Tesla Stock had just reported record revenue and beats on earnings. They pretty much double the profit in 2022 with total production rate of over 44 and deliveries of 31. Tesla also has a vehicle Target of hitting 1.8 million in 2023, which is a sign that they're finally becoming a more mature automaker. However, during the conference call CEO Elon Musk also said there will be bumps along the way and he's expecting a difficult recession this year.

Hmm, what do you think?.

tesla grows an average of 50% per year. tesla's profit margin is higer than google. tesla doesn't compete against other ev makers. it competes against gasoline car makers. the ev market is growing more than 50% per year. tesla is the leader.

I think prices are back where the should be for Tesla. They really were way overbought for a while. That being said, I don't see enough real competition this year to severely hurt market share. Until there are models from other automakers with publicly proven ranges that surpass Tesla's linup. Especially since the recession seems to hurt the legacy automakers more. I could see share prices getting back into the 200s. 220 is probably what I would say is a good number.

Toyota, Honda, Volkswagon, Mercedes, Hyundai, and BMW all rolling out cool electric cars. Tesla's market share has nowhere to go but down

Tesla is way over valued as is. There is no reason they should be valued over all car companies combined. Long term there is no future in the current lithium battery, we would need a few extra Earths to mine enough batteries for everyone in the world. These battery cars are going to be a passing fad, China is already begun unleashing the near infinite energy potential in Hydrogen from sea water. If Tesla has no plans in dumping the Earth destroying technology and slave labor they will be forced out of business. I give Elon less than 1 year to figure out his companies is heading for a brick wall and adapt.
