Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

All right. Well uh, we're sitting here with about 40 minutes to the opening bell. So today is day two of day trading in Puerto Rico and I've got a couple different stocks that I'll be watching Adtx over all market the S P 500 those are certainly worth watching. Biaf have already gotten a couple trades on that.

so sitting in the green right now? Today currently? Well, yesterday was my 42nd consecutive green day. So this is the hot streak that I've been on. Yesterday was a small green day. We ended up having a really nice move on.

Um, Nrbo. This thing from 10 a.m to 11 went all the way up to 60 a share look at that. So I saw Jess made some great money on that move. a couple other traders did really well.

so good job for those that traded it on the way up Jess of course 500k badge hosting mentor sessions for beginner traders here which is great. And yeah, so that was a really nice move on Nrbo. Uh, and then you had Adtx that started to open up uh, a little bit. uh later.

reverse split then here. So the thing on this one is that it's a little extended. Coming into this morning it just feels like it's already. um, running into some resistance.

Maybe from some swing traders who are trying to take profit. I I don't really know exactly, but I was definitely seeing people talking about swing trading it Biaf still watching? Um, the five minutes? not quite ready, which creates a high risk of a false breakout, but we'll keep an eye on it, I'm still interested, it's just not quite set up yet. So yeah, with 40 minutes the opening bell trading in Puerto Rico, the goal is just to get green and then enjoy the rest of the day. So my traveling trading station has brought me on this wonderful trip and I of course have to, you know, trade each morning.

But I could take a few trades and then enjoy the rest of the day. so that's that's pretty much the game plan. Okay, current time: 8 49 and 50 seconds. So um, getting a little pullback here on this previous low was down there at 72.

a little bit of uh, Chop. Today we've got a new podcast. uh that's gonna get published, so stay tuned for that. It'll be another, uh interview with a profitable trader here at Warrior.

Uh, we'll post a link in the announcements tab a little bit later. Okay, so let's see. so Biaf has a flat bottom here at about 72. was it Nrbo yesterday? One minute is a bit of an Abcd pattern, but we do have a false breakout up there at 602.

So a little bit of risk needs to hold over six. and then I would watch 610 And if it can hold six and starts to pull away, then we're looking for a move up to 650 for sure, right? That's that's the idea. so we may not get that so I'm just going to see what it does in this area. If I've been able to get filled around 72, I would have been happy to be in off of support.

But getting in right here is not perfect so I'm just going to wait for a few minutes, see how it holds up, so you see how we have those kind of big swings up to 95, back down to 81. We'll watch top of the hour 9 a.m for possible breaking news. Haven't done any recaps this week so far, just being on the traveling trading station and wanting to spend as little time in front of the computers I can. I may end up doing one one of these days if there's a particularly noteworthy trade, but nothing has been super super exciting.
in any case, So, leading Gapper right now over on our Gap Scan Sprc, this one's a little cheaper. I'm sure some traders will be watching it over a dollar. Twenty a dollar twenty five, but it is a little cheaper so be better for free commission. Free brokers probably adtx up forty seven percent from the reverse split.

A lot of traders watching that one, but I think I kind of already missed the clean trades on it. Biaf Third, Leading Gapper. I've already talked about that and and that's kind of the top three, right? So we don't really have anything A whole lot more exciting. Akro announced that they're going to do a secondary offering, sell more shares, but price wasn't posted that I saw.

but they're going to sell 175 million dollars worth, so I'm kind of leaving it alone. I feel like there's going to be a stronger short bias on that, but could go higher, but I'm just I'm going to leave it alone for now. Good calling Adtx. So someone tried to buy it on E-trade but they wouldn't let him sell without calling them on the phone, so that's no fun.

Starter on Adtx. Sorry on Biaf there looking for the breakthrough Six: This is a a five minute setup that's starting to form and we've got four seconds left on this five minute candle. and now I'm going to put the new order at 6 10. So if it breaks six and we go up to 605, 610, then I'm going to look to add for that.

squeeze higher, right? So watching here. there's Six on the Ask watching for an ad at 601, 602 for the break of six dollars and then I want to try to size up through 610 615. adding at 94. next ad is 97 Added At 97, there's six.

Can we break through six? Next add is 604 605 on the tape watching for six to thin out and then that punch through. up to six. Fifteen six, Twenty Ninety seven, Ninety Eight on the Ask. 99 added at six, there's 605.

Nice punch through. We only got to 605 New order 615. So what's it going to do? False breakout So I take the profit and then I look to add back, especially because I sized up right there. Needed to rip high is 609 didn't break 610 which is the spot I need to see to start to size up and be more aggressive watching off of 72 to buy a dip off Support: Let's do a double top pattern Alt? yeah, curling up off the low.

