Last night President Trump went ahead and used his executive power in order to sign 4 aimed packages at helping Americans.
In this video, we are going to discuss those 4 packages and most importantly talk about whether or not these packages will actually have any weight.
Now before we get started with this video don't forget to hit the like button down below. That helps get this video pushed out to more people with the Youtube algorithm.
So 4 specific stimulus proposals have been signed under executive order HOWEVER Stimulus checks have still not been included.
1. Payroll tax cut.
1. This will be a deferment rather than elimination which means the government could choose to collect the money at a later date.
2. This is capped at 100k per year.
3. Trump is leveraging the payroll tax cut as a campaign strategy. IF he gets re-elected he will permanently cut it.
2. Unemployment Benefits:
1. Instead of a $600 per week federal boost, it will still be an extra $400 per week with expanded benefits.
2. Under this executive action, states must pick up the tab for 25% of the $400 per week boost which means it would be $100.
3. If the State wants the federal boost they MUST sign up for the additional tab.
4. An individual can only receive the full $400 boost if they can get approved for the$100 aid from the state.
Here's the issue:
1. Financially many states are already strapped. It is almost certain that not every state will be able to afford the federal boost because of how tight the budget would be.
2. Because the approval of the federal Unemployment boost is not coming from Congress, states must set up a new system in order to deliver the aid.
1. Building a successful system could take months and there are even some states that still provide Unemployment benefits only through direct mail.
3. Evictions. The eviction moratorium that President Trump wants will not be reinstating the previous moratorium which lapsed in July.
The new measure only states that "the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director of the CDC shall consider whether any measures temporarily halting residential evictions of any tenants for failure to pay rent are reasonably necessary to "prevent the further spread of COVID-19."
Eviction Moratoriums will be very difficult to gauge and this makes me question how effective the new measures may actually be.
4. Student Loans.
1. Out of the 3 executive actions we just mentioned student loans seem to be the most reliable because this one won't need further approval from Congress, state governments, or any private sectors to help fulfill.
This memorandum points their fingers straight at the Department of Education in D.C. and is ordering them to extend the student loan relief that came from the CARES act to extend till the end of the year.
Off-topic but I hear they have some pretty good food in their cafeteria.
The way Student Loans work is that:
1. Loan payments are paused and interest is suspended on federally held student loans until September 30th at the moment.
2. Back in March, Trump also waived student loan interest by executive order and the administration also said that borrowers could request a deferment on their payments.
The argument is that all of this is one big political play and realistically 3 out of 4 of these executive actions will have no weight on them.
In my opinion, the easier thing to have done would have been to just pass $1500 or $2000 stimulus checks for the people.
This would have taken care of the eviction moratorium and unemployment boost for the next few months until Congress figures out what to do next with another stimulus package.

Comment "You are amazing" down below if you see this

Last night, president trump went ahead and used his executive actions as president to sign four different packages aimed at helping the american people. What we're gon na do in today's video is go over exactly what those four packages were. We're gon na do a very easy to hear easy to understand simple breakdown of what this included and, most importantly, towards the end of the video. What i'm gon na do is go over exactly whether or not the things he signed are gon na have any weight to him right now.

We are in the middle of an election year and we're gon na see a lot of political theater going on. So i don't want people to mistake pretty much what you see as headlines in the news as seeing this as oh, this is the best news ever in reality. This may not actually have any huge impact in the overall next meals package. So what we're gon na do in this video is pretty much just talk about the details of this and go over the legitimacy of some of these bills.

Now, let's just get straight into this, video, don't forget to like this video, if you guys have not yet already or if you guys are enjoying these stimulus check updates yesterday was actually my day off, so i was not able to post a video, but today we're Just going to go over exactly what we missed in yesterday's update, but if you guys are new to the channel, welcome. Thank you all so much for tuning by my name is brian. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel if you guys want to be notified for any new videos coming up. So let's get straight into those packages.

We have four different packages. Let's start with number one. The payroll tax cut is pretty straightforward and easy to understand. First of all, it's gon na be capped at a hundred thousand dollars per year and the easiest way to know this is anytime.

You receive a paycheck or, if you're, self-employed or you have an employer, you don't get the full amount of how much you worked within that paycheck. That's going to be that payroll tax cut, usually about eight percent 15, depending on the state and the type of employment. You have so if you're self-employed you're, obviously going to pay a little bit more compared to if you're working for someone else, but he pretty much is gon na cut this out, if you're making less than a hundred thousand dollars and he's able to get this through. The next legislative actions, then you're going to be able to see a paycheck be a little bit fatter than usual.

Now, with the payroll tax cut, i really want to remind people that this is not a complete elimination of that amount. So what this is is actually a deferment. President trump is pretty much using this to his advantage in his political campaign. Right now saying: look if i don't get re-elected right now, you may all actually have to pay back the payroll tax cut that i'm going to avoid for the next few months, or maybe even for the remainder of the year.

