What's going on everyone, this is shay here, humble trader today, i'm very excited to bring you guys, along with me, to the first ever in-person humble trader, meetup in downtown vancouver. So after trading and chatting with all my humble trader members online over discord for so many years, i'm very excited to finally to be able to meet some of them in real life. Today there will be a lot of food drinks and in addition to that, meaning golf because if you didn't know humble trader is also a very, very bad, humble golfer. So we're gon na see how that turns out today.

So i'm definitely very excited and a little bit nervous. You know to meet a lot of traders today, but i think it'll be a good time how long you've been trading and what kind of stocks you like to trade. So i've been trading for about a year and a half, and i focus on trading bigger name stocks such as tesla, amazon, nvidia and that type of stock, yeah uh, i'm an options trader i've been trading for two years now you were actually one of the first Youtubers i started watching when i started trading yeah yeah, so that's it's been a journey. Ah, the good yolo adventures are from summer 2019 beyond meats.

Pretty much went up 20 every morning for all of june july and some of august those are probably the biggest fuel adventures i had after that, roku in the fall and then obviously most recently tesla baby um. I don't hold tesla, but i trade it daily. That's why i talk about it. Daily um will go to four thousand always uncertain, but it does seem that it's going up and up uh new releases and if anybody can do it, elon can do it.

It's just very humbling to really meet shay in real life and see how she is as a person and the kindness that she has. I think that's it's very great and eye-opening for me anything else you want to say to our viewers here on youtube uh. I would just say that uh chase is a great uh mentor and i've learned a lot for her, like just watching her videos like watching her style and everything. So i i suggest everyone to check her out and i predominantly day trade, but obviously i have a long-term holdings for my retirement portfolio, so i'm always in uh longer term things, i'm a big fan of peter lynch for those of you that are a little older From the 90s - and i like to figure out what's hot on the street and invest in that, so my favorite stock to trade would be tesla, because it's the one that i like like.

I know how to plan, and it gave me my biggest wins and then the stock that i hate to trade. It's also tesla, because it's been my major me uh, my biggest losses have come from tesla, so it's like a yeah. It's like a love, fade uh relationship, yeah, yeah, so uh in 2000. You know everyone's on youtube, making videos about uh, stock trading and whatnot uh, and then i i found shay's channel right, uh and just something about wanting to smash the like button and and and lamborghini's was just uh.

You know i couldn't stop watching. It was very entertaining to watch as well as very informational, um, so yeah uh, i decided to try it out. I joined uh the discord channel, um yeah. I don't think i've finished the video library yet there's a lot of information there, uh and yeah me personally.

Out of all the other places, i tried to find information like learn how to trade um. I i like this one, the best, so i kind of stuck around i'm glad i finally get to meet shea. It's a first humble trader, meetup here in vancouver, so yeah it's been fun. Do i'm just here so i could be in the videos and the free drinks and the free drinks too: hey hey! No, not an alcoholic cut that up cut um.

When i started as a trader, it was very hard. Not a lot of information was available. Not a lot of good resources was reliable for me personally, a lot of it was personal learning, personal sort of like due diligence and really investing my personal time to figure out what i wanted to learn so seeing new members having that struggle and us being able To help them with that really is like when they reciprocate it saying like: oh, i see it now or i understand it. It really provides a personal touch to that and i think for us as a humble trader group, we feel we get a lot of great fulfillment on that.

2021 has been an incredible year for us day. Traders we've had crazy momentum in trading stocks like gamestop amc, lucid motors, moderna, tesla, and the list just goes on and on, and i'm so thankful and grateful to have all 800 000 of you subscribers guys and girls. And, of course, my ht members joining me on this journey this year over here on youtube. Our videos have been seen by more than 14 million people this year and, of course, i want to thank you all of my subscribers for more than 734 000 likes and more than 45 000 comments this year outside of youtube.

We also launched the humble trader academy, an in-depth day trading education program paired with mentorship by yours, judy here and, of course, we've also created a lot of really bad jokes, both here on this channel and in person at our first ever humble trader, member meetup, in Vancouver knock knock who's there. Banana banana, who knock knock, knock, knock who's there banana banana who knock knock. I don't get it am i stupid who's there, orange orange, who orange glass, i didn't say banana, see. That's a humble trader joke.

Oh, my god, i was going to retire next year at the age of 50, but it looks like that's not working out so well. I'm sure this is a question. Many beginner traders are asking because every time i asked my ex for support, all i got was resistance. What does day trading and christmas have in common red and green p l's.
