uh, xpev up uh, four point: three percent: it's pretty good uh in the pre-market here. A lot of excitement over the suv reveal you had this excitement yesterday as well that uh that that uh certainly helped the ev sector. You've got tesla up 1.49 and neo up 1.2, a lot of uh screaming or ripping green here 23 and me up three percent natalia's up a little bit.

Let's go look at the downside, so this is insane right here. This is a zoom problem. This to me was was one of the weirdest things we could have seen happen in the stock market, and i mean we've seen some weird stuff happen, but uh honestly, we kind of saw it happen a little bit. It's not that big of a surprise but zoom reports, earnings zoom out of nowhere, comes out with a triple beat yesterday triple b, so that's forecast b revenue beat bottom line b like you could not be unhappy with with those earnings and the stock jumps.

Like seven percent in the after hours, potentially after the earnings call, who knows maybe something special was said - i didn't see anything particularly on what they said. But then again i didn't also read the report so who knows? But anyway you get an 11 decline. So you literally went from a 7 gain to an 11 decline. That's a swing of 18! That's crazy! Somebody here donated two dollars to ask why they can't send a message.

You we've got to be a member to send a message. Just click the little join button. Next to subscribe, if you're on an ipad or iphone the join button won't show up, you have to be on a desktop, there's a login and then there's a join button next to the subscribe button, and then you can join all right so uh yeah. That was that was kooky for coco puffs there on zoom uh camber energy.
Yesterday was obviously up like 19 20 percent 19.8. It is pulling back a little bit five percent today, a little bit bit of a give back cloud flare back down 3.19, a firm uh down again here in the pre-market sitting down about 1.9 percent docusign down about 1.88 trade desk down 178 uh, also rotating down A little bit here so we're still noticing some of that. Some of that pain, at least in fintech. Some of that pain again in software companies.

Look at this square down. 1.33. You've got let's find out what else we got here. Software c3i down percent snowflake down a percent activision is, is down 0.93.

What else here? Let's see open door etsy down point four, it's actually so far, pretty benign, i'm very curious to see how the market actually opens, though, because uh remember, if institutions were selling off substantially into the close yesterday, their behavior this morning, i feel like is really going to Set the stage for the day so especially if, if you're somebody who's trading uh well, i was like where's the darn thing. Oh one sec, let's see here, oh there, it is okay! Sorry i uh! I have this little record window that i need over here there. We go, but it went to another monitor that was hidden. Okay, not that you care doesn't matter problem solved, but uh yeah this.

This will really. This will really be a little bit of a tell uh how we open uh, because uh, i think, if we get a big sort of sell-off here in the morning, uh right when we open, i wouldn't be surprised to see a similar kind of sell-off going into The afternoon, especially as we kind of get that fear, uncertainty and doubt that starts spreading through the uh, the media uh, i need a prescription stock, doc kevin. That's fine! Thank you hold on. Let me get my prescription pad here.

We go got my uh prescription pad right here. All right, i need a prescription. Do i sell out a lemonade and take the loss and move on to better things? Please help uh yeah. So here's what i did i uh.

I closed my uh. All of the shares that i have in lemonade, uh at about was 62 bucks or whatever i sold all my shares. Uh i've made quite a bit of money trading on lemonade, but on my last share transaction, i i took a. I took the l of about like what no i bought.

It was 72., so about 10 bucks, a share which kind of sucked uh. So you know that was there was a little shave uh. So i still, though, have some options. I've got like 80k and options on lemonade and i don't know why, but for some reason i feel possessed not to take the like 40 loss or whatever on that option and like hopium that that lemonade's going to come back, i think it's um.
I think it's more emotion than logic, but so i i don't necessarily want to sell, say, sell it, because we've also sold off quite a bit and it makes you wonder, like hey. Have we potentially hit a bottom on lemonade, and certainly i can't give financial advice, but you know personally uh i uh another thing that i've considered doing is just sell and if we get an indication that we're starting to kind of u-turn back up uh, then maybe Rotate at that point wow really. I can't even get lemonade to load where's the darn thing. Uh, that's potential, uh, that's a potential as well.

The downside of that is you might you might not be able to declare any tax losses if you buy within 30 days? You uh might not find another opportunity soon uh. It could u-turn to the upside much faster than we think. But you know here's. The other thing that's that's worth noting.

