Increase the available memory? Can be set on the login window for tos. If you have lots of available memory, try doubling the default and see if things run smoother for you. Might not be the cause of your issue but this might help someone.

Interactive Brokers is the best online brokerage, IMHO. I get great fills and rarely have any connection issues. Check them out. Commission free means these online brokerages will route your order to whoever will pay them the most for Order Flow which will usually not get you the best Fill price available at that moment. IB doesn't do that and you will notice better execution of your orders, especially if you are a Day Trader making multiple trades per day.

How do you get to trade after hours? I thought it couldn't be done.
I called customer service, they said servers got overloaded..could there be that much volume??
Did you take all these trades simultaneously or one by one?
did you call td about the issues? I have seen a big drop in green many times when I sell, it has to be a low bid

Free commissions is making so many people sign up and trade like crazy because they are free ,that TOS probably got overwhelmed. They should have reduced commissions,not eliminate then…

So this is the ONLY time you have had this problem and its FREE trading, why are you complaining? I'm sure you make thousands of trades a year and over x-time this is the only time….Its tech. All tech has glitches at one time or another.
So are these the consequences of commission free trading?
I actually had a couple times where I had to click the time and sales tab to get the orders to actually show. Weird stuff.
