Really terrible that you imply he can only write off the losses in one year. Losses carry over year after year. you can continue to deduct the maximum every year until all the losses are deducted. There should be a video on regrets… I had this as $4.25 x 2,000 shares last year and at $11.50 x 500 a week prior to the big junpst.leading into squeeze…. Didn't lose anything, but it feels like I did.