Is you do not necessarily like stocks? Don't necessarily have to go back to where they were, and that's a big thing that i think sometimes we forget so for me, you know if this is so: let's, let's do the math, 70 um well i'll, be like 0.07 divided by 27., so yeah, if it's Like less than a percent of your portfolio, maybe it doesn't matter if it's something that's like 10 plus percent of your portfolio, maybe it makes sense to start kind of trimming a little bit um unless you believe that it's going to come back, that's the way. I'd look at it. It comes down to your belief right because if you do nothing and it goes down to 30 dollars and you're like man now i'm a cell. Well then, that sucks, if uh, if you sell and it starts running again and you're like man, i wish i was still in that stock.

Well then, you also sold for the wrong reason right, uh like if, if you really really still like the company, then diamond hands uh if you've lost faith or your motivations have changed and then maybe it's time to go anyway. So, let's see here when life gives you lemonade, salad. Writing you a prescription for two cups of coffee. Thank you i'll start with one.

The worst is staying in a trade just to prove it uh. Yes, i agree. I agree i think, staying in a trade just to prove it i think, is terrible. I agree with you uh.

You know you you'd have to have some form of like lingering optimism that that maybe you're you're missing something but uh usually um. Well, i don't want to say usually so, never mind so anywho uh, okay. What else do we have here? Let's see here, uh, oh xl fleet, let's see what's going on with xl fleet here today, yeah elon's tweets are funny okay, so well, let's get the terminal up. So this will take a second uh yeah.

What's pounds here, doing we'll look at pounds here too. So xl fleet palantir well for some reason everything loads except the little search tonight. On stocks, that's okay, it's probably another little funky weeble bug there. We go okay, whatever uh, so palantir's up uh! Well, that's interesting.
Weeble says 0.63 and google says uh. 0.58 percent. That's it's good, at least at least you've had a little bit of life, a little life in it all right. So, let's see here we're going to find out what's going on with excel fleet but otherwise similar similar movement.

So far that we saw yesterday, which is a little bit of pressure, uh a little bit of uh volatility, increase some pressure on the finance names and software names see look at this a firm 2.59 percent software like cloud three percent here, the finance and fintech. This is where you're starting to have a little bit of an issue, and we've seen this now for the last. Maybe honestly, we've been watching if we think about square. If we think about paypal, these guys have been selling down for about a week and a half.

It's really just started spreading to sofie and affirm, and some of these others, and so, if anything, that that rotation is is kind of accelerating. At the moment, we shall see how it ends up going. I am looking for opportunities to buy the dip, though, on fintech and uh just finance financial companies in general. Like can we finally hit a bottom on paypal, for example, and then is there an opportunity to buy it same thing for square? Let's take a look here: paypal yeah paypal down another 0.49 percent here in the morning and hood, which is another one, that's been getting wrecked and they have a lock up opening up soon.

I think it's gon na be devastating where's. The darn thing i don't know how i can't see it there. It is uh down about a half percent again, so that that'll be an interesting one. Okay, excel fleet, okay, so xl fleet just hit a record low.

Yesterday, uh 4.63, then xl fleet was awarded a pilot pilot project with the department of defense to prototype fuel saving technology for tactical vehicles. Well, that's pretty cool, so in other words, you guys are failing so miserably here. We'll give you something to do. It'll make us seem like we care about saving gas and it'll.

Give you guys something to do because you're sucking sorry, that's like a really mean summary, but uh. When i hear prototype with military, i don't really care uh, but hey. You know what uh it's up! Fourteen percent - that's good! It's uh back from the dead a little bit all right. Let's see here, hmm oasis labs, just partnered with meta, says uh says mark here and their crypto rose.

Dollar sign rose, jumped huh, oasis labs and they partnered with facebook. Oh look at that. Let's see oasis oasis labs, wonder why they'd partner with uh, let's see here see i don't see that so you'd think. If there was like a partnership, it would show up oasis, yeah i'll look into that, but we'll circle back on that, like gen saki, we'll circle back okay, so, let's see here, wall street cuts their price target for zoom yep.
Okay, let's see, let's get a bloomberg, see what the recommendations and the news of the day is all right. Okay, so we talked about the uh opec release. Oh, let's grab uh yields really quick too last i checked they were up a little bit. Yeah.

Look at that 1.64 again best buy tumbles after joining retailers and posting declining gross margin. Oh, let's see here best buy stock, oh wow, 13.7 ouch getting squeezed by the supply chains and the shipping crises there. Inflation is raging everywhere, but it's worse than latin america yeah. You know uh.

