So this is kind of a surprising video. This is a clip from cnbc which doesn't really make me angry at all, and i want to share it with you. The headline says market has already decided the winner of the electric vehicle race. Crater, says ubs revisiting.

Some of its auto calls on tuesday the firm flagging volkswagen, hyundai and general motors as most likely to have the best re-rating stories and electric vehicles in the same breath. Cutting its price target on tesla, saying its ev lead is shrinking and its self-driving opportunity is already priced into the stock well well. Well: mainstream media cannot help themselves. Even in this video, which will feature two traders saying why they're bullish on tesla, they have to start with the ubs negative report about tesla.

That has nothing to do with what these traders are about to see. For some reason, a re-rating story is a thing now. I don't even know what the hell this means essentially, is this, like the most improved player award for the eevee industry, you're still a bench player, sorry, my guy and gm from 79 to 75 or 75 to 79, four from 13 to 16.. What does it matter? Tesla is taking these guys out of business anyways within the next five years.

These all re-rating is just pointless, not to mention that it is ludicrous to say that the full self-driving features already priced into the stock. Obviously they're not, and i'm definitely not a ball. This whole robo taxi nonsense. I don't think that the future is robo taxis, i'm much more on the energy side of things.

I don't think that's priced into the share price if it was you'd, see it at one thousand. I think that this is a report, but they have to show it before they give us the good news and the good analysis about tesla, it's kind of par for the course for mainstream media, we'll take it. Let's go which is rated neutral. Meantime, tesla and ford are having opposite years so far, tesla's worse since 2016 and for its best since 2009, and some more of the same one more slide showing how ford is better than tesla before they get to the good stuff again, when in doubt zoom out.

Why don't you zoom this out, see what happens with ford? What's going on with tesla, i mean it's quite clear: who's winning who's losing as you're about to hear this chart is just kind of a very manipulative to show it this way. Let's look at the higher stuff right. Let's look at the big picture where tesla is headed, where ford is headed completely different destinations. That's all i'm going to say about it.

Let's keep watching it's 2009.. Where does this leave investors so many stats right there, todd gordon of tradinganalysis.com welcome back and delano sapparoo of new straight advisors, todd i'll start with you. Where do we want to start here such interesting moves that we are seeing in the automotive space, especially now as investors try to re-evaluate the opportunities when it comes to electric absolutely vehicles know that report shows that the other automakers you know we have four. We have by the way before he speaks.
I want to congratulate him for having the best backdrop ever he's doing his show from a bar from a bar look at this, the barn doors in the back. The bar, i mean that's savage. I like it gm. We have international automakers are gaining ground in the short term navs and if you want to take forward, for example, very strong recent earnings per share over the last couple quarters awesome comeback story: good technical chart broke a big long downtrend there.

As long as we hold about 10 or 11, the artist formerly known as resistance now is support, that's sort of any any place to buy, but i've been a long-term bull in tesla researching this spot seem, i mean all i can find is negative headlines and sentiment In tesla on these uh on this sort of price target cut, but you can't take away what this stock has done and what it stands for in the future. See me you've heard me say this probably five times and are tired of hearing it, but you know i just can't help but think what they're doing with spacex. With the satellites elon has said. Just recently they are going to put a receiver in the rvs and the trucks, but he says it's too big to be uh installed in the cars.

This guy literally just changed space space travel forever. I'm sure he can come up with a smaller receiver that will ultimately go in the cars when he connects that global satellite cartridge, of which there's going to be 40 000 of these lower earth orbit satellites connected to the cars. At that point, the lidar technology is going to be out this. The fleet is going to be connected.

He'll. Do it with the taxis. I think i'm playing the long run game. I love the chart got down around 550.

Everyone was so bearish. A lot of people were bearish. I added a third of my position at about 580 on june 3rd. I'm continuing to be a testable.

This is a long run. Um play that i'll, probably will hold for for years to come now, you're getting to see the actual chart july 20 to today, you can see where tesla started at 300, where it's at right now. This is way better to actually show what is actually going on. Here this guy is actually smart, he's talking about two things which mainstream media usually ignores: number one: the synergies, the co-existence between spacex and the other elon sponsored companies and tesla.

They definitely have benefits. They definitely have synergies technology, trickles down for sure engineering, all that good stuff, not to mention the fact that what he just said right now long term display is almost a no-brainer looking at this chart, which i'm not a technical trader, you can see this, but just Researching tesla and what they're doing in energy what they're doing in full self driving as far as how much they're, far ahead from the competition just watch the sending monroe video about that other vehicle. From that other company i mean every other company is so far ahead. In this technology, it's not even funny.
I completely agree with this guy 100 delano people are quick to criticize elon musk his sort of way of leading this company. You know the sentiment has been somewhat negative, you could argue around tesla, but it surely has defied odds in the past so which side of the trade do you stand on when it comes to tesla, i'm still bullish on tesla, and i think some of you sentiments That you mentioned are true, but if you look at the survey that ubs actually put out, they even talked about the brand loyalty, especially overseas, and china's how 43 of people that said if they would buy a fully electric vehicle they would buy from tesla and by The way what he's really saying here about china - and he can't go out and say it on tv like this - is a lot of this chinese food is probably state sponsored to put some pressure on leveraging elon. Most of it is not real now we know this. So he actually goes around it and he basically says well in reality, people are way more satisfied from tesla they're way more happy with tesla, and they definitely wanted tesla than what mainstream media wants.

You to believe that's an elegant way of actually explaining this, not bad. So, even with some of the negative sentiment, you'll see um, you know when you search online, but another thing that i really like is you know nearly levels that are pretty low and that growth trade is starting to come back into play now um. So we're obviously we're sitting there at 680. As todd mentioned, we were hit, you know even at 580 at some point, so we're not even close to the levels uh that we're seeing about eight hundred eight eight hundred eighty dollars per share back was in february.

