Morning. My brothers from another mother. My sisters from another mister and on this beautiful beautiful morning or fourth of july. I want to share this message with you now i'm a foreigner you can hear by my accent.
So i'm gonna be straight with you i know america has a lot of problems. And god knows we have a bumbling doofus for a president and a fed that's lagging behind inflation. Etcetera etcetera. We have a lot of problems with america.
But as a foreigner. I want to make it clear. There's absolutely no better country on earth point blank period simple next time somebody complains why did you ask him where do you prefer to leave china russia europe antarctica turkmenistan. I mean brazil where do you want to live.
I would not want to live anywhere else for example. Me being saying you know just a second ago. That our president is a doofus in most countries. I've lived in saying that gets you in jail or worse.
I mean we are to an extreme our own worst critic and that's why people in america tend to think that america is so bad and so horrible. But that's just because that's our nature to be so critical of ourselves try to get better nobody else is trying to get better they're all patting themselves in the background. How great they are america is always obsessed about getting better and better. But fourth of july is an excellent opportunity to let everybody know hey we have a lot of problems here.
But this is literally the best place on earth to live in do not forget that if we could fix one thing for the next year. That would be our ability to have a discourse about things we disagree about without trying to kill each other i feel that's the biggest problem in america right. Now is just our inability to have a discussion and disagree with each other and just stay friends especially about politics. Especially about gender identity.
Especially about economy. People have gotten used to being you either with us or you are enemy. The debate culture needs to go back to where it was always now the other thing is please for the love of god listen to me this is not a political statement. But i feel in this country right now politics determine what the truth you believe in so.
If your political inclination is left. Then you believe in something else one. And if your political inflation is right you believe something else. There's absolutely no way for somebody from one side of the map politically to believe in something that the other people believe in vice versa.
I want to cut that out if i could ask one thing for next year. Is for us to be able to look at the objective truth without having to basically think okay. Which side and political map. I am okay.
That's what i got to believe in and just being able to disagree with our neighbors and our friends. Without killing each other everything else we can work through yes. The president isn't the best and yes. The policies are kind of trash. But trust me trust me this i've seen it all there is no better place on earth go have a good time enjoy fourth of july drink responsibly. See you tomorrow.

I guess it's okay, but I can be real, as a young Black person who has experienced a lot of different issues in the world. From being mistreated at workplaces, to being beaten up by racists… This place is NOT THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH to live. Maybe for you Tom Nash, but I wake up and am treated differently based on my skin color, from sitting in a playground in a nice sunny afternoon to driving at night looking for a friends house in a neighborhood I am not familiar with. Lapping back and forth to find the correct address.
I am watched when I enter a store and shop aimlessly, looking around at different products. I am looked at with disgust by some people who believe they are of a better genetic makeup. I've been turned down for jobs that I had credentials for, only to have a friend with less skill get the job. I keep working, I keep building. But I will say, as a person of color, 27 years into their life… There is no way to blankly state "USA is the best place to live".
American Independence/Freedom does not have the same effect on all of its citizens. The US has even a history of policing Black neighborhoods and shutting down Street Vendors in Black communities MORE on July 4th than any other day of the year. Black people aren't allowed to celebrate their freedom in American, and we don't even have equal amounts of Freedoms given to the rest of the country.

I Immigrated to UK, and I love it here. For investors there isn't better country than USA. However, for quality of life I think scandinavian countries are hands down better. Happy independence day for everyone in USA.
I always argue this point with ignorant Americans that fetishize other cultures and countries. I am originally from Latin America and I have been to several other countries, especially third world countries, and let me tell you. There is nothing like the United States, BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!.