Well, i mean turkey. Turkey's lira, like just got destroyed over the last 24 hours because they're almost at 24 or i'm sorry, 20 inflation. Then you've got brazil, that's like at uh! Well, i think they're they're, almost at 10, it's like 9.6, or something incredible so yeah. I believe that hmm all right here we go.

What's this a warning for investors chasing high-flying tech stocks uh? What do we got here? Bond yields on the rise again serving a reminder to tech. Investors of the need to guard against unwelcome surprises, well see a lot of investors, just don't care about fluctuations. They see them as by the dip opportunities, which is honestly a good thing, because higher rates tend to discount the present value of future profits. Tech stocks for the highest values tend to suffer most, as witnessed in the 1.2 percent drop on monday biggest laguards.

On the gauge, including included three fast growing and unprofitable companies, crowdstrike atlassian and docusign all have become richly valued on the back of their growth potential trading at 23 to 38 times estimated annual sales. Remember what i said bloomberg said earlier. Anything over 10 uh was uh. Was something that would qualify you as as an expensive company historically expensive? I suppose, but anyway, the action could be a preview of what's to come for some of tech's high flyers.

Should interest rates continue to climb goldman sachs? Has a similar view avoid fast-growing firms valued entirely on long-term growth expectations, which will be more vulnerable to the risk of rising rates. Profit margins such as mastercard, meta platforms, autodesk and zoom uh are are instead recommendations that uh. Here's somebody gives, i don't know, do i really want to buy facebook? No, not really it's so weird calling in meta. I did no.

The consensus estimate for mastercard's profit margin is 47 with others around 30. Their valuations are based on 12 month forward sales and are about half as pricey as loss-making tech companies. Nice bank of america is also wary. Investors can expect a rates shock and one of their lead.

Strategist says we are looking at a mother of all bubbles in cryptocurrency and tech stocks, yikes mother of all bubbles. In the meantime, next door is up. Six percent d-wack is uh. Coming back up a little bit here, cleverleaf 2.28 quantum size up a little btx marathon.
Digital, what else we have here - arrival 1.4 through tesla one and a quarter so shocking tesla's, just moving and moving moving in this market downside, vinco, zoom doordash, dick sporting goods, cloudflare root, archimoto arkamoto. I feel like it's been sitting at ten dollars forever. Ever, let's go! Listen to jim yell for a second prize contracts, which are much more valuable. They did not have enough big enterprise contracts, they do have a lot of cash yeah uh, but the fact is david.

This is not docusign, which is managed to transition. There are a lot of people in this business. Uh take a look right. Five nine has performed better but jim.

What about microsoft? I guess becomes the question and teams and the competition that really poses, particularly in the enterprise. Microsoft can lose a huge amount of money on teams which they're not and eviscerate. Everybody else microsoft's has great growing gross margins uh because of their core business. Now that this is one that is again it's very very inflatable, but if it's going to deliver better gross margins and better revenues, it's still going to go higher yeah after comes in.

You come back and you buy this because this one is not going to miss people, don't sell it much and by the way, retail is not as bad as what people do in the stocks. So, okay, don't jump everything all right. We won't we'll get a chance to talk a lot. I want to talk about the stock market.

You will you uh earlier blacklisted me. I love jim. Just don't, dump everything uh, don't dump everything. Oh, my gosh, you know uh it's it's kind of like the uh yeah.

I always go back to that. Bear stearns example uh. You know it was at what 60 bucks in 2008 in like march of 2008. I i and i'm sure he has trouble shaking this one too, but it's just don't sell, don't sell bears turns, is great, don't sell, don't sell your money's safe with bear stearns sells like the next month for ten dollars a share or like one-sixth uh to jp Morgan in an acquisition in a bailout acquisition - ah oops, all right, let's see what else do we have? Hmm? Okay, we're talking about inflation.

The open is going to be key here. That's that's just my take on on today's market. I think the open is really going to guide us if the open is benign, it could be a good thing. Nice, relax open would be nice if we get some big drama at the beginning, whether it's a a big boost or or a sell-off.

