What's up, everyone? All right? So I'm day trading in Rhode Island and uh, in this episode, I'm going to show you my traveling training station. I'm going to talk a little bit about Rhode Island and today is a thankful Thursday. So 100 of my day trading profits will be donated to a local charity right here in Rhode Island. That's the ocean.

80 chance of rain today. It's not the exotic island that, uh, maybe you were hoping for. maybe I was hoping for, but hey, uh, it's Rhode Island and it's a not even an island. But that's okay.

So let me show you my trading station and I'm going to get into it and start trading today. All right, let's jump into that trading station. All right. So this is a family vacation and you're definitely going to hear kids in the background stuff going on.

paw patrol. Whatever. So anyways, um, my traveling trading station consists of one laptop and two Usb monitors. and that's it.

Now, the awesome thing with these Usb monitors is that these are so thin. Let me see if I get to focus. They're super super skinny, doesn't really even want to focus on it, but um, these fit right in my backpack. It's like just super easy.

So I've been using these ones for a while and one of the things that I've liked about it is when I travel and I'm on an airplane or something like that, I could just slide these right into the back compartment of my bag and I usually don't even have to take them out for like the Tsa. um, the check. I mean, if you're in, um, whatever it's called. Uh uh.

now. I can't even remember It's been so long since I flew, But the priority is not priority. but it's the pre pre, pre-check pre. I don't know.

whatever it's called. It's the thing where you go and get interviewed and then you have it. So anyways, um, this is the traveling trading station as it is right now and I usually set up on the floor. I usually set up like on a little coffee table and that's what I've done right here.

So I've got this little coffee table. um, which is fine. The thing with sitting on the couch is that then I'm like hunched over and I really don't like that. So I'm just gonna sit just like this on a pillow and I've got my little traveling trading station right here.

and my goal this morning is to trade for less than an hour and then go and enjoy Rhode Island. Go hit the beaches and we're gonna go to the Um. Well, we're actually gonna cross state lines, go to the Mystic Aquarium, but you know that that's okay. Enjoy the things that are in this area.

Newport? maybe? Mansion Tours? You know all the fun things down in the coastal area of Rhode Island. So uh, if I can trade for the first hour of the day from you know, 9 a.m to 10 or 8 30 to 9 30 or something like that, that's going to work pretty well for me. So that's the goal here. I've got my scanners up so these are scanning stocks that are gapping up this morning.

we've got a couple of good-looking gappers. this one's 46 percent. We also had a big Momentum stock yesterday one that went from about 22 all the way up to 50 bucks. So we definitely seem to have some action in the market right now.

So the biggest thing for me is since I'm on hotel wi-fi I'm not going to be super aggressive on my share size. I'm just going to try to get in, get out. And because it's Thankful Thursday I want to make sure I can make some money to donate to some local charities and you know, not, try to swing for a home run so I don't know what today is going to give us. But um, well, stay tuned and we're going to find out.

All right? So I just finished trading. it's uh, 10 50. I traded a little longer than I was planning on, but still, it's not even 11 a.m I can have the entire rest of the day to enjoy. and I'm green.

so I'm finishing up here. Um, you can see right there: 13 000 in my main account. unfortunately down 5000 in my retirement account, which gives me a net profit today of 7 500. Donated that to um, three local charities here in Rhode Island.

Johnny Kick Center for Hope 2 500 bucks, Food Bank of Rhode Island 2 500 and the Ronald Mcdonald House in Providence 2500. So overall, um, Rhode Island's treated me okay. It's uh, uh, not as tropical as I was hoping, but it's a land of fast internet which is terrific. Very, very grateful for that.

And uh, yeah, easy easy for me to trade here. Uh, on my traveling trading station. just kind of sitting on this little i don't know desk thingy, whatever it is, coffee table and just doing my thing. Oh, and in case I didn't mention, my results are not typical 7 500. That's good money and I'm pretty proud of that. But you should assume as a beginner trader or even an intermediate, experienced trader, that your odds for success are very low. Most beginner traders lose money.
