Don't assume higher lows are resistance lines and short. Likewise, don't assume lower highs are support lines and sell.
I hate range market
These type of markets are the ones the screwed my account the most. Just beginning to identify them.

I cant decide which time frame i need to trade. In the simulator my average hold time is around 40 to 50 minutes., range bound for 30 to 50 cent gains. Sometimes as low as 20 cents for 15 to 30 minutes hold. I find myself switching between the 1 and 5 minute charts to find good patterns and then trading on said chart. Is this good practice? If I dont see good range on the 5, ill switch to the 1 and trade that timeframe or vise versa. ALSO – i find when I use the 5 minute i am looking for confirmation at highs and lows using the 1 minute. This is all self taught so idk if i am all over the place or if this is how the pros do it. It seems to work pretty good i am making big gains in the sim. but i am uneasy going live money with this back and forth approach