It could really set the stage for what's to come the rest of the day, but i really think you've got a lot of institutions that are we'll be able to see how they're, acting at the more in the morning, but uh we'll hear from them. Throughout the day and uh hearing from from them, whether they're, either positive or negative, i think will be um very fascinating. One investor makes a quick 582 million in the evergrand fire sale. The buyer of china evergrand stake in hanging 10 networks is sitting on a paper.
Profit of 582 million after the search after the shares surged in the wake of the sale wow, someone agreed to buy evergren's 18 stake in the internet service firm for 273 million dollars. The stock has since rallied almost 140. Oh my gosh! That's awesome! Oh wow! Well, good for them see: that's that's when you want to go deal shopping, you know it's like. Do you really want to invest to make 10 or do you want to invest when, when there's blood in the streets all right? Well, let's see here we got uh.

Three and a half minutes to the bell: um chinese eevee maker xping pushed to deeper losses as expenses rise. Yet the stocks going up. I love it. So, let's see electric vehicle maker x being reported.

A bigger loss than the market was expecting for the third quarter. As costs related to research and development and selling expenses jumped the dual listed company unveiled a loss of 249 million dollars for three months through september versus a about third, less of a loss. Earlier analysts on average had forecast uh well less velocity uh revenue increase beating the company's expectations. Okay.

So that's probably why you're seeing a movement in the stock, so revenue increase, beating the guidance and gross margin for uh. The last three month period was 14.4 percent better than the second quarter is 11 and the 13 percent the market expected. So this right here is really important. This margin right here specifically because i think folks are - are pricing lucid and uh and rivian so incredibly high.

Without considering the fact that their their margins have a lot to prove a lot to prove um so we'll see - and i mean next year - is, in my opinion, going to be the year of crappy margins, probably all year long for lucid rivian and when they fall Out of the tech or sort of the the ev favored cycle uh, you know, i think, that's when you buy the dip. So i would like, if i were going to write a prescription on on lucid and rivien. My lucid uh and rivian prescription would be wait for symptoms to show uh, which symptoms would be defined as a uh, a fifty percent decline from where we are now, which would be like twenty five dollars a share for lucid, and you know seventy bucks or whatever For rivian, uh and uh, maybe even a little less for ribbon more like sixty dollars per review, then take daily dose then take daily, and then you take the prescription here and you file it with the pharmacy. There we go all right, so we got one more minute to go.

Uh inflow, outflows like the s p flows, that's the bloomberg terminal for you. Smp flows, uh arc flows. Whatever you want weekly flows, let's go with i'll, go with a bar chart and i get a new one. Ah takes a moment to load i'll, come back to it, but yeah it's it's all in terminal, so anyway, um okay! Here we go 20 seconds to the opening bell.
I think this is gon na be a little bit of a tell, but it could not be. Who knows uh. All i know is that there is an amazing black friday, coupon code linked down below that expires. Friday.

Imagine that and you should take advantage of it before friday. So that way you don't forget all right. Let's listen go! Do things that that's the point. The point is not to get the booster and stay at home and watch netflix and play video games.

You get the boosters in your life, that's the point of the boost, but okay, so this open is very even that's like a 50 50 open right there, but but but but look at that open folks. Look at that! Tesla! Look at that! Tesla start dropping uh out of the gate here. Let's uh, let's see how some other things are because tesla might not necessarily be the the best example x, uh exile fleets, holding on next door. Next door is going up.

That's doge hold on playboy rotating up, okay zoom selling down it did run into the pre into the open here, selling down root insurance, plummeting bad sign for some of the other stocks uh that are insured. Well, i wonder, what's happening to root honestly. Best buy dropped. 17 at open, ouch uh.

Let me see if there was news on on route wayfair, my goodness uh camber is dropping five five snowflake, oh getting the pinwheel a snowflake plummeting here at the open about four percent. Let's see doordash doordash actually going up a little bit, not a very clear signal here, either way. Cloudflare that looks like it's actually recovering a little bit. Well, it did for a moment.

Hmm tattooed chef down, here's nvidia. What's this one doing oh gosh, i click cloudflare. Pretty very mixed: it kind of it's kind of like what we saw there on the smp very 50 50. It's like do we sell.

Do we buy the dip trying to get nvidia up here, but gosh trying to chase it on here is a little funny there. We go. Oh it didn't click. Ah click.

I don't know what's up with weeble today, oh my gosh. It is so bad today, that's all right. Whatever i see it's down about two point, one seven percent uh hoods down another about two perc two point: one percent yeah we're really looking for inflection in these movements here see this is end phase kind of starting on that path. Down so far actually looks like it's recovering.

This is that 50 50 market we're getting right now, hello, weeble, no, it's taking weeble, so long uh. Could we just i mean the internet seems streaming connection seems fine. I don't know what it is with with weebs. Here there we go uh so far: okay, little rotation down.