One of the things that we need to keep in mind is that the definition of a lot of these executive actions that were taken in place last night are still very, very just they're, not concrete they're, not solidified. So we have to take into consideration that all of this is still very manipulable. This is not an elimination, though we can. We can really put that to rest.
This does not mean you do not have to pay payroll tax cuts at all. This is pretty much a deferment at the moment, so it looks good on paper. There's a lot of hype behind this, but in reality this may not be the best thing in this package at the moment. Here's what president trump said last night in his quote, if i'm victorious on november 3rd, i plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax.

Joe biden and the democrats may not want that. They don't want that. There's gon na be a lot of political theater, like i mentioned earlier in this video, so we really have to keep this in mind. Please do not get your hopes up with a lot of these things, especially when they are subject to change now.

The second thing we're going to talk about is unemployment boost benefits. Previously we had that 600 a week boost that the federal government gave us that came along with the cares act. This time it's going to be a 400 amount, but this one is a little interesting too, to say the least. Under this executive action, the federal government isn't actually going to pay for the full 400 amount.

What is included in this is that states need to actually pay 25 of that 400 amount, which is actually gon na, be a hundred dollars per week per person. If the states that don't have the budget for this simply just cannot pay for it, then they actually won't be eligible to receive the federal boost benefit for their people. Another issue that we have with this version of the federal unemployment boost is that, because it's not coming from congress, this means that they need to set up an entirely new system on the state level, which sometimes may actually take months to set up, and some states Actually do not do this electronically. There are still some states that offer unemployment benefits only through direct mail.

So what this means is unemployment boost benefits may be subject to a lot of states not actually receiving this. So i honestly predict that many states will not be eligible for something like this simply because they cannot afford it or they can't set up the system in order to give this out to the people. I really don't think that we're gon na see every single state in the u.s be able to qualify for this, and this also goes into the idea of political play at power too. If states did not do a good job at having their budgets - and president trump has mentioned this many times in the past - that there are some states that have been doing awful jobs with budgets, they are in so much debt.

They do not know where their priorities are. This federal unemployment boost that is coming from the executive action is pretty much leveraging. That saying. Look, if you guys did not manage your money well in the past, then your whole state is gon na suffer because you're gon na need to cover 25 of the cost right now for the federal unemployment boost benefit.
I really don't think this is just to save on a couple costs and putting that on the state. I do believe that a lot of political leverage is at play here, so the next on this list is going to be eviction moratoriums, and i want this to be very clear for the people. This is not going to be the same protection that you received with the last kharazak that we saw back in july with that version of eviction moratoriums. So i just want to share this quote.

I found the new measure. Only states that quote the secretary of health and human services and the director of the cdc shall consider whether any measures temporarily halting residential evictions of any tenants for failure to pay rent are reasonably necessary to prevent further spread of covid 19 end quote: eviction moratoriums are Going to be very difficult to gauge on whether or not this is gon na actually work, i really question the effectiveness of how substantial something like this may be, but simply put an eviction. Moratorium just prevents people from getting kicked out of their area of residence. This is gon na really upset the real estate owners because everyone still has bills to pay.

At the same time, this is gon na be protecting a lot of americans during this time who may be homeless. Let me know your thoughts on the eviction moratorium and let me know your thoughts on the three bills that i just mentioned so for number four. This is actually gon na be student loans, and this is the last executive action that president trump actually went ahead and signed out of the three executive actions that we just mentioned. This is going to be the easiest one to get past because they actually don't need state congress or other political parties at play in order to get something like this passed.

So the memorandum for this points their fingers straight at the department of education in dc, and it is actually ordering them to extend the student loan relief that came from the first karazak to extend till the end of the year. At the moment, loan payments are paused and interest is suspended on federally held student loans until september 30th. At the moment, out of all the executive actions mentioned, let me know which one is your favorite and which one you believe is actually going to be the most effective in helping out the american people. In my opinion, the easier thing to have gotten done would just be to get additional stimulus passed to the people.

I think twelve hundred dollars is still too little, but fifteen hundred dollars or even two thousand dollars would still have been the full amount to cover the people for the next few months. Instead of making these complicated eviction moratoriums or assistance with unemployment boost benefits. Four hundred dollars the state covering it there's just so much that needs to actually go through, and i do understand that congress needs to work in terms of getting a budget passed for additional stimulus check. So it may actually be outside the powers of president trump.
But in my opinion, i think that just would have been a lot easier than trying to work through all the hoops that we mentioned earlier. Please, let me know your thoughts down below in this video. Thank you all so much for tuning by another video. Hopefully, i will see you guys in tomorrow's video have a great ending to your weekend and uh.

Hopefully i will see you guys soon. Thank you all so much again have a great day and peace out.

This is a sad situation Trump just trying to get reelected it is sad because you will see a lot of more people evicted and living on the streets because they want to play a game with giving these people $400 it's not going to help them because a lot of people won't even qualify for the $400 a lot of State doesn't have the budget and also you have to make at least $100 in unemployment to be eligible
