I would guess that US and Canada numbers are dropping even more bc while pinterest is great for inspiration, its not great for much more. It desperately needs to get the e-commerce side functioning so people will be drawn to it bc they know not only can they be inspired but they can make it reality by being able to purchase the inspiration they like the most.
Elliott doesn’t buy companies like that. They aren’t Berkshire. They buy board seats and then slap around management. They are likely why the previous CEO stepped away to let someone else drive.

Great analysis as always Sasha. You’re absolutely right on their need to expand their ad sales internationally – in the Middle East they have very good penetration and we have clients keen to tap into their audience but no ads offering yet. With a self serve ad platform they could scale international market’s with very little investment. One to watch.