There is no very clear signal here: western digital up, four, almost five percent. This was moving a little bit riot blockchain coming up three percent zom. Three percent. Look at this folks, this is this is interesting.
People are coming back in to buy the dip etsy up three percent very interesting. It's another sign that maybe there's still so much money around you. Don't necessarily have to have a continued sell-off, so they're going to buy the dip consolidated into the names that are doing well. Matterport's up 1.15 went up point.

Eight five percent huh tesla stood in that point. Seven zoom fell more twelve percent. Dix fell more at seven snowflake three-ish rivien. Three to the downside.

Three point: six stock: you signed two seven canoe, two one, but it did really well over the last couple days. Upstart is almost under 200. That's honestly what it kind of needs: uh, upstart! Oh, it touched under 200 look at that it hit 199. wow fascinating.

Here's a lemonade down 1.8 percent somewhat pulling down a little bit: hmm wow xl fleet, now up 20, it was up 14 percent in the pre-market x-ping on the margin and revenue beat all of a sudden. Is rotating up? Look at this! What a weird market! Folks! Oh, my gosh x-ping is just ripping right. Now, it's up almost seven percent etsy's sitting at 3.8. It's just running again.

You have uh lucids up 2.5, a firm's coming back. A firm went to 118 yesterday now it's at 126 coming back wow, matterport, 1.4 zillow, 1.13. Dropbox one virgin galactic one: it's not 17, though wow 17 for virgin galactic. Oh my gosh, i saw an electro mechanica yesterday that was so cool hold on.

Let me see if i can find a picture of it. Actually it should be the last picture. I have yeah, it was so cool uh. I don't know that i would want to ride it like it was scary, but i guess it was cool.

Look at that solo. The thing is tiny. Look how much a larger it looks in the front in the front. It looks quite large, but in the back it has a little single wheel and a motorcycle plate and looks tiny in the back.

It's such an interesting little car - i i don't know what to think of it. I i don't. I don't know that i really like it, i'm not sure i would get in it uh other than than to maybe say i got in it. I don't think i would want to drive around in it.

I don't know, i don't know what to make of it. Uh, here's etsy rotating down a little bit again. Uh, let's go to spy. Let's see oh interesting, smp falling! Hmm, let's see here.

Let's look at the indices. Well, they're, all red they're, all red. We don't know the russell yet for sure, but we expect it'll be red dao down 0.06 0.16 on the s p, nasdaq's down point three: nine uh, let's see so we're definitely red. Today, stocks open little change after monday's afternoon slide.

Well, yeah, i mean, i suppose little i mean look at this. Look at cloudflare come back. It's uh! Look at that cloudflare coming back end phase is coming back too. This is so interesting.

Pallet here, uh still down a percent uh but also looks like it's trying to make a little push very i'm gon na i'm gon na look at some historic volatility here, because this quite interesting, let's see here, let's do yesterday. I noticed by the way, a plummet in tesla's historic volatility and i'm like what it's happening, but let's do a little bit of historic volatility here, uh. If you have any tickers, you want me to look at uh, maybe just for like a tiny little bit to throw a couple names up so uh historic volatility on the 10 day at tesla's at 42.8. That's down that's under its 100-day average of 45., so it had.
You know it's not like at all time lows, but it's it's certainly fallen a lot value stocks getting rinsed. I love that uh value. Let's see something that yeah well. Corsair just continues to fall.

So uh end phase is at 61., it's pretty much. On average, with its 100-day paypal, yeah paypal did fall yesterday. Let me see what it is now uh. Oh, you know what we should do is we should do this in about 10 minutes, because this is still we don't actually have the new volatility yet yeah.

We still have yesterday's vol. Let's, let's come back, i see some of your names here. We'll come back to these, so maybe just hold on with with the tickers. Let's wait, another five minutes and we'll come back and we'll do a historic volatility, because otherwise we're just going to get yesterday's info in it.

I'd rather i'd rather get today's. It takes about 15 minutes for the new volatility to show up. Wow look at excel fleet run now 26 got ta love those prototypes. You know, maybe they could like ask nicola to do a drawing for them.

Sorry, that's so mean oh well, uh, x, ping. Seven point: five: five percent lucid coming back four point: eight percent arrival up three 3.7 affirms coming back about three percent. Oh my gosh, you can't keep these things down. That's a good test, though, for a firm bouncing off 118 like that really good little support there.