I'll keep it on Watch All right. So we're coming up to 9am top of the hour, so welcome to those tuning in on Youtube. Thank you guys for being here! Reminder: As always, trading is risky. Most beginner traders lose money and my results are not typical, so trade cautiously.
I also want to remind you that, um, those streaming on Youtube the broadcast to Youtube. The stream is a little bit behind the ultra low latency stream that goes out to Daytrade, Dash and Warrior Pro members. Thank you to the new members who joined over at Daytrade Dash. We're excited to have you! You are helping support our mission to build the ultimate dashboard for Day Traders! So we are hiring two new developers.

Thanks to your support being members, we can afford it. So hiring two new developers to continue to build out this platform, we've got some exciting things that we're working on. Uh, I don't want to give it all away, but we have some things we're working on so those will be coming soon. new enhancements and updates, and of course uh, Warrior Pro members who are part of the classes.

We love having you as students and we're super proud of you! We have a podcast that I'm uploading today. It's an interview with Marcelo, one of the most recent students to cross over a hundred thousand in profit and he's been doing a terrific job. His interview is already on chapter 17 for pro members uh, but the video is getting uploaded as well in the audio to podcast so they'll get posted for those on Youtube that want to be inspired. Of course his results are not typical.

you know that I say it a million times. I have to say that. but um, we always want to celebrate the success of those who are doing well. So uh, really, very, very good work.

Um, super impressed there and uh, we still have our back to school sale. School Spirit 40 coupon code 40 off the Warrior Starter bundle and the Warrior Pro Bundle. Those are the two kind of popular educational packages that folks join here at Warrior Trading that include combinations of real-time market data services like the scanners, simulator, chat room, and also different sections of the curriculum. The Classes: Hey Manola, good morning I saw you had a 24 000 green Day yesterday or 25 000 so congratulations on that! That's great to see! Um, so let's see right now: 30 minutes to the opening bell? Um, I'm kind of just sitting tight.

I've got a little bit of profit this morning, but you know Alt is a gap down reversal. These ones are tricky. Have to be a little bit careful with that. Leaving it alone for right now.

leading Gabber Adtx, it's at 28. it's pulled back a little off the high of about 32. I got green on it, but it wasn't really that easy to trade. Decided to leave it alone after I felt like it was too choppy.

sprc a little cheaper. Some of you guys might like that for the break over 120 a dip and then rip back through the high. I'm leaving that alone for right now. Biaf got a few trades on this one, but we do have now.

a bit of a history of false breakouts. Not super clean yesterday. the cleanest action I suppose was between 10 and 11 on an Rbo as a squeeze from about thirty dollars to sixty dollars a share. Multiple halts, uh, but of course, as always, not necessarily, um, a guarantee that you'll make money on it.
Certainly seen and saw traders even yesterday that traded it and lost on it just because it's choppy, big spreads, fake outs. We've got the overall market. A little bit of an issue there. You know, the inflation numbers came in high market.

Uh, Gap sold off yesterday. It's about flat right now. We're kind of at this ascending level, ascending support level. but that type of news is certainly strong enough to break that level.

So we may see a breakdown and we'll see, and that may happen. Um, so let's see. I'm thinking at this point, um, I I don't want to overstay my welcome. So Jay says Robin had flagged me for Pdt.

I don't even know why you're still trading at Robin Hood. Why would you even still trade there? I mean, they are using you. You know what they think of you. They you're just A.

You're just a. Um, I mean there's this. They're selling you. They're selling your.

They sell your order flow. They make money on your order flow there. There's a new index, the Robinhood Index. It's the top 100 I think holdings of Robin Hood clients.

It's so institutional traders notice how they can short retail. I mean, it's it's just A. It just seems like a big way of sending your money to the to the top. like take money out of your pocket.

And that's the whole thing with payment for order flow. It's like taking a couple pennies every trade you take out of your pocket and sending it to these big institutional traders. All right, let's see. But um, so if they flag you for Pdt, you, you can get a free pass usually once and then um, after that you have to switch brokers.

So maybe it's um, maybe it's time. I mean I would never traded a broker that takes away the buy button. You know, Gamestop taking away the buy button. That would have been it for me.

Biaf. I is 609 Sprc Adtx. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just sitting tight right now.

We've got about 23 minutes to the opening bell. That's the Robin Hood stock chart, down about 70 since its peak last year. Oh sorry, that's Restoration Hardware. There you go.

