Wish I saw this video yesterday, because I made this exact mistake this morning 😫 Tried to short seeing a few dips in an overall bullish trend and before that tried to long when I saw a few pops that ended up being part of an overall bearish run.

my brokers commission is 10 to buy and sell so 20 in total per trade. i wish i could just go in and out, i feel more trapped in positions due to just the commission fee itself. what is your brokers fees if you dont mind telling?

O.K. real Noob question here. I have been trading for about 3 months and would like to mess with options. How does PDT rule apply if I want to short something on the way down then I go to sell if I sell my shorts in the same trading day as I bought does that count as a day trade?

I agree on the cut your losses fast. I traded ESTY and got in the exact same candle you did and cut it. I went back in and still was wrong. Even though looking back if I held and hoped it would have worked out but cant think like that. Took $125 loss in 5k shares on ESTY..i think that is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be hard or blame your self, the Market in general was down look at the Finviz group daily, I did the same idiocy trade without looking the $SPY and jump right at market. fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Great video! I also trading against the market today! Trying to get long on a short bias ticker! then revenge trading it! YAY! but I finally settled down and took that $440 loss and finished the day only down $40 with one good trade.