A good support test, it's good for creating at least some more confidence in in temporary value, knowing kind of where to buy the dip in the future. I'm still not jumping up and down on buying dips, not yet, but the time will come in the meantime. I yesterday sold a little bit and remember every time you want to buy, sell or you want to know what i'm buying or selling, whether it's crypto or stocks or options you get those in the stocks and psychology money group a lot of people by the way. Bundling up with uh with the other groups stocks, the psychology of money, there's uh real estate, investing that's the most popular bundle, although uh some people also grab the real estate, investing zero to millionaire youtube and stocks and psychology money, but anyway check that out with the Black friday coupon zoom down about 14, now vinco ventures 11..

I want to know what happened to vinco: let's pull up vidcon, we'll i'll, keep up historic volatility and come back to this vinco ventures. Let's see what's happening with vinco honest company getting destroyed another three percent of the downside, vinco ventures tumbles as q3 losses widen their eps was a loss of 7.59. They had a loss of 30 cents. A year ago, oops and their revenue came in at 2.2 million versus 2.5 expected oops higher spending with revenue falling yeah.
Generally people don't like that. Let's try dicks x, let's see here, you missed yesterday's course, member stream. Well, you should go back and watch it. Big explanation in it it was great.

Let's look at news on dicks dicks net sales rise 13. So what happened? Eps came in fiscal year. Eps uh raises fiscal year view to adjusted 14.6 to 14.8. Okay revenue inventory up 7.

7.3 ended the quarter with 1.3 billion. In cash gross margin was 38.45, eps came in with a good beat 3.19 versus two expected. I mean that's great, i don't understand it beat on on net sales as well. It beat on sales, it beat on the bottom line uh.

I i don't quite understand why, but uh behrens has a piece on it: dick's sporting, good earnings blue pass forecast. The stock is down anyway yeah, so baron says that uh eps b same store sales beat substantially so comp sales way up. They literally do not provide a reason for this. That's strange so dick's sporting goods with a triple beat and yet the sell down, makes you wonder if it's uh, if it's like a covered, pull down or cover drawdown, we are seeing a little bit of that.

You know nordstrom gap. Even macy's has seen a little bit of a drawdown, uh yeah folks, beachbody i've mentioned this a few times actually quite a lot. I keep saying that just because it's spacked with some arbitrary valuation at ten dollars does not mean that this cannot go under a dollar like. It could literally continue to bleed out until it gets to under a dollar uh and, and it could continue to bleed from there.

The problem is when it goes down so much. It is sometimes it actually creates more fear and uncertainty and doubt because their capacity for raising capital is restrained. If you are a company and your stock is two dollars, you know to raise money, you have to issue a ton of shares uh, so the dilutive effect would be bad and then you're not raising that much. The stock market basically closes its doors to you being able to raise money.

Your bond rates probably also go up because bond investors are like hey um. You know we're we're not going to give you as greater rates because your stocks falling. Why does that matter? Because? Well, it sends the signal that ultimately you're more of a risk, because you won't have that well to go to so to speak. Look at xl fleet wow thoughts on delta airlines for december seems oddly loaded.

We need to recover uh. Oh, why flights are low or cheap. I i have no idea what they might be cheap, i'll uh. Let me see i'll look, maybe maybe bookings.
I mean it's a supply and demand thing right. If uh bookings plummet, they'll lower their prices, uh virgin atlantic sees strong christmas thanksgiving travel to challenge airlines as demand returns. Well, that doesn't make sense. I mean this is all suggesting up yeah.

I i don't see a particular reason why there might be uh what what feels like cheaper than pricing at delta hold on. What's the breaking news hq with our november preliminary read on market pmis 59.1 is our preliminary november read on manufacturing sequentially following in october 58.4? 57.0 on the service pmi, that is a bit less than expected and sequentially less than october's 58.7, and if we look at the composite 56.5 also missed and sequentially lower than our last look at 57.6. Now our pmis are closer to 60 than many of the european pmis that came out today, but they did all accelerate sequentially uh ahead of their october. Okay, that's not so exciting! I mean nothing dramatic there relatively close expectations.

Look at us the s! P! 500! It's coming back so paypal, oh, my gosh paypal is green. Is this? Is this the return? Is this the return of of the stocks? Look at this 28 on robin hood and we're going green uh paypal nvidia up a little bit here, google up a little bit interesting, zoom's getting killed down 15, but you're. Definitely getting a little bit of a pull up here. Let's see huh okay x pays 11 percent now, my goodness loosens up six percent matterport's up five percent rivian's up four point: four seven affirms up three point: seven etsy up three point: one neo three.