I was 84. it's down about also down quite a bit 70 percent. Well, Weeble, I feel the same way. Honestly, I feel the same way with all free commission brokers because the whole idea with a free commission broker is that they're using payment for order flow and the firms that are executing the orders are making billions and billions of dollars on um, on on that, uh, order routing structure.

So every time an order gets filled, they get a little profit, little profit, little profit. They give some to the broker and they keep some for themselves. So they buy your order flow and then they they make money on it from the way they fill the orders. So you know.
To me it Robin Hood is. I think they're What's sort of a little bit different about them was that the structure that they set up, um, allowed them to be one of the first ones to offer free commissions. So they actually make enough with the payment for order flow that they didn't have to charge a commission. So that was.

that was a big deal. and then Weeble does that too. And then Td Ameritrade, E-trade Charles Schwab. Those guys all jumped on board on free commissions to be competitive.

They all did it like at the same time. So you know it's kind of crazy because they have made a ton of money on payment for order flow because they were already doing that. But they were also charging commission. So I don't know how it really changed their profits to take away that payment for order flow but or to take away the Uh commission.

But it's the new standard, Uh, you know. And the fact is, the broker that I use I do pay a commission with which you know sometimes I wonder, is this really worth it And that's when I think, well, should I try using something like Robinhood or something like Td Ameritrade? And um, by the way, this is my internet speed in Puerto Rico. It's good, it's fine, and the problem Um for me is that you know when you're out with a direct access route, a direct access broker like the ones that I use, you're routing directly to the market so you don't fill. You don't fill.

Between the spread of a penny, you fill up pennies you don't get Uh affiliate like you know you trade with Td Ameritrade. You'll fill like you know, 59 cents 59.5 So it's like five, nine, four, five or something like that. You get these splits between the penny which you know and ten thousand shares are big orders. It's a substantial amount of money.

Um, but um, so when you use direct access you're just buying the ask. Maybe you sell the ass, but you don't get any fills between the the spread of a penny, but alternative trading systems which is what a lot of the payment for order flow firms are set up as they're They're dark pools. they um, they're able to split pennies because they don't have the same rules as an exchange, so it's not really a level playing field in a way. I don't know what would be the solution either to allow exchanges to split pennies in the quotes or in the executions.

or and that's what's been proposed. That or forcing all orders to route through the same island so it's like a real true auction like it is. Everyone comes to the same place, but I don't know. Um, I'm not sure what's going to happen with it.

So the problem for me is that I I just don't like the feeling that you know I mean the fact is it, I don't like the feeling of money coming out of my pocket and going to the big institutions. But the fact is Nasdaq as the order the market that I route my orders through. They make money on every trade I take. Just like the big and they are a big.
They're a huge company. so then it's Nasdaq so someone's getting the money. You know it's it's always someone because they get it on the um, the Ecn fee. That's the adding the make or taker fee structure.

Now you can get paid a little bit if you add liquidity, right. If you add liquidity, you can get, um, a rebate. But the rebates that you get are not as big as the repa rebates or as the fees that you pay. So the exchange gets the difference.

If you always added liquidity on your entry and your exit, then that would be one thing. But but you know that's not how breakout trading works. Breakout traders are almost always taking liquidity because you're buying at the market. so you know.

But my, I mean my, My real issue with any of those uh brokers was them taking away the buy button. I just think that that's that's not right. It's one thing to take away leverage, but you can't take away the buy button. Yep, I'm streaming on day trade dash right now.

So with 15 minutes the opening bell um, I don't know. just saying tight Adtx Leading Gapper not in love with it. Biaf second leading gapper couldn't hold six. Still has potential, but not right now, so I think we've already had a little bit of our pre-market surge and now we are kind of probably waiting for the opening bell and to see what's going to happen in the first hour of trading.

I don't know if Europe has free commission brokers. I don't know. I'm not sure if they allow payment for order flow. I think Cmeg does accept Mexican residents.

I'm almost positive. So, if you're looking for quick execution, just answering some questions on Youtube on the broker stuff, if you're looking for quick execution, fast execution, you're generally going to want to use direct Access Broker because you're going to allow. It's going to allow you to send your orders directly to the market, so that's that's your best bet, but you have to pay for it. now.

The thing is, it's a transparency issue. In a sense. you already pay for free commission brokers because you pay through the fact that your order flow is being sold and the broker is getting a kickback and so you're getting a fill that is not as good as if there weren't other people making money on it. On the other hand, with a direct access broker, you're getting filled right at the market price, but then you pay an additional fee on top of that.

