Paid off all my student loans and just finished last month, but I guess I'll pay everyone else's too
I think he should forgive 5k to everyone. It will be a great relief for a few months for high earners and a long one to small earners. Plus those of you that already paid your loans especially those that when to school over 20 years ago. Is not adequate to compare your situation to ours, I worked all through college, got scholarships went to community college to save money and I still had to get loans.
I only have $8,000 on my student loan so I thank Mr President Biden.

Colleges have a free ticket to raise prices has high as they want, since the government took over all student loans and banks have nothing to do with them. Schools know they will always be paid by the government…..which has NO money, makes NO money, only takes OUR money. Redistribution of wealth? Buying votes? Keeping poor people poor? Yes to all.
Winning votes for midterms. Remember what happened when the government started giving away money during covid?
It doesn't eliminate the greed by these colleges and banks. If a person can file for bankruptcy, they will think twice before loaning someone money. I want less competition for me.

If you qualify and paid your loans since March 2020 call your instituition and ask for a refund.