Ah the mark. Okay, this this is the market being happy again. Look at that 1.89, it seems to me like covet. Stocks are a little bit of the play today that uh that's selling off more covenant and suretech uh, so which is interesting, but i mean, like you, have this such a mix, so you have retail selling down but zoom also selling down, but then again, zoom has Its own little zooms in its own little bubble of valuation so far down it's still down about 1.33, so you're still down on sofi no recovery.

Yet here, hmm energy's buried here in the middle along with pinterest and target visa cloudflare, went positive again: 1.86 uh alphabets back up a quarter and very interesting. Look at that. A firm move, yeah! Look at that a firm rotating nicely back up and jumping over to hood again see if we get that to load now we'll come back. Oh, let's do a little historic volatility.

Let's see what we got in historic volatility, so, let's see if it updated. Okay, pretty much flat for paypal, so paypal still slightly elevated on its hundred day. So still up, let's see if tesla's updated, tesla falling more tesla now at 39 versus its hundred day at 44.. That's another about five points.

Uh that tesla just fell. What's uh, then what i think we're gon na do like end phase etsy roblox i saw somebody asked for and face and face is still elevated 56. But it's it's slightly below 100, a let's look at airbnb, airbnb, yeah. Here's, your s, p, nvidia! Yeah! Look at that recovery on nvidia.
What did you fall to yesterday? Oh, the the lowest price was actually right at open this morning. The 310 and uh that got bought up right away. Volatility is definitely up on airbnb. Let's try.

Nvidia video is elevated 1k to fomo, which stock. Oh, my gosh, uh yeah. We started talking about zoom now making sense, but anyway remember when volatility is high. Sometimes that's an opportunity, as long as it aligns with other things, to uh to sell things like puts, sell, puts, sell, calls when volatility is low and you expect it to potentially run up.

I like to i like to buy options when volatility is lower. It's not always uh, but it's it can sometimes be a good rule of thumb. Turkish central bank says it can only intervene at times of extreme volatility. No comment regarding the exchange rates yeah the lira, like plummeting.

How could you have no comment on that yeah jules? I think you're missing the point here i didn't say: tesla fell in stock and we're talking volatility here. Go relax man we're looking at the volatility chart uh all right. Let me look up rivian's volatility, that one should have settled down a little bit that it is. It's slowly coming down, but it's like that's so crazy, guys, it's like 216., how about lucid, don't been all over the place.

Oh yeah loose. It's still at all-time. Highs like this would be like probably some of the most expensive call buying that you could be doing all right, so nvidia, coming back to life, not just life but kind of starting to run again a little bit crowdstrike's still down lemonade's still down one and a Half percent visa still down a third of a percent um xl fleet chilling out a little bit coming off that 35 run. There mataport's still doing well loose hit four and a quarter next door: 666 neo coming back 3.51, etsy, 2.8, hmm and tesla 1.5.

Okay, let's go see here, did all of them go green again, so yeah all of the indices have now turned red. I'm sorry, i have turned green, so we went from flat who selling off to now we're covering and people buying the dip again, because why not insane market? Oh yeah, what a crazy market all right! Let's go back to bloom! Welcome chad! Can you check out bitq for what volatility? I don't know what that is, let's look vip2 it wise. Oh, it's! It's an etf! Oh! I didn't know that. I don't know anything about it, though.

I'm not flicking that see. What's inside of it, what the fees are. Your stocks rise as tech shares erase losses yup how quickly the headlines change. Uh, let's see here the housing proposal, that's quietly tearing atlanta apart, seems interesting.

All right, we'll wait for this so slow today. Okay, so what else zoom beachbody beachbody gosh 4.91? They they cannot catch a break, otherwise it seems pretty consistent all right, let's see what we got. Is this an opinion piece or what we got residence subdividing residential lots. Well, this is what we're doing in california as well, uh and they're complaining that would only enrich developers.
Hmm yeah, i mean that's uh, surgical proposals, yeah well, okay, this might be something i'll dive into a little bit later. It's not so stock related. Okay. Let's try barons and the ft check out rocket lab waiting for my joker impression.

I just one day i have to come on with lipstick, uh yeah. I don't know much about them. The tesla finance complex how a car maker gained influence over the markets. That's interesting! Uh with elon's tweets, of course, duh the elon effect.