So i think we still have a bid to go when it comes to tesla, i'm still very bullet shot on tesla. What about the other trades? You know uh todd when i look by the way his ending was perfect, we're so much far away from the 800s and 900s. Essentially he's saying, there's way more room for the stock to grow. I personally see higher upside.

Even than that, you know my target price. I think tesla is a 1500 stock, but again this is just my opinion. This is not financial advice, not a financial advisor, my opinion might be inaccurate might be wrong, might be the ramblings of amendment. You have to do your own research.

This is not financial advice. Do your research about tesla and let's keep moving look at the performance of gm? I was actually surprised when i saw how much it's gained here in uh in 2021. Out of the traditional players that are making inroads in electric vehicles, do you stick with gm or is it ford that that's hard to say see? I think i think a component of ford gms was was a recovery story. This is not new cutting edge technology that that elon is is uh is doing here.
This is sort of exactly a lot of hype, a lot of good field stories, technology, wise they're, not even close, go watch the sandy monroe video of him breaking apart, that other electric vehicle. If you can call it that an industrial recovery story as well as new cutting edge electronic vehicles, which don't i don't take anything away, i mean they will certainly gain market share in the near term on tesla. But if you look at the the billions of miles driven that tesla has being plugged into their exactly the data the miles, it's basically wright's law and every single line existence that basically tells you one thing: tesla is so far ahead. It's game over.

These guys are running on fumes, they're, mad they're, they're, major data centers, compared to what the other evs are are have it's not even something funny the one who has the most data will ultimately be victorious so sure they can gain some short term. Exactly market share but i think longer term. I think i think the markets are 156 times forward earnings which is tesla right now. I think the market is already voting who the winner will be hallelujah preach brother.

I love the fact that you're in the bar and you're, probably gon na, have a cold one. After this i could not agree more. The people have spoken. The markets have spoken.

People who think that this is a bubble are losing money. I mean shorts on tesla's lost, so much money, that's not even funny. Why would you bet against tesla at this point is beyond me, but let's just keep listening. There's 40 more seconds of this uh delano todd just brought a valuation, your thoughts there yeah.

I think i think ford and gm are a little bit overbought um, yes, delando overbought, you know what it means the overvalued people have rammed into these talks out of recovery story feel good story. It's way way beyond where it should be right now and ubs is raising. The price target is really ubs. I'm at this point, um, obviously they're still relatively cheap if you're looking at comparisons to tesla, but you know again, i'm still riding.

You know trust that tesla area right now. I think it's still a very good. You know evaluation compared to where it's been trading before all right, good discussion and such an interesting trade uh. Just given the innovation we're seeing in this space and now real money being tossed around amongst these for four to five players, uh delano and todd.

Thank you for your insight today and thank you for joining me. I'm sima modi. We will okay, thank you sima. So you just heard two people rationalize and explain from different perspectives, by the way why tesla is still undervalued.

Why tesla is the winner in this eevee market and why the game is pretty much over. They can't come out on national tv and say this is about to go to bankruptcy for all these other legacy automakers within the next five to ten years. This is pretty much over, but they can insinuate and they can give you the crumbs. So you can make the conclusions for yourselves again: it's not financial advice, just my opinion might be an accurate might be wrong.
You know, do your own research, i absolutely agree and i feel honored i might have found the first clip of mainstream media action. Giving tesla props. Is this the end of the fud? Don't think so? But you know we'll give them the benefit of the fud. I'm just kidding.

Curious, do you think that Robotaxi's aren't possible/not happening soon? Or do you just think people won't hail robotaxi's over uber/lyft/taxis/personal vehicle ownerships?

Hey Tom!! As a fellow Sandy Monroe fan could you maybe do an analysis of a VERY early move by Sandy, merging his professional and personal life by working for and investing in Aptera. Aptera just did a round of funding that closed super quick. In spite of being a largely unknown company they have people eager to get a piece of the company. I myself made the largest investment of this type I have ever made. Which isn't saying much as I'm new to this type of investing. I lived my life in real estate and have been pulling out of it by quite a bit. Aptera is such an exciting and interesting company. Sandy has said he can't talk much about the specifics of the car yet because of NDAs he is working under.
I expect when the first car launches later this year he will be putting out some very detailed videos about the car- partly because of his intimate knowledge, partly because it occupies a unique position in the EV world and partly because , hey, it can't hurt to cheer lead for something you are invested in.
As a largely uneducated person on these type of investment I would LOVE to hear you do a break down of the structures of investment that Aptera has moved through. They started with a Wefunder round, then moved to a different structure that is not Wefunder, and I know they have plans to move to IPO. I don't know much about this type of progression and what it means. I wonder if it is a typical progression for such a young company.
    Love your work here.

Tesla has promised and promoted that have yet to be delivered, Cybertruck, Roadster, Semi Truck, fancy batteries. How many of them are years behind when first promised?
And when they do have a good idea the faster, older, better financed companies can have it to market first. Just look at the Cybertruck fail (yes it's a fail). They came up with an electric truck and it looks like Ford and GM will get theirs to the market first. And freightliner is currently testing an electric semi truck. I just can't get myself to buy Tesla. I'll keep my legacy auto makers.

Tom I love your Channel I am holding TSLA , I admire Elon Musk by far the biggest changer of our times. But we need to face the facts, Tesla can only be dominant if it owns all 3 major markets. I don't see them being dominant in at least two of them. Tesla is worldwide not as popular as Americans think. Lets give it a couple more years. And no I am not selling out of TSLA.
