A few tips on recovering my trading losses. Losses happen, and I've had a lot of big losses over the years. My receipe for recovering from loss is taking it 1 day at a time. Don't even look at the size of the loss, just keep your head down and focus on small base hits.

You know, I've had some red days that are so big it's hard to even imagine how to begin to recoup them now. I'm out here on the beach walking and I've got kind of a long ways to go I have to get there because the tide comes up and then it goes all the way up to the edge and I was thinking the best way is to keep my head down and not even look at how far I have to go because that's overwhelming I just keep my head down and just keep taking steps when I've been recovering from Trading losses I do the same thing I don't look at how big of a number I need to recoup I don't check every day I just keep my head down and I just focus on doing what I know Works taking bass hit trades, getting in, getting green, getting out, and next thing you know and I've done this many, many times I look up and I'm almost there.
Very true. I was up 24000 on the year. Then took a big loss (4000$) not following a stop loss. Made 250$ today and back to 20000$ + on the year. Just gotta stay disciplined and follow the rules
How in the world can you worry about some red days with millions in your bank account? Recoup losses? Are you broke? Its a serious question. What happens to all of your winnings and gains? I hear this about traders all the time, but are traders living from hand to mouth? If i had 11 mill and lost 1 mill i am still filthy rich.😂
Man I wish I could say the same. I'm down so much and so overwhelmed and helpless at the moment.
I cant explain how right i am .. i just cant hold for even few hrs. Fri was 3 diff puts on spxw like friggin 2500 bucks easy. I trade out so fast. This has gone on for a year at least. It kills me.

Best advice ever. It’s all about the accuracy. Focus on the colors, the numbers come second. If the focus is on accuracy, you will find yourself becoming a better trader each and every day. And THAT is where the money is at. It’s in the skills you learn. What you pick up. Not the $ amount.
This is solid advice for much more than trading!