I like how front page you have on the financial times. Biden has been a disappointment on the pandemic. Ouch. It's not uh, not not very uh, they're, pretty clear about what side they're on ways to make social media less viral fake news talk.

Okay powell faces significant challenges in second act. You know a lot of people are saying that he actually doesn't. I read a little bit of this one a little earlier. I thought it was in yesterday's paper honestly, but a lot of folks are saying powell might be able to coast into uh into next year and just wait just let the market ride.

Uh see what happens with with inflation and chill out ethereum just popped a little bit 4300 and bitcoins back to 47 or 574 a little bit of excitement coming back here. So you had your sell-off after the uh powell reappointment, which was also weird, because we expected more certainty to come to the market but uh. Maybe it was the vice chair appointment. I don't know this doesn't make sense, uh yield spiked.

Maybe that's why we had a little bit of a sell down yesterday, but overall today it feels like the market's mostly back to party mode. It's like somebody turned down the volume for a few minutes and now they're turning it up again. Look at that etsy neo affirm, lucid all up three and a half plus percent solar edge, who was starting to run yesterday but then started falling coming back cloud flare, train desk arrival, these guys all coming back square 1.34, huh kind of incredible yeah; okay! Well, hey, uh, no, nothing! No, crazy, lasting pain for uh buying the uh buying the dip very, very little brief pain, and i don't even think it was much pain that we had yesterday and let's have paypal because we know this is at like recent all-time lows. 189 yeah still kind of still stuck in the mud, though you know you can't really say that uh fintech's really taking off yet see so far still stuck in the mud.

Paypal expect robinhood to be in here as well wherever it is, although i think robin hood ended up going up like what a half percent or something oh yeah here, robinhood 0.68, along with tesla 0.7 okay, fascinating market nice reference there to paypal, not gon na! Repeat that one uh, can i get your opinion on open door, sell puts sure so first, i would only buy it if i wanted to own it, or you know, i would only open that position which would be selling puts. The volatility is on a declining trend. Right now, it's still quite elevated and uh. It has been settling down a little bit, so you are on a downtrend, uh and remember redfin's been on a longer downtrend as well, and they started their downtrend really after earnings see.
So if i went for december 17th - something let's see good open interest over here uh, it's not a lot. Actually, you know, let's see if i went, for i mean you're, not gon na make any money going for a 15. go for, let's see an 18.! Well, that's going over here, let's see, sell put buck 40., it's not bad! What's that's like eight percent right, it's kind of like the markets pricing in a little bit of expectations of a decline, but do a cell put here if the stock stays stable and you get volatility falling could be in your favor volatility right now sitting at 102. On the 10 day, it's 30 days, 92, it's 50 days 81 and it's 100 day is is 78, so you could still get like a 20 decline in volatility to go back to a little bit of a longer run average uh.

If that happens, the stock stays flat or goes up a little bit. Software could do really well unless of course it sells off like paypal did, then you get screwed see like you do what i did and you sell put on on paypal because you're like oh, it's just temporarily falling because of the pinterest deal. No it just. It was just at the beginning of its fall, and nobody, i feel like really knows why paypal is being so hated right now, it's kind of interesting.

You know what it's, because paypal hasn't entered the metaverse. That's what it is high open interest is not not necessarily like a good or bad thing it just it's a quick indicator, quick way of determining if your your spread is going to be good or bad uh and your options going to fill quickly because you could Get a horrible spread on on certain options and you could be upside down ten percent the moment you execute wow, well, um, all right, tough to tough to bet against the market. That's why i don't short it uh! Rarely because i did short rivian and mad report there for a moment and took 10 days on those but uh. Otherwise, you just have to be mostly long on this market.

It's crazy uh still got cash stuff for buying the dip. I don't know if what i'm gon na do with it. Wait for the dip in stocks buy some real estate. I don't know tbg we'll see anyway.

That's it for the market. Open, live stream. Thank you. So much for being here check out the courses down below on building your wealth, really appreciate you apple.
I love apple i'll. Do a quick little look on apple's volatility. Apple's volatility is at 17.. It's like historic average right now for its volatility, but anyway get that coupon for black friday.

We'll have our course member live stream. Uh later this morning, that'll be fun we'll get to chat. I do course member live streams every day the market's open and uh yeah, we'll see you in the later we'll see you. We will see you later i'll, see you later, whatever i'm gon na go now bye,.