So rather than the fee kind of being tucked inside, it's on the outside, so it's but at the end of the day, you're paying a fee either way. in a sense, right now that you do get price improvement through payment for order flow, and that's because of the issue with Um, Ats is being able to split the penny and exchanges not being able to split the penny. So the direct access broker you're not going to be able to split pennies. You're not going to be able to get filled at a midpoint between a penny, you know, uh, trade.
So I don't know if there's a study out there that shows conclusively that you will get better fills at a broker that participates in payment for order flow versus direct access. I would like to see it, but a portion of that study would have to review fill time because as you've been able to see in the way I trade, especially those who watch the live trading archives, I, I can. I mean, my fills are instant, almost instantaneous. They are so fast, and in a fast moving market, you know I've had times where I've bought a stock and it's gone up 50 cents or a dollar a share within seconds.

So the difference there between sending your order directly to the market and getting it filled versus going through. you know, a payment for order flow network where it's just a little slower there? There could be some lost opportunity there, but I I don't know it would be so difficult to really measure it. You know the plumbing of the market is so complex it would be it would be very hard to accurately measure it. and even if You use like I know, some uh, traders with Td, Ameritrade will route directly to Nasdaq and Arca.

I I don't think that that's going to be as fast as if you route through Nasdaq or Arca using a direct access broker just because of the I. I just I. In my experience when I tried it, it didn't seem it, it was was not as fast. And that's what I've heard from a lot of people is that it's not the same from people who have done both And Danny is one of those traders who's done both so I don't know.

You got to make your own decision. I mean free commission brokers. It is nice to have no commissions or at least it seems that way you know. It's nice to have a nice mobile app where you can trade.

I don't have that. I don't have a mobile app where I can take into trades for my broker, so I am 100 on the computer. I do like that about Td Ameritrade, the Robinhood app. I mean it is nice and I like confetti as much as the next person.

So 10 minutes to the opening bell? All right. So I think at this point I don't have one that I'm super dialed in for. You know, for the Gap and Go type of trade. Biaf? I like the idea, but Hlvx Sprc.

I don't know if um, Manoli or Jess suggests watching alt Hlv x Adtx. So Fyi, um, a member mentioned earlier that he was able to buy Adtx on he trade, but he wasn't able to sell it without calling them. I mean again, that's like one of those things. Like it would make you question the broker you're using because getting you you should that you shouldn't be able to do that.

You should be able to sell it. If you want to sell it, you shouldn't get stuck. You just you don't want to get stuck on something. I mean every now and then it happens I suppose with any broker.

but um, just hear about it happening more often than it should. So Adtx, you can see it's coming back up to Vwap here. I took a starter on it. of course I can trade it actively.
I'm going to look to add over 29. So my thought on Adtx is looking for a squeeze back up to 30 bucks. This is a Break of Ewap setup, so watch the micro pullback at 28.94 Added 2850 to buy the dip. Now looking for the break of 29? there's 29.15 That gives me a little bit of profit as it breaks through that level.

Now let's see what it does flat on the rest of it. I think that might have been a net loss between the two. the exit at profit and the exit loss. Need it to break through 29 and go 29.50 but only six minutes, seven minutes.

the opening bell. Adtx will keep it on watch Akro. They announced 175 million dollar offering in the works, so seems like it's a short, but I guess it depends on what the price is and we don't. I don't I didn't see the price yet, so Adtx still on watch in case it breaks out.

It definitely has the potential if it opens up to make multi-point moves, but I just don't know if it'll happen. Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are looking for the the next Nrbo and those have been on reverse split stocks. Those types of moves, so that's certainly something to be watching for. Alt is not going to be that pattern.

It's a different pattern adtx. It's possible it's possible that this could pull away, it's had a lot of resistance, but if it started to pull away, you've got a lot of room potentially on the daily chart, so it's definitely worth watching be. Iaf is a recent ipo, so that one's a little bit different, but still some good potential. So those are the ones I'm going to watch going into the open and we'll see if we get some more clean trades and maybe I can get myself up over my daily goal.

All right. So that's the game plan for today. Thank you for those who have tuned in on Youtube for the morning show. Appreciate you guys being here.

We've got a premiere coming up. uh at 9 30. so you guys will go right into that premiere. I hope you enjoy it and we'll see you back here first thing tomorrow morning for the morning show.

You.

Day 7 in the warrior sim and 7 green days in a row! Today was $457.50 on ADTX. I did have some issues with my orders being filled which I didnโ€™t expect so need to investigate that and understand what happened. It seems easy to capture that .10 per share and low risk to jump in and out within a few seconds on upward momentum…. but it also takes like 25k-30k buying power to squeeze that $50 or $100 profit in those few seconds. Wondering how well this experience translates to real money and if I would still be profitable after fees and commissions with these low share sizes and .10 gains?
